خطئ خضع becomes green )22:64( اَحْضَرُ : Green; verdant; of dark colour; black; fresh; vigorous; of tawny or brownish colour; of a blackish hue inclining to green. خَضْرَاءُ )feminine(; شَجَرَةٌ خَضْرَاءُ : A green and fresh juicy tree. شَابٌ أَخْضَرُ : A young man whose hair has begun to grow upon the sides of his face. مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا : Fire out of the green tree )36:81( يَلْبَسُوْنَ ثِيَابًا خُصْرًا : They will wear green garments )18:32( خضرٌ is the plural of خَضِرٌ أَخْضَرُ : A place or land having much verdure; what is green; seed-produce; goodly green herbage or foliage. فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ حَضِرًا : We bring forth the green blade or foliage )6:100(. 28 28 خَضَعَ ]aor. يَخْضَعُ inf. noun 1) : خَضَعَ لَهُ خُضُوعٌ( He was or became lowly, humble or submissive to him. خُضُوْعٌ is nearly the same as خُشُوعٌ except that the latter is mostly used in relation to the voice or the eyes but the former is used as meaning "in the neck" or "in the body"; (2) he was or became still or submissive; (3) his speech was soft to a woman. خَضَعَ لَهَا بِكَلامِهِ وَخَضَعَتْ لَهُ : He was soft to her in speech and she was soft to him. خَضَعَ also means, he had a natural stooping of the neck. خَاضِعٌ )act. part. ): One who is humble, lowly or submissive: )حَاضِعِينَ or خَاضِعُوْنَ or خُضْعٌ are plurals(. خَضَعَتِ النَّجْمُ : The star inclined to the place of setting. خَضَعَهُ : He or it rendered him still. فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ : So that their necks will remain bowed before : A people very submissive in the necks. خَطَّ قَوْمٌ خَضَعُ الرِّقَابِ (26:5 it خُضْعٌ )and خَاضِعُونَ and خَاضِعِينَ are plurals) plural of خاضع and خَاضِعَةٌ and is applied to both men and women, meaning who are soft in speech. فَلا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ : So you be not soft of speech (33:33). ]aor. يَخْطُ inf. noun خَطَّ بِالْقَلَمِ [ خَطَّ : He wrote with the pen. حَطَّ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ : He made a mark or line upon the ground. خَطَّهُ بِالسَّيْفِ نِصْفَيْنِ : He cut him into two halves with the sword. وَلا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ : Nor didst thou write it with thy right hand )29:49(. خَطِيَّ ]aor. يَخْطَأُ inf. noun خَطَاءٌ[ : He did wrong; or committed a mistake or an error intentionally or unintentionally. خَطِى ]aor يَخُطُ inf. noun خِطْءٌ and خِطْأَةٌ[ : He committed a sin, a crime or 235
