THE FINAL WORD 507 produce the like of this book in all its aspects and show me your knowl- edge and your honour in the court of the Lord of Majesty. But if you do it not, and never shall you do it, O foolish people, be respectful to peo- ple of truth, [divine] light and [spiritual] radiance, and do not exceed all bounds, transgressing. This is the work of the Almighty Lord alone, not the work of strangers or weaklings. Truly, miracles manifest when enemies engage in insulting, and the servants of Allah are indeed helped once the cru- elty of the oppressors comes to an end. When injustice reaches its peak, the Lord of the Heavens seizes them. So repent of sins and errors and rush towards virtuous and righteous actions. Wisdom, indeed all wis- dom, lies in accepting divine miracles, so accept them before you suf- fer regret. Fear the darkness of disgrace and reproach and the severe punishment of the Day of Judgement. Good news awaits you if you come forward in the manner of the repentant and remorseful. This ends my admonition and completes my refutation of the ene- mies and completes the argument.
