316 THE LIGHT OF TRUTH-PART ONE my full trust in You, and I fall down in prostration before You. Verily You are the refuge of those who put their trust in You. O Generous Benefactor of mine, grant me favour! I know of no benefactor besides You. Send peace and blessings upon Your Messenger and Prophet, Muhammad. Pray ever increase his status and show the world the proof of his truthfulness. I have come to You with tears in my eyes for the sake of his Religion. You know full well what is in my heart, and You see what is in my innermost being. I am with You of my own free will, and I do not withhold a single iota of my sincerity from You, nor of my heart, mind, and soul. I would not have been rightly guided had You not shown me the way. I found nothing aside from what You gave me. Hence, all praise is for You, and indeed all admiration of those who praise returns to You in the end. You are a Merciful Lord and Noble Master, so pray do not forsake the one who comes to You and befriends You and loves You with utmost affection and chooses You with perfect sincerity. Glad tidings to the servants whose Lord You are, and to the people whose Master You are. Your mercy exceeds Your anger and You never allow Your sincere servants to go to waste. All praise, the first and the last and at all times, belongs to You.
