دفئ دعا supplicates, invites or calls )دَاعُونَ and دُعَاةٌ are plurals(. أُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَان : I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he prays to Me )2:187( دَاعِ اللَّهِ : The Summoner of Allah وَمَنْ لَّا يُجِبْ دَاعِيَ الله : And who does not respond to God's Summoner )46:33( اَلدَّاعِي also means a مُؤَذِّنٌ i. e. Summoner to Prayer. اَدْعِيَاءُ : دَعِيٌّ )plural): One invited to a repast; one who makes a claim in respect of relationship; one who claims as his father, a person who is not his father; an adopted son; one whose origin or lineage or parentage is suspected. وَمَا جَعَلَ اَدْعِيَاءَ كُمْ أَبْنَاءَ كُمْ : And He has not made your adopted sons your real sons )33:5(. دَفِيءَ ]aor. يَدْفَيُّ inf. noun دَفِيَّءَ دَفَاءٌ : He was or became warm or hot or he experienced warmth or heat or he wore what rendered him warm or hot. دَفِيءَ مِنَ الْبَرَدِ : He wore warm clothing to protect himself from the cold. دَفِيَّءَ الْبَيْتُ : The house was or became warm or hot. 1) : دِفْءٌ( Warmth or heat; (2). a thing that renders one warm or hot or wool or the camel's fur. مَا عَلَيْهِ دِفْءٌ : There is nothing upon him that should keep him warm. لَكُمْ فِيْهَا دِفْءٌ : For you in them is warmth, etc. )16:6( ; )3(. the young ones and hair and milk of camels and whatever else of a useful nature is obtained from them; (4). a gift. ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ دَفَعَ ]aor. يَدْفَعُ inf. noun دَفَعَهُ دَفْعُ : Herepelled, impelled, pushed, repulsed drove him with force or strength as also دَافَعَهُ )inf. noun دِفَاعٌ and مُدَافَعَةٌ( ; دَفَعَ عَنْهُ or دَافَعَ عَنْهُ : He helped him; he defended him. 1 : دَفَعْتُ عَنْهُ الاذى repelled or averted or removed from him what was harmful or protected him. دَفَعَهُ بِحُجَّةٍ : He refuted himby an argument. دَفَعْتُ الْقَوْلَ : I refuted or rebutted the saying. هِيَ أَحْسَنُ : Repell evil (or refute) with what is best )2397( قَاتِلُوْا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللَّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُوْا : Fight ye in the cause of Allah or repel the attack of the enemy )3168( اِدْفَعْ هَذَا : Leave or spare him. دَفَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ الشَّيْءَ : I gave to him the thing. فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ : And when you give them their property )4:7( دَفَعَ also signifies, he returned إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدَافِعُ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ آمَنُوا : Verily Allah defends energetically those who believed, or helps those who are believers )22:39( دفع : The act of pushing, repelling, repulsing etc. (inf. noun from وَلَوْلادَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ .
