مر مَرَّ )2:11( لَيْلَةٌ مَّرِيضَةٌ : A night in which no star shines. مسح وش ]aor. يَمُرُّ inf. noun مُرُورًا and مَرًّا [ : He or it passed; passed by or beyond; went; went on proceeded. فَمَرَّتْ به : She goes about with it )7:190( مَرَّةٌ : A time; one time; one action. فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ : Every year once or twice )9:126( مِرَّةً : Strength strength of make رَجُلٌ ذُوْمِرَّةٍ : A strong man strength of intellect and sound judgement and firmness. ذُوْ مِرَّةٍ : Possessor of strength (53:7); the condition on which a thing continues to exist or carry on. In this sense the word may mean God's Law )سنة لک اسْتَمَرَّ : It (a thing) went on in one uniform course or manner; it continued in a regular, uniform or constant course; he or it became strong or firm سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌ : Oft-repeated sorcery )54:3(. مُسْتَمِرٌ : A custom constantly obtaining, unvarying. The word also means passing away and vain or ineffectual. فِي يَوْمٍ نَحْسٍ : In a day of ill-fortune that was lasting or continuous or effective (54:20). مُّسْتَمِرٍ مَارَى ]inf. noun مِرَاءٌ and مُمَارَاةٌ[ : He doubted; questioned; disputed; debated; quarrelled. يُمَارُوْنَ فِي السَّاعَةِ : Who dispute concerning the Hour )42:19( فَلا تُمَارٍ فِيْهِمْ : So argue dispute, debate, not concerning them )18:23( بمَا كَانُوا فِيْهِ يَمْتَرُوْنَ : About which they doubted )15:64( مِرَاءٌ : Quarrel dispute; doubt. )18:23( مِرْيَةٌ : Doubt; quarrel; dispute )22:56( مُمْتَرٌ : One who doubts or quarrels )مُمْتَرِينَ is plural(. فَلا تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ : So be not of those who doubt (3:61). مَزَجَ ]aor. يَمْزُجُ inf. noun مِزَاجُ and مَزَجٌ[ : He mixed, blended. مَزَجَ الشَّرَابَ بِالْمَاءِ : He mixed the wine with water. مِزَاجُ : Mixture كان مِزَاجُهَا كَافُوْرًا : Mixed or tempered with camphor )76:6(. مَزَقَ ]aor. يَمْزِقُ inf. noun مَزْقًا and مَزَّقَ الثَّوْبَ مَرْقَةً : Hetore, rent, destroyed the garment completely. مَزَّقْتُهُمْ كُلُّ مُمَزَّقٍ : We broke them into pieces (34:20). الْمُزْنُ Cloud حَبُّ الْمُزْنِ : Hail stone. وَ أَنْتُمْ أَنْزَلْتُمُوْهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ : Is it you who send it down from the clouds (56:70)? مَسَحَ ]aor. يَمْسَحُ inf. noun مَسْحَ شَيْئًا مَسْحًا : He wiped a thing with his 752
