ضرب ضر damaged him (syn. with or be harmed or injured him in return; he opposed him. )ضَارّة is also syn with لا تُضَارُّوْهُنَّ ضَرَّهُ : Do not harass them )657( لاضَرَرَ وَلا ضِرَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ : There shall be no injuring or hurting of one by another in the first instance, nor in return in Islam وَ لا تُمْسِكُوْهُنَّ ضِرَارًا : And retain them not in order to hurt them )2:23( اِضْطَرَّهُ إِلَى كَذَا : It or he drove him to have recourse to such a thing. مُضْطَرٌ )pass. part. from اِضْطَرَّ( : One who is compelled to do a thing against his will.
