رأف رأس رَأْسَ ]aor. يَرْأَسُ and يَرْأَسُ inf. noun رَأْسَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ رَأَسَ الْقَوْمَ [رِنَاسَةٌ : He وَلَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلادٍ رَأْسًا عَلَى : He had three children 20 headed the people, became their chief or head or Lord رَاسَ : He was or became high in rank or condition; he strove for headship or command. رَأْسَهُ )aor يَرْأَسُ inf. noun رَأْسٌ( : He hit or hurt his head. اَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي خُبْزًا : Carrying upon my head bread )12:37(. رُؤُوْسٌ )plural(. فَلَكُمْ رُؤُوْسُ اَمْوَالِكُمْ : You will have your principal or original sums )2280( رَاسٌ : The head of a man or animal; the highest part of a mountain; its peak or summit or uppermost part of a valley. أَصَابَ رَأْسَهُ : He kissed his head. رَكِبَ رَأْسَهُ : He went at random. عَلَى رَأْس born to him one after, or near after another. عِنْدِى رَأْسٌ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ : I have one head of sheep or goats. رَاَسٌ also means the extremity of a thing or the end thereof; a head, cape or promontory; the hilt of a sword. رَأْسُ الْمَال The capital or principal of property. رُءُ وْسٌ )plural(. كَأَنَّهُ رُءُ وْسُ الشَّيطِيْنِ : Though it were the heads of serpents )37:66( فَامْسَحُوْا بِرُؤُوْسِكُمْ : And pass your wet hands over your heads )57( رَأْسُ الدِّيْنِ مَخَافَةُ اللَّهِ : The principal part of religion is the fear of God. رَاسُ الشهْرِ : The beginning of the month خُذْهُ مِنْ رَّأْسٍ : Take thou it from the beginning. رَأْسٌ also signifies a numerous and strong company of men. هُمْ رَاسٌ : They are numerous and strong company of men. هُمْ رَأَسٌ عَظِيمٌ : They are an army by themselves, not needing any aid رَئِيسُ : A chief of a people. رُؤُسَاءُ )plural(. یک رَؤُفَ بِهِ and رَأَفَ بِهِ [رَأْفَةٌ لک رَأَفَ aor. يَرْأَ inf. noun : He pitied him or pitied him most tenderly or in the utmost degree. رَأْفَةٌ is syn. with رَحْمَةٌ or it denotes a more special and more tender affection than رَحْمَةٌ or the most tender thereof or the utmost degree thereof. وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوْبِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُ رَأْفَةً وَ رَحْمَةً : And We placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who accepted him )57:28( رَؤُوفٌ : Compassionate; very merciful. It has an intensive signification. بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَؤُوْفٌ رَّحِيمٌ : To the believers he is compassionate and merciful. الرَّؤوْتُ is one of the epithets used for God. وَاللَّهُ رَؤُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ : And Allah is Compassionate to His servants )2:208( رَأْفَةٌ : Pity, compassion; utmost degree of mercy. لا تَأْخُذْكُمْ بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ : Let not pity take hold 303
