THE MESSAGE OR A CRY OF ANGUISH 31 Can someone explain what any organisation has done to protect [the Muslims] against these traps? If their entire undertaking is such that it does not even warn adequately and completely against all the attacks of the opponents, and if their raising orphans is only limited to helping them reach adulthood and maturity, then this entire exercise is meant to serve the opponents of Islam rather than Islam itself. If it was intended to serve Islam, then, first of all, a comprehensive reply to the objections raised by the Christians, philosophers, Aryas and Brahmu Samājists, whose number has risen to three thousand, must have been prepared and published based on thorough research and investigation. It does not suffice at all to write a rebuttal to a few pages of Ummahātul-Mu'minin, rather it is more essential to keep record of the six-decade-long activities of Christian priests, and to prepare a comprehensive list of all the objections related to philosophy and natural sciences that have gone hand in hand with one another, and also of the objections which the Arya Samājists have thought of after the new revolution, and then let this waste be dealt with methodically in many volumes, and be consumed by the bright and blazing fire of truth.
