بعث بطن child. مَاتَتْ فِي بَطْنٍ : She died in child-birth. (2) The inside of anything. بَبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ : In the valley (interior) of Mecca )48:25(. نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي : I have vowed to Thee what is in (the interior of my belly) my womb )3:36( أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ بُطُوْنِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ : He (God( brought you forth from the inside (i. e. wombs) of your mothers )16:9( بَطْنُ also means a low tract or portion of land. بَطْنُ السَّمَاءِ : The visible part of the sky. It also means the state of enlargement of the belly arising from satiety . مَاتَ بِالْبَطْنِ : He died of the disease of the belly. بَاطِنٌ : Hidden concealed; internal or inward part of a thing. بَاطِنُ الْاَمْرِ : The inward part of the affair; the secret thoughts; the inward recess of the mind. الْبَاطِنُ is one of the attributes of God meaning, He who knows the inward state of things; He also knows the secret of hidden things; He who is hidden from public view. وَهُوَ الظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ : He is the Manifest and the Hidden )574( وَذَرُوْا ظَاهِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَةُ : Eschew sins, open as well as secret )6:121( بَاطِئَةٌ )fem of بَاطِنٌ ( : hidden; secret. ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِئَةً : Both external and internal )31:21( بِطَانَةٌ )plural بَطَائِنُ( : Lining or inner covering of a garment; a secret that a man conceals; a special or intimate friend or associate بِطَانَتِي : He is my close, intimate or special friend. لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً : Take not as intimate friends )3:119( بِطَانَةُ الرَّجُلِ : The family of a man and his intimate associates; an inner vest. بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقِ : Linings of which will be of thick brocade )55:55( مَبْطُونٌ : Having a disease of the belly; one who dies of a disease of the belly. بَعَثَ ]aor. يَبْعَثُ inf. noun بَعْتُ and بَعَثَهُ بَعَتْ : He sent him as a messenger. بَعَشَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُوْلًاً : We sent (or raised) among every people a Messenger )16:37( فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ غُرَابًا : Allah sent a raven )5:32( 1) : بَعَثَهُ عَلَى الْأَمْرِ( He roused him or urged him or appointed him to do a thing. (2) he instigated him to do the thing. بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَلَاءَ : God sent upon them afflictions. بَعْضًا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَّنَا : We sent against you or appointed for you our servants )17:6(. فَابْعَثُوا حَكَمًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ : Then appoint an arbiter from his folk (4:36). (3) It also means, to rouse someone from sleep, as they say بَعَثَهُ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ : He roused him from sleep; (4) he roused 76
