لجا لبس signifies collected together like locusts (plural of لِبْدَةٌ which signifies a locust(. مَالٌ لِبَدٌ : Much wealth collected wealth. أَهْلَكْتُ مَالاً لَبَدًا : I have destroyed much wealth )90:7(. لَبِسَ الثَّوْبَ [لُبْسُ لَبِسَ ]aor. يَلْبَسُ inf. noun : He put on or wore the garment. يَلْبَسُوْنَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِّنْ سُنْدُسٍ : Will wear green garments of fine silk )18:32( لَبِسَ الثَّوْبَ : He had the enjoyment of a woman or wife (meaning of her converse and services. لَبِسْتُ فُلانًا : I chose such a one specially as a companion لَبَسَ عَلَيْهِ الْاَمْرَ : He rendered the affair confused or dubious to him, or he concealed لَبَنٌ لک لَجَّ لَجَا the affair from him. وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَّا يَلْبِسُوْنَ : And thus We would have made confused to them what they are confusing themselves )6:10( وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوْا إِيْمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ : And they have not mixed up their belief with injustice )6:83( أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا : Or He confounded you by (splitting you) into different sects (6:66). لَبْسٌ : Dubiousness; confusedness or confusion; lack of clearness )5:16( and لَبُوْسٌ : Dress; apparel; the covering of anything. جَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا : We have made the night as a covering, a man's wife and a woman's husband )78:11( لِبَاسَ الْجُوْعِ وَالْخَوْفِ : The utmost degree of hunger and fear. لَبُوْسٌ : A coat or coats of mail (16:113;21:81).
