امن with him, save as I trusted you with his brother before (12:65). And if one of you entrust : فَإِنْ آمِنَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ another with something, then let him who is entrusted, surrender his trust )2:284( إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِدِيْنَارٍ : If thou trust him with a dinar )3:76( مَالَكَ لَا تَأْمَنَّا عَلَى يُوْسُفَ : Why dost thou not trust us with respect to Joseph (or entrust Joseph to us( )12:12( أَمِنَهُ عَلَى كَذَا أَوِنْتَمَنَهُ عَلَيْهِ : He trusted him with respect to such a thing; he entrusted him with power, authority, control or charge over it; he gave him charge over it. اَمُنَ ]aor. يَأْمُنُ inf. noun أَمَانَ[. It is equal to أَمِنَ and means: He was or became trustworthy or trustful. وَامُنَهُمْ مِّنْ خَوْفٍ : And rendered them safe from fear )1065( آمَنَ aor. يُؤْمِنُ and inf. noun اَمَنَهُ إِيْمَانُ and أمَّنَهُ : He rendered him safe or secure; he gave him protection. امَنَ فُلَانٌ الْعَدُوَّ : Such a one gave protection to the enemy. امَنَ بِاللَّهِ : He believed in God. امَنَ لَهُ : He believed him; he believed in what he :(26:50) امَنْتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ اذَنَ لَكُمْ and (7:124) امُنْتُمْ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ اذَنَ لَكُمْ . said نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيكَ شه Both mean, you believed in him before I gave you leave. يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ : He believes in Allah and believes the faithful i. e. believes what they say to be truthful or he gives credit to them. امَنَ لَهُ لُوْطٌ : Lot believed in him or believed him )29:27( : We will not believe in thy ascension )17:04( لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ : We shall not believe you )9:94( اَمْنٌ : Security or safety; peace, freedom from fear; possessed of safety. أَنْتَ فِي أَمْنٍ : Thou art in a state of security. أُولئِكَ لَهُمُ الْاَمْنُ : It is they who shall have peace )6:83( إِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنَا : When We made the house a resort for mankind and a place (possessed) of security )2:126( اَمَنَةٌ : Peace security; freedom from fear. ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً : Then after the sorrow He sent down peace on you )3155( أَمَانَاتٌ أَمَانَةٌ )plural) : Faithfulness or fidelity; honesty; a thing committed to the care or trust of a person; a trust or deposit (2:284); a duty or task allotted to a person; the commandment of God given to His servant إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْآمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : We offered the trust (or gave the commandment) to the heavens and the earth )33:73( أَمَانَةٌ also means: A man's family or household هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُوْنَ : 37 28. امن
