Mahmud's Aameen جب تجھ سے دل لگایا سو سو ہے غم اٹھایا تن خاک میں ملایا جاں پر وبال آیا Since the time I made my heart fall in love with You, hundreds and hundreds of woes I have suffered. Since then I have made my body roll in dust. Since then I have made my soul to be af- flicted with a distressing pain. پر شکر اے خدایا جاں کھو کے تجھ کو پایا یہ روز کر مبارک سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يَرَانِي Yet, O God, I am grateful to You, for I have lost myself, and found You. Make blessed this day; Holy is He Who watches over me. دیکھا ہے تیرا منہ جب چمکا ہے ہم پہ کو کب مقصود مل گیا سب، ہے جام اب لبالب When we beheld Your Countenance, the shining star then had begun shining on us; I have achieved all my objectives; over- flowing is my goblet. تیرے کرم سے یارب میرا بر آیا مطلب یہ روز کر مبارک سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يَرَانِي O, Lord! It was through the Grace of You that I achieved my objective. Make blessed this day; Holy is He Who watches over me. احباب سارے آئے تو نے یہ دن دکھائے تیرے کرم نے پیارے یہ مہرباں بلائے All friends have arrived; You have made these days to dawn. It is the kindness of You, my Love, that has brought here these affectionate ones. یہ دن چڑھا مبارک مقصود جس میں پائے یہ روز کر مبارک سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يَرَانِي This blessed day has dawned in which all my wishes are ful- filled. Make blessed this day; Holy is He Who watches over me. 13
