122 FIRST GRAIN OF SAND spent day and night trying to prevent my ideology from spreading, and yet despite throwing immense opposition and thorns on my path, that message spread and gained acceptance with great inten- sity. It is very likely that had I preached outside the prison, I may not have enjoyed as much success, but it was the sheer grace and favour of God Almighty that He enlisted me to disseminate the [magnificent] light of the Ahmadiyya Movement in the narrow and dark confines of a prison cell and enlightened all those who came forth. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the Worlds!
