Seeing them, the Promised Messiahas said: What a large stock of halal things to eat has been provided by Allah the Exalted, while on the contrary, harām items such as dogs, etc. , are not as common. The Promised Messiahas continued: So many more revolutions have transpired in this city than the crises that have perhaps befallen any other city. This city flour- ished several times, and several times it was reduced to dust. Dr Mirza Yaqub Baig was the addressee, and it was said that his leave [from work] was nearing its end.
