THE DESCENT OF THE MESSIAH که رو تابند از خوان محمد عجب دارم دل آن ناکسان را 43 [continued] Alas for the hearts of those unworthy ones; Who turn their backs upon the hospitality of Muhammadas. ندانم هیچ نفسی در دو عالم که دارد شوکت و شان محمد I know not of anyone in both the worlds Who has a station equal to Muhammadsas. خدا زان سینه بیزارست صدبار که هست از کینه داران محمد God is utterly displeased with the person Who bears a grudge against Muhammadsas. خدا خود سوزد آن کرم دنی را که باشد از عدوان محمد God Himself burns that worthless worm Which is among the enemies of Muhammadas. اگر خواهی نجات از مستی نفس بیا در ذیل مستان محمد If you wish to be delivered from the stupor of the lower self; Come and join the ranks of the lovers of Muhammadas. اگر خواهی که حق گوید ثنایت بشو از دل ثناخوان محمد If you desire that God should praise you; Become a true admirer of Muhammadas. اگر خواهی دلیلی عاشقش باش محمد هست برهان محمد If you desire proof of his truthfulness, become his lover: Muhammad himself is the proof of Muhammadas. سری دارم فدای خاک احمد دلم هر وقت قربان محمد My body craves to be sacrificed for the dust of Ahmad's feet; My heart is ever eager to die for Muhammadsas. روی به گیسوی رسول الله که هستم نثار تابان محمد By the tresses of the Prophet of God! My heart is always ready to die for Muhammadas. درین ره گر کشندم ور بسوزند نتابم رو ز ایوان محمد Cut me to pieces or burn me to death, I will not turn away from the court of Muhammadsas. به کار دین نترسم از جهانی که دارم رنگ ایمان محمد For the sake of faith, I fear no one in the world: For I am coloured after the faith of Muhammadas. 224
