حصن حصل )179( حَصِيرٌ =) مَحْصُوْرٌ( : One who is straitened or one who is besieged in a fortress; or one prevented or detained or confined or restrained from doing a thing; one suffering from constipation. حَصَلَ ]aor. يَحْصُلُ inf. noun حَصَّلَ حُصُوْلٌ : It came out or became apparent; it came into existence; it became realized; it came to pass, happened or took place or befell; it remained and continued. حَصَّلَ : He produced, extracted, or fetched out; he made a thing apparent; he prepared; he separated, discriminated or distinguished; he perceived a thing; he attained or obtained it; he took or got or acquired; he collected. حُصِّلَ مَا فِى الصُّدُورِ : And what is in the breasts shall be made manifest; or discriminated; or collected in the registers (100:11). حَصُنَ ]aor. يَحْصُنُ inf. noun حَصَانَةً and حِصْنًا and حُصْنًا[ : It was or became inaccessible; it was or became fortified or protected against attack. أَحْصِنَتْ أَوْ أَحْصَنَتْ أَوْ حَصُنَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ : The woman was or became chaste; or she abstained from what was unlawful or not decorous; she was or became married; she had a husband. حَصَانُ : A married, chaste, noble and free woman; a pearl or large-pearl. أَحْصَنَتْ also means she became pregnant as though pregnancy protected her from a man going into her. حَصَنَهُ أَوْ أَحْصَنَهُ : He guarded or preserved or defended or protected him or it. أَحْصَنَ الْمَرْأَةَ : He married the woman i. e. gave her in marriage. أَحْصِنَ الرَّجُلُ : The man was married. أَحْصَنَ : He married. الْعِفَّةُ تُحْصِنُ مِنَ الرِّيْبَةِ : Chastity preserves from suspicion أَحْصَنَهُ التَّزَوُّجُ : Marriage protected him from what was unlawful. فَإِذَا أَحْصِنَّ : And when they are married )4:26( وَالَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا : And the woman who guarded her chastity; who preserved her pudendum from what was unlawful; who was chaste (21:92). لِتُحْصِنَكُمْ مِنْ بَّاسِكُمْ : To protect you in your wars )21:81( إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّمَّا تَحْصِنَوْنَ : But little that you may preserve )12:49( إِحْصَانُ )in the case of a woman): To be free, noble and of sound intellect; to be validly married; to be chaste and of the age of puberty . تَحَصَّنَ : He entered the حِصْنٌ i. e. fortress or protected himself by it or 188
