وَمَا لِیَ لَاۤ اَعۡبُدُ الَّذِیۡ فَطَرَنِیۡ وَاِلَیۡہِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾

‘And what reason have I that I should not worship Him Who has created me, and unto Whom you will be brought back?

لَاۤ اُحِبُّ الۡاٰفِلِیۡنَ

I like not those that set.

لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ یَہۡدِنِیۡ رَبِّیۡ لَاَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

If my Lord guide me not, I shall surely be of the people who go astray.

یٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ

‘O my people, surely I am clear of that which you associate with God.

مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ

I am not of those who associate gods with God.

اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَہۡوٌ وَّزِیۡنَۃٌ وَّتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَیۡنَکُمۡ وَتَکَاثُرٌ فِی الۡاَمۡوَالِ وَالۡاَوۡلَادِ ؕ

Know that the life of this world is only a sport and a pastime, and an adornment, and a source of boasting among yourselves, and of rivalry in multiplying riches and children.

لَاۤ اُحِبُّ الۡاٰفِلِیۡنَ

I like not those that set.

لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ یَہۡدِنِیۡ رَبِّیۡ لَاَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

If my Lord guide me not, I shall surely be of the people who go astray.

یٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ

‘O my people, surely I am clear of that which you associate with God.

مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ

I am not of those who associate gods with God.

اِنَّمَا الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اِذَا ذُکِرَ اللّٰہُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ

True believers are only those whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned.

اِنَّہٗ سَمِیۡعٌ قَرِیۡبٌ

Verily, He is All-Hearing, Nigh.

وَہُوَ مَعَکُمۡ اَیۡنَ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِیۡرٌ ﴿۵﴾

And He is with you wheresoever you may be. And Allah sees all that you do.

وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ

And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I am near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he prays to Me.'

نَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِہٖ نَفۡسُہٗ ۚۖ وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ الۡوَرِیۡدِ ﴿۱۷﴾

We know what his physical self whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

لَا تُدۡرِکُہُ الۡاَبۡصَارُ ۫ وَہُوَ یُدۡرِکُ الۡاَبۡصَارَ ۚ وَہُوَ اللَّطِیۡفُ الۡخَبِیۡرُ ﴿۱۰۴﴾

Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes. And He is the Incomprehensible, the All-Aware.

قُلِ ادۡعُوا اللّٰہَ اَوِ ادۡعُوا الرَّحۡمٰنَ ؕ اَیًّا مَّا تَدۡعُوۡا فَلَہُ الۡاَسۡمَآءُ الۡحُسۡنٰی

Say, ‘Call upon Allah or call upon Rahman; by whichever name you call Him, His are the most beautiful names.’

تَبٰرَکَ اسۡمُ رَبِّکَ ذِی الۡجَلٰلِ وَالۡاِکۡرَامِ ﴿٪۷۹﴾

Blessed is the name of thy Lord, Master of Glory and Honour.

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ۙ﴿۳﴾

The Gracious, the Merciful,

مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Master of the Day of Judgment.

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help.

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ ﴿٪۷﴾

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.

لَاَقۡعُدَنَّ لَہُمۡ صِرَاطَکَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ

I will assuredly lie in wait for them on Thy straight path.

اِنَّمَا الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اِذَا ذُکِرَ اللّٰہُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ

True believers are only those whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned.

اِلَیۡہِ یَصۡعَدُ الۡکَلِمُ الطَّیِّبُ وَالۡعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ یَرۡفَعُہٗ

Unto Him ascend good words, and righteous work does He exalt.

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا ٜ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ ﴿۲۴﴾

They said, ‘Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves; and if Thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us, we shall surely be of the lost.’

رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ٭ۖ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ ﴿۴۱﴾

My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! bestow Thy grace on me and accept my prayer.

نَحۡنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمۡدِکَ

We glorify Thee with Thy praise.

لَّا یَعۡصُوۡنَ اللّٰہَ مَاۤ اَمَرَہُمۡ وَیَفۡعَلُوۡنَ مَا یُؤۡمَرُوۡنَ

Who disobey not Allah in what He commands them and do as they are commanded.

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَاۤ اِنَّنِیۡ مَعَکُمَاۤ اَسۡمَعُ وَاَرٰی ﴿۴۷﴾

God said, “Fear not; for I am with you both. I hear and I see.

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ ذِکۡرًا کَثِیۡرًا ﴿ۙ۴۲﴾

O ye who believe! remember Allah with much remembrance;

وَّسَبِّحُوۡہُ بُکۡرَۃً وَّاَصِیۡلًا ﴿۴۳﴾

And glorify Him morning and evening.

وَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَثِیۡرًا لَّعَلَّکُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ

And remember Allah much that you may prosper.

تِلۡکَ الدَّارُ الۡاٰخِرَۃُ نَجۡعَلُہَا لِلَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ عُلُوًّا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ

This is the Home of the Hereafter! We give it to those who desire not self-exaltation in the earth.

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَمَعَ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿٪۷۰﴾

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good.

وَاذۡکُرۡ رَّبَّکَ اِذَا نَسِیۡتَ وَقُلۡ عَسٰۤی اَنۡ یَّہۡدِیَنِ رَبِّیۡ لِاَقۡرَبَ مِنۡ ہٰذَا رَشَدًا ﴿۲۵﴾

And remember thy Lord when thou forgettest, and say, ‘I hope my Lord will guide me to what is even nearer than this to the right path.’

مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ فَاہۡدُوۡہُمۡ اِلٰی صِرَاطِ الۡجَحِیۡمِ ﴿ٙ۲۴﴾

Beside Allah; and lead them to the path of the Fire;

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوۡبَنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ ہَدَیۡتَنَا

‘Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us;

فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ یَّقُوۡلُ رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَمَا لَہٗ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ مِنۡ خَلَاقٍ

And of men there are some who say, ‘Our Lord, grant us good things in this world;’ and such a one shall have no share in the Hereafter.

وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّقُوۡلُ رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ﴿۲۰۲﴾

And of them there are some who say: ‘Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.’

لَیۡسَ عَلَی الضُّعَفَآءِ وَلَا عَلَی الۡمَرۡضٰی وَلَا عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَجِدُوۡنَ مَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَ حَرَجٌ اِذَا نَصَحُوۡا لِلّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ ؕ مَا عَلَی الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ مِنۡ سَبِیۡلٍ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿ۙ۹۱﴾

No blame lies on the weak, nor on the sick, nor on those who find naught to spend, if they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is no cause of reproach against those who do good deeds; and Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

وَّلَا عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اِذَا مَاۤ اَتَوۡکَ لِتَحۡمِلَہُمۡ قُلۡتَ لَاۤ اَجِدُ مَاۤ اَحۡمِلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ ۪ تَوَلَّوۡا وَّاَعۡیُنُہُمۡ تَفِیۡضُ مِنَ الدَّمۡعِ حَزَنًا اَلَّا یَجِدُوۡا مَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۹۲﴾

Nor against those to whom, when they came to thee that thou shouldst mount them, thou didst say, ‘I cannot find whereon I can mount you;’ they turned back, their eyes overflowing with tears, out of grief that they could not find what they might spend.

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.

رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ٭ۖ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ ﴿۴۱﴾

My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! bestow Thy grace on me and accept my prayer.

رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِوَالِدَیَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ یَوۡمَ یَقُوۡمُ الۡحِسَابُ ﴿٪۴۲﴾

Our Lord, grant forgiveness to me and to my parents and to the believers on the day when the reckoning will take place.

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَتۡلُوۡنَ کِتٰبَ اللّٰہِ وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ

Surely, only those who follow the Book of Allah and observe Prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ وَمَلٰٓئِکَتَہٗ یُصَلُّوۡنَ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ ؕ یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا صَلُّوۡا عَلَیۡہِ وَسَلِّمُوۡا تَسۡلِیۡمًا ﴿۵۷﴾

Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! you also should invoke blessings on him and salute him with the salutation of peace.

رَضِیَ اللّٰہُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَرَضُوۡا عَنۡہُ

Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him;

رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا

My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.

کُنۡتُمۡ خَیۡرَ اُمَّۃٍ اُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ

You are the best people raised for the good of mankind

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوۡبَنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ ہَدَیۡتَنَا وَہَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ رَحۡمَۃً ۚ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ ﴿۹﴾

‘Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us; and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely, Thou alone art the Bestower.

وَقُلۡ رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۱۱۹﴾

And say, ‘My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of those who show mercy.’

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.

لَا تُدۡرِکُہُ الۡاَبۡصَارُ ۫ وَہُوَ یُدۡرِکُ الۡاَبۡصَارَ ۚ وَہُوَ اللَّطِیۡفُ الۡخَبِیۡرُ ﴿۱۰۴﴾

قُلۡ لَّا تَمُنُّوۡا عَلَیَّ اِسۡلَامَکُمۡ ۚ بَلِ اللّٰہُ یَمُنُّ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اَنۡ ہَدٰٮکُمۡ لِلۡاِیۡمَانِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ

Say, ‘Deem not your embracing Islam a favour unto me. On the contrary, Allah has bestowed a favour upon you in that He has guided you to the true Faith, if you are truthful.’

وَوَصَّیۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ بِوَالِدَیۡہِ اِحۡسٰنًا ؕ حَمَلَتۡہُ اُمُّہٗ کُرۡہًا وَّوَضَعَتۡہُ کُرۡہًا ؕ وَحَمۡلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰثُوۡنَ شَہۡرًا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّہٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرۡبَعِیۡنَ سَنَۃً ۙ قَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وَالِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰہُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِیۡ فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚؕ اِنِّیۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶﴾

And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain. And the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months, till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, ‘My Lord, grant me the power that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as may please Thee. And make my seed righteous for me. I do turn to Thee; and, truly, I am of those who submit to Thee.’

فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِیَ کِتٰبَہٗ بِیَمِیۡنِہٖ ۙ﴿۸﴾

Then as for him who is given his book of record in his right hand,

فَسَوۡفَ یُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا یَّسِیۡرًا ۙ﴿۹﴾

He will soon have an easy reckoning,

وَہُمۡ عَلٰی صَلَاتِہِمۡ یُحَافِظُوۡنَ

And they keep a watch over their Prayer.
