سن مَقَالِيْدُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth )39:64( أَسْبَابَ السَّمَوَاتِ : The means of approach to the heavens For Allah are the hosts of the heavens : لِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ . (40:38) سما and the earth. وِلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : To Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth )638( رَبُّ السَّمَواتِ وَالْاَرْضِ : Lord of the heavens and the earth )37:6( عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : The Knower of the secrets of the heavens and the earth )35:39( مَلَكُوْتُ السَّمَواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : The kingdom of the heavens and the earth( )6:76( نُوْرُ السَّمَاتَ وَالْأَرْضِ : Light of the heavens and the earth )24:36( فَاطِرُ السَّمَواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ : Maker of the heavens and the earth (12:102). سَنَّ ]aor. يَسُنُّ inf. noun سَنَّهُ سَنُّ : He bit him with his teeth. 3= He : سَنَّهُ بِالرُّمْحِ pierced him with the spear. سَنَّ السِّكِينَ : He sharpened the knife and polished it; سَنَّ الْعُقْدَةَ : He undid the knot سَنَّ الْاَمْرَ : He manifested the matter or the affair سَنَّهُ or سَنَّ سُنَّةً : He instituted, established or prescribed it; i. e. a custom or practice, or set the example of it; originated it as a custom to be followed by others. سَنَّ الطَّرِيقَةَ : He followed or pursued that way or course. سَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ سُنّةً : He established or instituted or prescribed for them a law or custom or mode of conduct. سَنَّ سُنَّةً : He pursued a way, course, rule, mode or manner of acting or conduct of life. سَنَّ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ سُنَّتَهُ : God made known for the people His commands, ordinances and statutes 1): سُنّة( Face or form; (2) a way or course or rule, or mode or manner of conduct; (3) way of acting instituted or pursued by a people and followed by others after them; (4) precedent; example; (5) character or conduct or nature or disposition; (6) law or religious law or dispensation; (7) the black line or streak on the back of the ass سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ : The practice of the Holy Prophet as handed down fromhimby tradition; the institutes of the Holy Prophet, or his rule or usage. سُنَّةَ اللهِ فِي الَّذِيْنَ خَلَوْا : )Such has been the( way of Allah with those who passed away )33:63( فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِيْنَ : The example of the former peoples has already passed )8:39( سُنَنٌ )plural(. قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ : There have been many dispensations before you )3:138( سُنَنَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ : The ways of those before you )4:27( أَسْنَانُ الْعَرَبِ : Great men of the Arabs. سَنَّ اَسْنَانَهُ : He cleaned his 414
