دری درک إِدْرَهَمٌ ]aor. يَدْرَهَمُّ inf. noun إِدْرَهَمَّ بَصَرُهُ إِدْرِهَامًا : His sight became dim or obscure. دِرْهَمٌ : A certain silver coin; a dirhem دَرَاهِمُ )plural): Coins; money cash or coin in an absolute sense. وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍ بَخْسٍ دَرَاهِمَ مَعْدُوْدَةٍ : And they sold him for a paltry price, a few dirhems (12:21). He knew the : دَرَى الشَّيْءَ اَوْ بِالشَّيْءِ دَرْيًا and دَرْيَةً inf. noun يَدْرِي aor دَرَى thing. دَرَيْتُ بِهِ )aor. اَدْرِى( : I knew it it is also said to signify, I knew it after doubting or I knew it by a sort of artifice or skill. مَا أَدْرِى أَيُّ النَّاسِ هُوَ : I know not who of mankind he is. وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌ : And no soul knows )31:35( وَمَا اَأَدْرِى مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي : Nor do I know what will be done with me )46:10( وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ : And not knew what my account or reckoning was )69:27( اَدْرَى الرَّجُلَ بِكَذَا : He made the man to know or have knowledge of such a thing or become acquainted with it. مَا أَدْرَاكَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ : Thou dost not know; or what should make thee know. وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ : And what should make thee know what the Night of Destiny is )973( وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُ يَزَّكَّى : And what makes thee know (and thou dost not know) that he may be seeking to purify himself (80:4). دَسٌ ]aor. يَدُسُ inf. noun دَسَّهُ [دَسٌ : He hid it; he buried it; he thrust it in. ام يَدُسُّهُ فِي التَّرَابِ : Or whether he bury it in the dust (16:60) and also دَسَهُ and دَاهُ or دَى may have an intensive signification دَاهُ also means he corrupted it. قَدْخِاَبَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا : He is unsuccessful or is ruined who corrupts it; makes it vile and little by evil works; or who makes it obscure or stunnethit (91:11). و دَسَرَ ]aor. يَدْسُرُ inf. noun دَسَرَهُ [دَسْرٌ : He or it pushed, thrust, drove, propelled him or it دَسَرَهُ : He thrust; he pierced or stabbed him vehemently with a spear دَسَرَ aor. يَدْسُرُ )and )يَدْسِرُ( : He drove in a nail with force; he nailed anything; he fastened, or repaired a ship withanail, or with cord of fibres of palm-tree. دِسَارٌ : Cord of the fibres of the palm-tree with which the planks of a ship are bound together; a nail of a دَعْ ship. دُسُرٌ )plural( ; وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى ذَاتِ اَلْوَاحٍ وَّدُسُرٍ : And We carried him upon that which was made of planks and nails (54:14). aor يَدْعُ inf. noun دَعْهُ [دَعٌ : He pushed him thrust him, or drove him 269
