حفی حق solicitude; he manifested joy at meeting him; he asked much respecting his state. حَفِىَ عَنْهُ : He asked much respecting him and exceeded the usual bounds in doing so. حَفَابِهِ or حَفَا عَنْهُ : He honoured him; he denied him or refused to give him. اَحْفَاهُ : He made him to be barefooted; he made his feet chafed; he repeated it; he importuned him in asking the question. حَفِيَّ : Showing much honour and solicitude and manifesting joy at meeting another; asking or inquiring much about another man's state; going to the utmost length in questioning; knowing in the utmost degree; being importunate in inquiring. إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِنْ حَفِيًّا : He (God) is very kind or gracious to me; He knows much about me; He answers my prayers; He is considerate to me (19:48). كَانَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَا : Well-acquainted therewith; importunate in inquiring about it; knowing much about it )7:188( حُفَاةٌ ) حَافٍ plural): Barefooted. لگ حَقَّ ]aor. يَحُقُّ and يَحِقُّ inf. noun حَقًّا [ : It was or became suitable to the requirements of justice, wisdom or truth; it was or became just, proper, right, correct; it was or became authentic, genuine; it was or became established as a fact; it became binding, obligatory or incumbent or due. حَقَّ الْاَمْرَ : He established it as a fact; he believed it to be true and genuine. حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الضَّلَالَةُ : Perdition became their due )7:31( لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي : Verily, the word became due from Me )32:14( فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ : My punishment became due )38:15( يَحِقُّ عَلَيْكَ الْقَضَاءُ : The sentence became due on thee. حَقَّتِ الْحَاجَةُ : The want happened or was severe. يَحِقُّ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ كَذَا : It is obligatory or incumbent on thee that shouldst do this. مَا حُقَّ لَكَ : It does not become thee. حَقَّهُ : He rendered it suitable to the requirements of wisdom, justice etc; he rendered it binding, incumbent; he established it as a fact. يُحِقُّ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَتِهِ : Allah establishes the truth with His words )10:83( وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ : And listens to its Lord and it is incumbent on it or it suits it or it becomes it (84:3). حَقَّهُ حَقًّا : He prevailed upon him because of truth. اِسْتَحَقَّ : He demanded it as his right or due; he had a right or title or claim to it; he deserved or merited it. اِسْتَحَقَّ الدَّيْنُ : The debt has become due; 195 لگ
