دخل دحض : دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ . He slipped : دَحَضَتْ رِجْلُهُ [ دَحْصٌ inf noun يَدْحَضُ . aor] دَحَضَ دَحَا The sun declined towards the place of setting. دَحَضَتْ حُجَّتُهُ : His argument, plea, allegation or evidence was or became null and void. أَدْحَضَ الْحُجَّةَ : He made the argument or plea null and void. لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ : That they might rebut (or make null and void or slippery and instable) the truth thereby )40:6( دَاحِضٌ : Slipping or slippery. )دَحْضُ plural and دَاحِضَةٌfeminine( حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ : Their plea or argument is slipping, infirm, null and void or futile )42:17( دَحْضُ الْأَقْدَامِ : Having no firmness or stability in their affairs. مُدْحَضِيْنَ ( مُدْحَضٌ plural) : Worsted rejected; thrown over; cast away; loser فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِيْنَ : He was of the losers, rejected, worsted, cast away (37:142). ]aor. يَدْحُوْ inf. noun دَعَا اللَّهُ الْأَرْضَ دَحْيَاءً : God has spread, spread out, expanded or extended the earth; made wide or ample. وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ دَهَا : And the earth along with it He has spread forth )79:31( دَاهَا also means, he compressed her, or lay with her. دَعَا الْبَطْنُ : The belly was or became large, distended, inflated. 28 دَخَرَ ]aor. يَدْخَرُ and دَخِرَ aor. دَخَرَ يَدْخَرُ and دَخِرَ : He was or became abject, mean despised, contemptible, humbled, or despicable. دَاخِرٌ ) دَاخِرُوْنَ and دَاخِرِيْنَ plural) : Abject, mean, contemptible or despicable. سَيَدْخُلُوْنَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِيْنَ : And they will enter Hell, despised )40:61(. دَخَلَ ]aor. يَدْخُلُ inf. noun دُخُولٌ and دَخَلَ مَدْخَلٌ : He or itentered, went got in as also دَخَلْتُ الدَّارَ أَوْ فِي الدَّارِ . إِدَّخَلَ : I entered the house. مَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ امنا : He who enters it is safe )3:98( ادْخُلُوْا فِى السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً : Enter ye into submission wholly )2:209( دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ : He visited him, called upon him; invaded or attacked him. وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَقْطَارِهَا : If entry were effected against them )33:15( وَدَخَلُوْا عَلَيْهِ فَعَرَفَهُمْ : And they entered in unto him; visited or called upon him or presented themselves before him and he knew them )12:59( إِذْ دَخَلُوْا عَلَى دَاوُدَ : When they thrust in upon David; came upon David suddenly )38:23( دَخَلَ بِامْرَأَتِهِ : He went into his wife. الَّتِي دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ : Unto whom you have gone in )4:24( دَخَلَ فِيهِنَّ : He entered among them so as to become a member of their party.
