Today on Thursday, 21 October, 1926, after spending one year and 10 months as a prisoner on the soil of Russia and the Turkic region of the Soviet Union, Huzoor's humble servant finally reached Karachi due to the grace of God Almighty and the prayers of Huzoor and indeed the attention of Huzoor. My dear master already knows the state of illness and helplessness I was in when I left Mashhad for Bukhara alone without a passport during the month of December when the roads had turned white from snowfall.
