طرف طحا also the plural of هَذَا الشَّيْءُ طَبَقُ هَذَا وَ طِبَاقُهُ طَبَقٌ : This thing is the match of this or its like. خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا : He (God) created seven heavens in harmony, one above the other, or seven heavens alike )674( طِبَاقُ الْاَرْضِ : What is upon the earth. طَحَا ]aor يَطْحُوْ inf. noun طَحْرٌ [ and طَحَى ]aor. يَطْحِى inf. noun طَحْيٌ طَحَا شَيْئًا : He spread a thing, expanded it or extended it. وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحْهَا : And by the earth and its spreading )91:7( الْقَوْمُ يَطْحَى بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا : The people repel one another. مَا أَدْرِي أَيْنَ طَحَا : I do not know where he has gone. طَرُؤَ ]aor. يَطْرُؤُ inf. noun طَرَاءَةٌ and طَرُقَ النَّبَاتُ طَرَاءٌ : The plant was or became fresh, juicy or moist (i. q. طَرُوَ inf. noun طَرِى طَرَاوَةٌ )طَرِيءٌ( : Fresh juicy or moist. لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا : That you may eat therefrom fresh flesh )16:15( الطَّرِيَّانِ : Fish and fresh ripe dates. طَرَحَ ]aor. يَطْرَحُ inf. noun طَرَحَ الشَّيْءَ أَوْ طَرَحَ بِهِ [طَرْحٌ : He cast threw the १० thing or cast it away; he rejected the thing or discarded it, cast it off as of no account; he put the thing or removed it to a distance. أَوِ اطْرَحُوْهُ أَرْضًا : Or cast him away to a distant land )12:10( طَرَحَتِ الْأَنْثَى : The woman cast out her child (embryo( before it became complete. طَرَحَ بِهِ الدَّهْرُ كُلُّ مَطْرَحِ : Fortune separated him utterly from his family. طرح : He was or became evil in disposition; he led a life of comfort and ease. طَرَدَ aor. يَطْرُدُ inf. noun طَرْدٌ and طَرَدَة [ طَرَدٌ : He drove him away, expelled him, repelled him, said to him "go away from us". طَرَدَة مِنْ بَلَدِهِ : He expelled him from his town. طَرَدَ الإبل : He drove the camels. وَ لا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ : And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord )6:53( طَارِدٌ )act. part. (. وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ : and I am not going to drive away the believers (26:115). طَرَفَ ]aor. يَطْرِقُ inf. noun طَرْتْ[ : He looked from the outer angle of the eye; he put the edge of the eye-lid in motion and looked. لک الطَّرْف signifies the putting of the eyelids in motion. طَرَفَ بَصَرَهُ : He winked طَرَف also means, he looked for اَلطَّرْفُ means the 518
