فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ

Be not therefore of those who doubt.

اَلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۸﴾٪

It is the truth from thy Lord; be not therefore

وَمِنۡ حَيۡثُ خَرَجۡتَ فَوَلِّ وَجۡهَكَ شَطۡرَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۗ

And from wheresoever thou comest forth, turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque; for that is indeed the truth from thy Lord.

وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ

And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I

وَشَهِدُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱلرَّسُولَ حَقّٞ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُ ۚ

and who had borne witness that the Messenger was true and to whom clear proofs had come?

وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمۡ تَكُن تَعۡلَمُ ۚ وَكَانَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكَ عَظِيمٗا

Allah has sent down to thee the Book and Wisdom and has taught thee what thou knewest not, and great is Allah’s grace on thee.

قُلۡ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي

Say: ‘I take my stand on a clear evidence from my Lord and you reject it.

قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّیۡ وَکَذَّبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ مَا

Say: ‘I take my stand on a clear evidence from

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡقَادِرُ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَبۡعَثَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابٗا مِّن فَوۡقِكُمۡ أَوۡ مِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِكُمۡ أَوۡ يَلۡبِسَكُمۡ شِيَعٗا وَيُذِيقَ بَعۡضَكُم بَأۡسَ بَعۡضٍ ۗ

Say, ‘He has power to send punishment upon you from above you or from beneath your feet, or to confound you by splitting you into sects and make you taste the violence of one another.’

قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بَصَآئِرُ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ۚ فَمَنۡ اَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ

Proofs have indeed come to you from your Lord; so

كَمَا لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ

as they believed not therein at the first time,

ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ

So be thou not of those who doubt.

اَفَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡتَغِیۡ حَکَمًا وَّہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ اِلَیۡکُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا

Shall I seek for judge other than Allah, when He

وَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۗ

And when there comes to them a Sign, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of that which Allah’s Messengers have been given.’

وَیَسۡتَنۡۢبِئُوۡنَکَ اَحَقٌّ ہُوَ ؕؔ قُلۡ اِیۡ وَرَبِّیۡۤ اِنَّہٗ لَحَقٌّ ۚؕؔ

And they enquire of thee, ‘Is it true?’ Say, ‘Yea,

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوۡلِیَآءَ اللّٰہِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear,

الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَکَانُوۡا یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۶۴﴾

Those who believed and kept to righteousness —

لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ

For them are glad tidings in the present life and

لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ

For them are glad tidings in the present life and

قُلۡ هَٰذِهِۦ سَبِيلِيٓ أَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ

Say, ‘This is my way: I call unto Allah on sure knowledge,

لَّا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَذۡمُومٗا مَّخۡذُولٗا

Set not up with Allah another God lest thou sit down disgraced and forsaken.

۞وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنًا ۚ إِمَّا يَبۡلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلۡكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَوۡ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفّٖ وَلَا تَنۡهَرۡهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوۡلٗا كَرِيمٗا

Thy Lord has commanded, “Worship none but Him, and show kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, never say unto them any word expressive of disgust nor reproach them, but address them with excellent speech.

وَٱخۡفِضۡ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ ٱلذُّلِّ مِنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱرۡحَمۡهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرٗا

“And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, ‘My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.’”

وَإِن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحۡنُ مُهۡلِكُوهَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ أَوۡ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابٗا شَدِيدٗا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَسۡطُورٗا

There is not a township but We shall destroy it before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe punishment. That is written down in the Book.

وَمَا مَنَعَنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّرۡسِلَ بِالۡاٰیٰتِ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ کَذَّبَ بِہَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ

And nothing could hinder Us from sending Signs, except that

نُرۡسِلُ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّا تَخۡوِيفٗا اور کسی بات نے ہمیں نہیں روکا کہ ہم اپنی آیات بھیجیں سوائے اس کے کہ پہلوں نے ان کا انکار کردیا تھا۔ اور ہم نے ثمود کو بھی ایک بصیرت افروز نشان کے طور پر اُونٹنی عطا کی تھی۔ پس وہ اس سے ظلم کے ساتھ پیش آئے۔ اور ہم نشانات نہیں بھیجتے مگر تدریجاً ڈرانے کی خاطر۔ And nothing could hinder Us from sending Signs, except that the former

And We send not Signs but to warn.

وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرۡسِلَ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ

And nothing could hinder Us from sending Signs,

وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرۡسِلَ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ

And nothing could hinder Us from sending Signs,

خُلِقَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مِنۡ عَجَلٍ ؕ سَاُورِیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِیۡ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنِ ﴿۳۸﴾

Man is made of haste. I will certainly show you

وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ

And they ask thee to hasten on punishment,

وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَیۡہِ اٰیٰتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہٖ ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا

And they say, ‘Why are not Signs sent down to

اَوَلَمۡ یَکۡفِہِمۡ اَنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ یُتۡلٰی عَلَیۡہِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ

Is it not enough for them that We have sent

وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَکَ بِالۡعَذَابِ ؕ وَلَوۡلَاۤ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی لَّجَآءَہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ ؕ وَلَیَاۡتِیَنَّہُمۡ

They ask thee to hasten on the punishment; and had

قُلۡ لَّکُمۡ مِّیۡعَادُ یَوۡمٍ لَّا تَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ عَنۡہُ سَاعَۃً وَّلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ

Say, ‘For you is the promise of a day from

وَعَجِبُوۡۤا اَنۡ جَآءَہُمۡ مُّنۡذِرٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ ۫ وَقَالَ الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ ہٰذَا سٰحِرٌ

And they wonder that a Warner has come to them

سَنُرِيهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فِي ٱلۡأٓفَاقِ وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ ۗ

Soon We will show them Our Signs in all parts of the earth, and among their own people until it becomes manifest to them that it is the truth.

مَا کَذَبَ الۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَاٰی ﴿۱۲﴾

The heart of the Prophet was not untrue to that

مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

The eye deviated not, nor did it wander.

لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

Surely, he saw the greatest of the Signs of his Lord.

وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَیَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۳﴾

And if they see a Sign, they turn away and

وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَیَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۳﴾

And if they see a Sign, they turn away and

تَعۡرِفُ فِیۡ وُجُوۡہِہِمۡ نَضۡرَۃَ النَّعِیۡمِ ﴿ۚ۲۵﴾

Thou wilt find in their faces the freshness of bliss.
