قبس قبح قَبْحَ قَبَر قَبَاحَةٌ ]aor. يَقْبُحُ inf. noun : He or it was or became bad, evil, abominable, foul, unseemly, ugly, hideous (contr. of قَبَحَ حَسُنَ )aor قَبَحَهُ اللَّهُ أَوْ قَبَّحَهُ اللَّهُ . يَقْبَحُ : God removed him or may God remove him from good, prosperity, success etc; God drove him away or may God drive him away like a dog or pig; may God make or cause the removal from good, or prosperity, from him or betide him. قَبَّحَ الْبَيْضَةَ : He broke the egg قَبَّحَ عَلَيْهِ فِعْلَهُ : He explained to him the badness or foulness of his deed or declared his deed to be bad. قَبِيحُ : Bad evil, abominable. مَقْبُوحٌ )مَقْبُوْحِيْنَ plural) : Removed from or deprived of good, prosperity, success; driven from good like a dog; rendered foul, bad, abominable (28:43). ]aor. يَقْبِرُ inf. noun قَبْرٌ and قَبَرَ الْمَيِّتَ مَقْبَرٌ : He buried the corpse. أَقْبَرَهُ : He made him to be buried; he made for him a grave in order to bury him; he assigned to him a grave; he ordered that he should be buried أَمَاتَهُ فَأَقْبَرَهُ : He (God) causes him to die and assigns a grave to him (80:22); he permitted that he should be buried. أَقْبَرَ الْقَوْمَ : He gave the people their deed so that thy might bury him or he ordered him to dig a grave. قَبْرٌ : A grave tomb, sepulchre or place of burial, of a human being. )قبور plural(. لا تَقُمْ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ : Nor stand by his grave )9:84( إِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ : When the graves are laid open )825( مَقْبُرَةٌ or مَقْبِرَةٌ : A cemetery, a graveyard or burial place )مَقَابِرُ )plural( . حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ : Till you reach the graves )1023( )مَقْبُرَةٌ and مَقْبَرَةٌ and مِقْبَرَةٌ and مَقْبَرٌ He took : قَبَسَ مِنْهُ نَارًا وَاقْتَبْسَ اقْتَبَسَ and قَبْسٌ inf. noun يَقْبِسُ . aor] قَبَسَ fire from him or took fire from the main mass thereof. قَبَسَ نَارًا : He lighted the fire. قَبَسَ مِنْهُ نَارًا : He sought fire from him. قَبَسَ عِلْمًا مِنْهُ : He acquried knowldge from him. قَبَسَهُ النَّارَ : He brought fire to him. اِقْتَبَسَ مِنْهُ النَّارَ أَوِ العِلْمَ : He acquired, learned or sought knowledge from him or took or sought fire from him. (Syn. نَقْتَبِسْ مِنْ .
