بطن بطل nothing as a thing of no account. أَبْطَلَ شَهَادَتَهُ : He annulled his testimony; he proved or rendered it بَاطِلٌ )false vain(. أَبْطَلَ الرَّجُلُ : The man joked. لَا تُبْطِلُوْا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ : Render not vain your alms by taunt )2:265(. وَيُبْطِلُ الْبَاطِلَ : And He brings to naught that which is false )8:9( بَاطِلٌ )plural( اَبَاطِيْلُ( : False wrong spurious, vain, futile, void, null, ineffective, unsound, unfounded; a thing of no account; a thing that has perished or become lost. قَدْ قُلْتَ بَاطِلاً : You have spoken a lie, a falsehood; a vain deed or action or affair; belief in plurality of Gods; in play or sport or acting unprofitably . رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً : Our Lord, Thou hast not created this in vain )3:192( الَّذِيْنَ يَأْكُلُوْنَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ : Those who devour the wealth of people wrongfully )4162( زَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ : Falsehood has vanished away )1782( بَاطِلٌ also means a magician; the devil لَا يَأْتِيْهِ الْبَاطِلُ : Falsehood cannot approach it )41:43( مُبْطِلُوْنَ) مُبْطِلٌ plural) is act par from اَبْطَلَ and means: one who says a thing that is false; one who embellishes speech with lies; one who says or does false or vain things. وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُوْنَ : And then there perish those who uttered falsehoods (40:79) : Courageous or brave man; a hero; one the blood of whose adversaries goes unavenged. بَطَالٌ : A great liar. 28 بَطْنَ aor. يَبْطُنُ inf. noun 28 بَطْنَ بَطَنْ بَطَانَةٌ [ and بَطِنَ ]aor. يَبْطَنُ inf. noun : He was or became big in the belly in consequence of much eating. بَطِنَ : He was or became big in the belly in consequence of satiety, and disordered therein; he was or became much filled with food. بَطِنَ also means he exulted greatly and behaved insolently. بَطَنَ ]aor. يَبْطُنُ inf. noun 1) : بَطَنَهُ بَطْنٌ( He struck his belly; (2) it (a disease) entered into him or penetrated into his belly. بَطَنَ الْوَادِيَ : He entered the valley. بَطَنَ الْاَمْرَ : He penetrated into or knew the inward state of the affair بَطَنَ بِفُلانٍ أَوْ مِنْ فُلان : He became one of his intimate friends. بَطَنَ also means, it was or became hidden. مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ : Whether open or secret )6:152( أَبْطَنَ الشَّيْءَ : He concealed the thing أَبْطَنْتُ الرَّجُلَ : I made the man to be one of my intimate friends; I took him as my بطانة )close friend(. بَطْنٌ )plural( )1) : (بُطُوْنٌ( The belly or abdomen. ذُوالْبَطْنِ : What is in the belly. الْقَتْ ذَاتَ بَطْنِهَا : she brought forth a 75
