ساع ساط water collects and stagnates; aroad or track of little width between two elevations. سَاعَ ]aor. يَسُوعُ inf. noun سَاعَ الشَّيْءُ سَوْعٌ : The thing was wasted. سَاعَتِ الإبل : The camels were left to themselves without a pastor. أَسْوَعَ الرَّجُلُ : The man passed from hour to hour or he remained behind or held back for a time. سَاعَةٌ : A space; a period; an hour; a moment; an indefinite time; little while or short time; a watch a clock جَلَسْتُ عِنْدَهُ سَاعَةً : I sat with him for a little while. فَلا يَسْتَأْخِرُوْنَ سَاعَةً : They cannot remain behind a single moment )10:50( سَاعَةٌ : Difficulty, distress or affliction سَاعَةٌ سَوْعَاءُ : A grievous or distressing hour or time, distance or remoteness. فِي سَاعَةٍ : In a short time; مُذْ سَاعَةٍ : A little while ago. مِنْ سَاعَةٍ : Instantly. السَّاعَةُ : Now just now this moment; the Resurrection; Great Event. اَلسَّاعَةُ is of three kinds )1( اَلسَّاعَةُ الصُّغْرَى : The death of one man. قَدْ Those indeed are the : خَسِرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً losers who deny the meeting with Allah, until when death comes to them suddenly )6:32( )2( اَلسَّاعَةُ الْوُسْطَى : The death of one generation. إِنْ يَّكُلِّ عُمُرُ هَذَا الْغُلامِ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى تَقُوْمَ السَّاعَةُ : If the life of this boy last long, he will not die until the death of the generation shall come to pass (a tradition( )3( اَلسَّاعَةُ الْكُبْرَى : The Resurrection. يَسْتَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ : They ask thee concerning the Resurrection (or the time thereof) (79:43). سُوَاعٌ : A certain idol of Pagan Arabs )71:24(. The : سَاغَ الشَّرَابُ . [ سَيْعٌ inf. noun يَسِيعُ . and aor سَوْعٌ inf. noun يَسُوعُ aor سَاعَ drink was easy and agreeable to swallow; it passed the faeces easily and agreeably . سَاغَ النَّهَارُ : The day was or became easy. سَاغَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ : The ground sank with him سَائِعٌ : Applied to beverage or wine and food means, descending easily and agreeably down the throat, easy and agreeable to swallow; not choking سَائِعًا لِلَّشْرِبِينِ : Agreeable and pleasant for those who drink )16:67( وَ لَا يَكَادُ يُسِيْغُهُ : And shall not be able to swallow iteasily (14:18). سَوْفَ سَوْفَ is a particle denoting amplification, because it changes the aorist from the strait time which is the present to the ample time, which is the future and is used with respect to that which has not yet happened or is 422
