خصم خص He distinguished him over others by the thing; he assigned the thing to him alone or exclusively of others خَصَّهُ بِالْوُةِ : He distinguished him by love. حَصَّهُ بكَذَا : He gave him such a thing in large quantity. خَصَّةً أَوْ اِخْتَصَّهُ لِنَفْسِهِ : He appropriated or took or chose him or it particularly for himself. اِخْتَصَّهُ also means, he treated him with partiality. اِخْتَصَّهُ لَهُ : It particularly belonged to him. خَصَّ )inf. noun خَصَاصَةٌ( : He was or became poor; in a state of poverty. وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ : And Allah chooses for His mercy whomsoever He pleases )2:106( لا تُصِيْبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْكُمْ خَاصَّةً : Will not smite exclusively those who have done wrong )8:26( خَصَاصَةٌ : An interstice or hole in a door and sieve, etc. ; a cloud or clouds; poverty, need; straitness or difficulty; an evil state of condition; thirst; hunger. يُؤْثِرُوْنَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ : But they prefer to themselves even though poverty be their own lot )59:10( خَصٌ syn with خَاصَّةٌ and plural خَوَاصُّ( : Choice select. خَوَاصٌ الناس : The distinguished people. یک خَصَفَ ]aor. يَخْصِفُ inf. noun خَصَفَ النَّعْلَ خَصْفٌ : He patched a sole; he mended it by sewing on another piece; he made anything double, putting one piece upon another; he faced it. خَصَفَ الْوَرَقَ عَلَى بَدَنِهِ : He covered his body by sticking the leaves together, one to another; خَصَفَ also means, he lied. وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ : And they covered themselves with the leaves of the garden (7:23). خَصِمَ ]aor. يَخْصَمُ inf. noun خَصْمٌ[ : He contended in an altercation, disputed or litigated in a valid manner. خَاصَمَهُ )inf. noun مُخَاصَمَةٌ and خِصَامٌ( : He contended with him in an altercation, disputed or litigated with him. خَاصَمْتُهُ فَخَصِمْتُهُ : I contended with him in an altercation or I disputed or litigated with him and overcame him in dispute or litigation. (inf. noun of خَصَمْتُهُ is اخْتَصَمُوا خَصْمٌ )aor. يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ is equal to يَخِصِّمُونَ( or تَخَاصَمُوا : They disputed or litigated with one another . اِخْتَصَمَا إِلَيْهِ : They applied to him for the decision of a case, each of them claiming the right. هذان خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوْا فِي رَبِّهِمْ : These two are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord )22:20( تَخَاصَمَ الْقَوْمُ : The people 233
