• چشمہٴ معرفت

  • 2

    رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِیۡنَ

    O our Lord, decide Thou between us and between our people with truth, and Thou art the Best of those who decide.

  • 3

    بَعۡضُ الَّذِیۡ یَعِدُکُمۡ

    then some of that which he threatens you with will surely befall you.

  • 4

    وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلٰی مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الۡہُدٰی

    and peace shall be on him who follows the guidance;

  • 5

    وَلَمَنِ انۡتَصَرَ بَعۡدَ ظُلۡمِہٖ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ مَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡ سَبِیۡلٍ ﴿ؕ۴۲﴾

    But there is no blame on those who defend themselves after they have been wronged.

  • 8

    وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلٰی مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الۡہُدٰی

    and peace shall be on him who follows the guidance;

  • 15

    لَتُبۡلَوُنَّ فِیۡۤ اَمۡوَالِکُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ۟ وَلَتَسۡمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ وَمِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡۤا اَذًی کَثِیۡرًا ؕ وَاِنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا فَاِنَّ ذٰلِکَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ ﴿۱۸۷﴾

    You shall surely be tried in your possessions and in your persons and you shall surely hear many hurtful things from those who were given the Book before you and from those who set up equals to God. But if you show fortitude and act righteously, that indeed is a matter of strong determination.

  • 17

    خَلَقَ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ فَقَدَّرَہٗ تَقۡدِیۡرًا

    {He} has created everything, and has ordained for it its proper measure

  • 17

    لَہٗ مُلۡکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ

    His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth

  • 18

    خَلَقَ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ فَقَدَّرَہٗ تَقۡدِیۡرًا

    {He} has created everything, and has ordained for it its proper measure

  • 23

    اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّاۤ اِلَیۡہِ رٰجِعُوۡنَ

    ‘Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.’

  • 23

    وَمَاۤ اَصَابَکُمۡ مِّنۡ مُّصِیۡبَۃٍ

    And whatever misfortune befalls you

  • 24

    مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

    Master of the Day of Judgment.

  • 24

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِیۡنَ وَیُحِبُّ الۡمُتَطَہِّرِیۡنَ

    Allah loves those who turn to Him and loves those who keep themselves clean.

  • 24

    وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ یَقۡبَلُ التَّوۡبَۃَ عَنۡ عِبَادِہٖ وَیَعۡفُوۡا عَنِ السَّیِّاٰتِ

    And He it is Who accepts repentance from His servants, and forgives sins.

  • 24

    وَمَاۤ اَصَابَکُمۡ مِّنۡ مُّصِیۡبَۃٍ فَبِمَا کَسَبَتۡ اَیۡدِیۡکُمۡ وَیَعۡفُوۡا عَنۡ کَثِیۡرٍ ﴿ؕ۳۱﴾

    And whatever misfortune befalls you, is due to what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins.

  • 24

    وَمَنۡ یَّعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّۃٍ شَرًّا یَّرَہٗ ﴿٪۹﴾

    And whoso does an atom’s weight of evil will also see it.

  • 25

    رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَاۤ اِنۡ نَّسِیۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَخۡطَاۡنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَیۡنَاۤ اِصۡرًا کَمَا حَمَلۡتَہٗ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَۃَ لَنَا بِہٖ ۚ وَاعۡفُ عَنَّا ٝ وَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ٝ وَارۡحَمۡنَا

    Our Lord, do not punish us, if we forget or fall into error; and our Lord, lay not on us a responsibility as Thou didst lay upon those before us. Our Lord, burden us not with what we have not the strength to bear; and efface our sins, and grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us;

  • 25

    وَالَّذِیۡنَ اِذَا فَعَلُوۡا فَاحِشَۃً اَوۡ ظَلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ ذَکَرُوا اللّٰہَ فَاسۡتَغۡفَرُوۡا لِذُنُوۡبِہِمۡ ۪ وَمَنۡ یَّغۡفِرُ الذُّنُوۡبَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ ۪۟ وَلَمۡ یُصِرُّوۡا عَلٰی مَا فَعَلُوۡا وَہُمۡ یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۶﴾

    And those who, when they commit a foul deed or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins — and who can forgive sins except Allah? — and do not persist knowingly in what they have done.

  • 25

    اُولٰٓئِکَ جَزَآؤُہُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ

    It is these whose reward is forgiveness from their Lord

  • 25

    بَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوۡبَنَا وَاِسۡرَافَنَا فِیۡۤ اَمۡرِنَا

    ‘Our Lord, forgive us our errors and our excesses in our conduct.'

  • 25

    عَذَابِیۡۤ اُصِیۡبُ بِہٖ مَنۡ اَشَآءُ ۚ وَرَحۡمَتِیۡ وَسِعَتۡ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ

    I will inflict My punishment on whom I will; but My mercy encompasses all things;

  • 26

    قُلۡ یٰعِبَادِیَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَسۡرَفُوۡا عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُوۡا مِنۡ رَّحۡمَۃِ اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَغۡفِرُ الذُّنُوۡبَ جَمِیۡعًا

    Say, “O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls! despair not of the mercy of Allah, surely Allah forgives all sins.

  • 32

    خَیۡرُ الۡمٰکِرِیۡنَ

    {Allah is} the Best of planners.

  • 34

    حَقًّا عَلَیۡنَا نَصۡرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

    And it was certainly due from Us to help the believers.

  • 36

    سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ

    Glorified be Allah above all that which they attribute to Him!

  • 47

    لَیۡسَ کَمِثۡلِہٖ شَیۡءٌ

    There is nothing whatever like unto Him;

  • 62

    نَارُ اللّٰہِ الۡمُوۡقَدَۃُ ۙ﴿۷﴾

    It is Allah’s kindled fire,

  • 62

  • 75

    وَتَرَکۡنَا بَعۡضَہُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذٍ یَّمُوۡجُ فِیۡ بَعۡضٍ وَّنُفِخَ فِی الصُّوۡرِ فَجَمَعۡنٰہُمۡ جَمۡعًا ﴿ۙ۱۰۰﴾

    And on that day We shall leave some of them to surge against others, and the trumpet will be blown. Then shall We gather them all together.

  • 76

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 76

    وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰکَ اِلَّا رَحۡمَۃً لِّلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۸﴾

    And We have sent thee not but as a mercy for all peoples.

  • 76

    لِیَکُوۡنَ لِلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ نَذِیۡرَا ۙ

    that he may be a Warner to all the worlds —

  • 77

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 78

  • 80

    اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُۡ وَاَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ نِعۡمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسۡلَامَ دِیۡنًا ؕ

    This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.

  • 81

    وَاِذَا الۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۵﴾

    And when the she-camels, tenmonth pregnant, are abandoned,

  • 81

    وَاِذَا النُّفُوۡسُ زُوِّجَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۸﴾

    And when people are brought together,

  • 82

    وَاِذَا الۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۵﴾

    And when the she-camels, tenmonth pregnant, are abandoned,

  • 83

    فَسۡـَٔلُوۡۤا اَہۡلَ الذِّکۡرِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

    so ask those who possess the Reminder, if you know not.

  • 83

    وَتَرَکۡنَا بَعۡضَہُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذٍ یَّمُوۡجُ فِیۡ بَعۡضٍ وَّنُفِخَ فِی الصُّوۡرِ فَجَمَعۡنٰہُمۡ جَمۡعًا ﴿ۙ۱۰۰﴾

    And on that day We shall leave some of them to surge against others, and the trumpet will be blown. Then shall We gather them all together.

  • 84

    وَّعَرَضۡنَا جَہَنَّمَ یَوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ عَرۡضَا ﴿۱۰۱﴾ۙ

    And on that day We shall present Hell, face to face, to the disbelievers —

  • 84

    وَہُمۡ مِّنۡ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَّنۡسِلُوۡنَ

    and they shall hasten forth from every height.

  • 85

    ۣالَّذِیۡنَ کَانَتۡ اَعۡیُنُہُمۡ فِیۡ غِطَـآءٍ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِیۡ وَکَانُوۡا لَا یَسۡتَطِیۡعُوۡنَ سَمۡعًا ﴿۱۰۲﴾٪

    Whose eyes were under a veil so as not to heed My warning, and they could not even hear.

  • 85

    فَاَتۡبَعَہٗ شِہَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ

    and then there pursues him a piercing flame of fire.

  • 86

    وَہُمۡ مِّنۡ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَّنۡسِلُوۡنَ

    And they shall hasten forth from every height.

  • 86

  • 86

    غُلِبَتِ الرُّوۡمُ ۙ﴿۳﴾

    The Romans have been defeated,

  • 86

    فِیۡۤ اَدۡنَی الۡاَرۡضِ وَہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِہِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۴﴾

    In the land nearby, and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.

  • 87

    یُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡکَلِمَ عَنۡ مَّوَاضِعِہٖ

    who pervert words from their proper places

  • 89

    وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَکُمُ الطُّوۡرَ

    And raised high above you the Mount.

  • 90

    فَکَیۡفَ اِذَا جِئۡنَا مِنۡ کُلِّ اُمَّۃٍۭ بِشَہِیۡدٍ

    And how will it fare with them when We shall bring a witness from every people

  • 90

    وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اُمَّۃٍ الَّا خَلَا فِیۡہَا نَذِیۡرٌ

    And there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent.

  • 91

    ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی َدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

    He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions,

  • 97

    لَا تُدۡرِکُہُ الۡاَبۡصَارُ ۫ وَہُوَ یُدۡرِکُ الۡاَبۡصَارَ

    Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes.

  • 97

    اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یَحُوۡلُ بَیۡنَ الۡمَرۡءِ وَقَلۡبِہٖ

    Allah comes in between a man and his heart

  • 97

    اَللّٰہُ نُوۡرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ

    Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.

  • 97

    وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ فِی السَّمَآءِ اِلٰہٌ وَّفِی الۡاَرۡضِ اِلٰہٌ ؕ

    And He it is Who is God in heaven, and God on earth.

  • 97

    وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ الۡوَرِیۡدِ

    And We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

  • 97

    کُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡہَا فَانٍ ﴿ۚۖ۲۷﴾

    All that is on it (earth) will pass away.

  • 97

    وَّیَبۡقٰی وَجۡہُ رَبِّکَ ذُو الۡجَلٰلِ وَالۡاِکۡرَامِ ﴿ۚ۲۸﴾

    And there will remain only the Person of thy Lord, Master of Glory and Honour.

  • 97

    مَا یَکُوۡنُ مِنۡ نَّجۡوٰی ثَلٰثَۃٍ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَابِعُہُمۡ وَلَا خَمۡسَۃٍ اِلَّا ہُوَ سَادِسُہُمۡ

    There is no secret counsel of three, but He is their fourth, nor of five, but He is their sixth

  • 99

    لَنۡ یَّنَالَ اللّٰہَ لُحُوۡمُہَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُہَا وَلٰکِنۡ یَّنَالُہُ التَّقۡوٰی مِنۡکُمۡ

    Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that reaches Him

  • 102

  • 116

    وَمَکَرُوۡا وَمَکَرَ اللّٰہُ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ خَیۡرُ الۡمٰکِرِیۡنَ ﴿٪۵۵﴾

    And they planned, and Allah also planned; and Allah is the Best of planners.

  • 118

    وَلَا یَـُٔوۡدُہٗ حِفۡظُہُمَا ۚ وَہُوَ الۡعَلِیُّ الۡعَظِیۡمُ

    and He is the High, the Great.

  • 119

    اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ

    Verily, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then He settled Himself on the Throne

  • 119

    وَاسۡتَوَتۡ عَلَی الۡجُوۡدِیِّ

    And the Ark came to rest on al-Judi.

  • 119

    ہُوَ الۡاَوَّلُ وَالۡاٰخِرُ وَالظَّاہِرُ وَالۡبَاطِنُ ۚ

    He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden

  • 119

    وَہُوَ مَعَکُمۡ اَیۡنَ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ ؕ

    And He is with you wheresoever you may be

  • 120

    اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ ۚ اَلۡحَیُّ الۡقَیُّوۡمُ

    Allah — there is no God but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining.

  • 120

    وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ مُّحِیۡطًا

    And Allah encompasses all things.

  • 120

    اَللّٰہُ نُوۡرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ

    Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth

  • 120

    وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ فِی السَّمَآءِ اِلٰہٌ وَّفِی الۡاَرۡضِ اِلٰہٌ

    And He it is Who is God in heaven, and God on earth;

  • 120

    وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ الۡوَرِیۡدِ

    And We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

  • 120

    مَا یَکُوۡنُ مِنۡ نَّجۡوٰی ثَلٰثَۃٍ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَابِعُہُمۡ وَلَا خَمۡسَۃٍ اِلَّا ہُوَ سَادِسُہُمۡ

    There is no secret counsel of three, but He is their fourth, nor of five, but He is their sixth,

  • 124

    ثُمَّ اَنۡشَاۡنٰہُ خَلۡقًا اٰخَرَ ؕ فَتَبٰرَکَ اللّٰہُ اَحۡسَنُ الۡخٰلِقِیۡنَ

    then We clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

  • 124

    اِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَۃٍ اَمۡشَاجٍ

    We have created man from a mingled sperm-drop

  • 145

    اِنَّ ہٰذِہٖۤ اُمَّتُکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً ۫ۖ وَّاَنَا رَبُّکُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۹۳﴾

    Verily, this is your people — one people; and I am your Lord, so worship Me.

  • 146

    لِکُلٍّ جَعَلۡنَا مِنۡکُمۡ شِرۡعَۃً وَّمِنۡہَاجًا ؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ لَجَعَلَکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّلٰکِنۡ لِّیَبۡلُوَکُمۡ فِیۡ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮکُمۡ فَاسۡتَبِقُوا الۡخَیۡرٰتِ

    For each of you We prescribed a clear spiritual Law and a manifest way in secular matters. And if Allah had enforced His will, He would have made you all one people, but He wishes to try you by that which He has given you. Vie, then, with one another in good works.

  • 146

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنَّا خَلَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ وَّاُنۡثٰی وَجَعَلۡنٰکُمۡ شُعُوۡبًا وَّقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوۡا

    O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female; and We have made you into tribes and sub-tribes that you may recognize one another.

  • 147

    ظَہَرَ الۡفَسَادُ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ

    Corruption has appeared on land and sea

  • 148

    اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُم

    his day have I perfected your religion for you

  • 159

    وَیَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الرُّوۡحِ ؕ قُلِ الرُّوۡحُ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّیۡ وَمَاۤ اُوۡتِیۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡعِلۡمِ اِلَّا قَلِیۡلًا ﴿۸۶﴾

    And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, ‘The soul is by the command of my Lord; and of the knowledge thereof you have been given but a little.’

  • 162

    اَللّٰہُ یَتَوَفَّی الۡاَنۡفُسَ حِیۡنَ مَوۡتِہَا وَالَّتِیۡ لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِیۡ مَنَامِہَا ۚ فَیُمۡسِکُ الَّتِیۡ قَضٰی عَلَیۡہَا الۡمَوۡتَ وَیُرۡسِلُ الۡاُخۡرٰۤی اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّتَفَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۳﴾

    Allah takes away the souls of human beings at the time of their death; and during their sleep of those also that are not yet dead. And then He retains those against which He has decreed death, and sends back the others till an appointed term. In that surely are Signs for a people who reflect.

  • 164

    قُلِ الرُّوۡحُ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّیۡ وَمَاۤ اُوۡتِیۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡعِلۡمِ اِلَّا قَلِیۡلًا

    Say, ‘The soul is by the command of my Lord; and of the knowledge thereof you have been given but a little.’

  • 164

    ثُمَّ اَنۡشَاۡنٰہُ خَلۡقًا اٰخَرَ ؕ

    then We developed it into another creation.

  • 165

    وَخَلَقَ کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ فَقَدَّرَہٗ تَقۡدِیۡرًا

    And has created everything, and has ordained for it its proper measure.

  • 165

    کُلُّ شَیۡءٍ ہَالِکٌ اِلَّا وَجۡہَہٗ ؕ

    Everything will perish except Himself.

  • 165

    کُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡہَا فَانٍ ﴿ۚۖ۲۷﴾

    All that is on it (earth) will pass away.

  • 166

    اِنَّہٗ مَنۡ یَّاۡتِ رَبَّہٗ مُجۡرِمًا فَاِنَّ لَہٗ جَہَنَّمَ ؕ لَا یَمُوۡتُ فِیۡہَا وَلَا یَحۡیٰی ﴿۷۵﴾

    Verily, he who comes to his Lord a sinner — for him is Hell; he shall neither die therein nor live.

  • 166

    وَفِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ؕ اَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾

    And also in your own selves. Will you not then see?

  • 167

    اَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّکُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی ۚۛ

    by saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’

  • 170

    کَمَثَلِ حَبَّۃٍ اَنۡۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِیۡ کُلِّ سُنۡۢبُلَۃٍ مِّائَۃُ حَبَّۃٍ ؕ

    Is like the similitude of a grain of corn which grows seven ears, in each ear a hundred grains.

    یُلۡقِی الرُّوۡحَ مِنۡ امۡرِہٖ عَلٰی مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖ

    He sends the Word by His command to whomsoever of His servants He pleases

  • 189

    سُبۡحٰنَہٗ وَتَعٰلٰی عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ

    Holy is He and exalted far above what they attribute to Him!

  • 198

    اَفَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُوۡنَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ ؕ وَلَوۡ کَانَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ غَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ لَوَجَدُوۡا فِیۡہِ اخۡتِلَافًا کَثِیۡرًا ﴿۸۳﴾

    Will they not, then, meditate upon the Qur’an? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement.

  • 200

    وَمَکَرُوۡا مَکۡرًا وَّمَکَرۡنَا مَکۡرًا وَّہُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۱﴾

    And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, but they perceived it not.

  • 201

    وَکَانَ فِی الۡمَدِیۡنَۃِ تِسۡعَۃُ رَہۡطٍ یُّفۡسِدُوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَا یُصۡلِحُوۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾

    And there were in the city a party of nine persons who made mischief in the land, and would not reform.

    وَاَنۡجَیۡنَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَکَانُوۡا یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۵۴﴾

    And We saved those who believed and feared God.

  • 204

    اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ لَقَدِیۡرُ ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

    Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is made, because they have been wronged — and Allah indeed has power to help them.

  • 206

  • 206

    صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ ﴿٪۷﴾

    The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.

  • 206

    اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

    All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

  • 206

    الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ۙ﴿۳﴾

    The Gracious, the Merciful,

  • 206

    مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

    Master of the Day of Judgment.

  • 206

    اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

    Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help.

  • 208

    وَاعۡبُدُوا اللّٰہَ وَلَا تُشۡرِکُوۡا بِہٖ شَیۡئًا وَّبِالۡوَالِدَیۡنِ اِحۡسَانًا وَّبِذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی وَالۡیَتٰمٰی وَالۡمَسٰکِیۡنِ وَالۡجَارِ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی وَالۡجَارِ الۡجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالۡجَنۡۢبِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِیۡلِ ۙ وَمَا مَلَکَتۡ اَیۡمَانُکُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُحِبُّ مَنۡ کَانَ مُخۡتَالًا فَخُوۡرَا ﴿ۙ۳۷﴾

    And worship Allah and associate naught with Him, and show kindness to parents, and to kindred, and orphans, and the needy, and to the neighbour that is a kinsman and the neighbour that is a stranger, and the companion by your side, and the wayfarer, and those whom your right hands possess. Surely, Allah loves not the proud and the boastful,

  • 209

    وَقَضٰی رَبُّکَ اَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اِیَّاہُ وَبِالۡوَالِدَیۡنِ اِحۡسَانًا ؕ اِمَّا یَبۡلُغَنَّ عِنۡدَکَ الۡکِبَرَ اَحَدُہُمَاۤ اَوۡ کِلٰہُمَا فَلَا تَقُلۡ لَّہُمَاۤ اُفٍّ وَّلَا تَنۡہَرۡہُمَا وَقُلۡ لَّہُمَا قَوۡلًا کَرِیۡمًا ﴿۲۴﴾

    Thy Lord has commanded, “Worship none but Him, and show kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, never say unto them any word expressive of disgust nor reproach them, but address them with excellent speech.

  • 209

    وَاخۡفِضۡ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَۃِ وَقُلۡ رَّبِّ ارۡحمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا ﴿ؕ۲۵﴾

    “And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, ‘My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.’”

  • 209

    وَوَصَّیۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ بِوَالِدَیۡہِ اِحۡسٰنًا ؕ حَمَلَتۡہُ اُمُّہٗ کُرۡہًا وَّوَضَعَتۡہُ کُرۡہًا ؕ وَحَمۡلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰثُوۡنَ شَہۡرًا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّہٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرۡبَعِیۡنَ سَنَۃً ۙ قَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وَالِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰہُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِیۡ فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚؕ اِنِّیۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶﴾

    And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain. And the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months, till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, ‘My Lord, grant me the power that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as may please Thee. And make my seed righteous for me. I do turn to Thee; and, truly, I am of those who submit to Thee.’

    کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا

    Even as they nourished me in my childhood.

  • 211

    وَالۡوَالِدٰتُ یُرۡضِعۡنَ اَوۡلَادَہُنَّ حَوۡلَیۡنِ کَامِلَیۡنِ لِمَنۡ اَرَادَ اَنۡ یُّتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَۃَ ؕ وَعَلَی الۡمَوۡلُوۡدِ لَہٗ رِزۡقُہُنَّ وَکِسۡوَتُہُنَّ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ

    And mothers shall give suck to their children for two whole years; this is for those who desire to complete the suckling. And the man to whom the child belongs shall be responsible for their (the mothers’) food and clothing according to usage.

    اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُہٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیۡئًا اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلَ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ ﴿۸۳﴾

    Verily His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, ‘Be!,’ and it is.

  • 223

    وَّمَا مَسَّنَا مِنۡ لُّغُوۡبٍ

    And no weariness touched Us.

  • 224

    خَلَقَکُمۡ مِّنۡ نَّفۡسٍ وَّاحِدَۃٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡہَا زَوۡجَہَا وَاَنۡزَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ ثَمٰنِیَۃَ اَزۡوَاجٍ ؕ یَخۡلُقُکُمۡ فِیۡ بُطُوۡنِ اُمَّہٰتِکُمۡ خَلۡقًا مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ خَلۡقٍ فِیۡ ظُلُمٰتٍ ثَلٰثٍ ؕ

    He created you from a single being; then from that He made its mate; and He has sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in threefold darkness.

  • 227

    اِنَّ مَثَلَ عِیۡسٰی عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ کَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَ ؕ خَلَقَہٗ مِنۡ تُرَابٍ ثُمَ قَالَ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ ﴿۶۰﴾

    Surely, the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam. He created him out of dust, then He said to him, ‘Be!,’ and he was.

  • 228

  • 228

    فِیۡہَا تَحۡیَوۡنَ وَفِیۡہَا تَمُوۡتُوۡنَ وَمِنۡہَا تُخۡرَجُوۡنَ

    ‘Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, and therefrom shall you be brought forth.’

  • 228

    قُلۡ سُبۡحَانَ رَبِّیۡ ہَلۡ کُنۡتُ اِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُوۡلًا

    Say, ‘Holy is my Lord! I am not but a man sent as a Messenger.’

  • 228

    اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ کِفَاتًا ﴿ۙ۲۶﴾

    Have We not made the earth so as to hold

  • 228

    اَحۡیَآءً وَّاَمۡوَاتًا ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾

    The living and the dead?

  • 229

    فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّیۡتَنِیۡ کُنۡتَ اَنۡتَ الرَّقِیۡبَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ

    but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them;

  • 232

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ

    There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has become distinct from wrong.

  • 233

    وَاِنۡ اَحَدٌ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ اسۡتَجَارَکَ فَاَجِرۡہُ حَتّٰی یَسۡمَعَ کَلٰمَ اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ اَبۡلِغۡہُ مَاۡمَنَہٗ ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ لَّا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶﴾

    And if anyone of the idolaters ask protection of thee, grant him protection so that he may hear the word of Allah; then convey him to his place of security. That is because they are a people who have no knowledge.

  • 234

    وَاِذۡ یَمۡکُرُ بِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِیُثۡبِتُوۡکَ اَوۡ یَقۡتُلُوۡکَ اَوۡ یُخۡرِجُوۡکَ ؕ وَیَمۡکُرُوۡنَ وَیَمۡکُرُ اللّٰہُ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ خَیۡرُ الۡمٰکِرِیۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾

    And remember the time when the disbelievers plotted against thee that they might imprison thee or kill thee or expel thee. And they planned and Allah also planned, and Allah is the Best of planners.

  • 234

    اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ لَقَدِیۡرُ ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

    Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is made, because they have been wronged — and Allah indeed has power to help them.

  • 235

    قَالَتِ الۡاَعۡرَابُ اٰمَنَّا ؕ قُلۡ لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا وَلٰکِنۡ قُوۡلُوۡۤا اَسۡلَمۡنَا وَلَمَّا یَدۡخُلِ الۡاِیۡمَانُ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِکُمۡ

    The Arabs of the desert say, ‘We believe.’ Say, 'You have not believed yet; but rather say, "We have accepted Islam," for the true belief has not yet entered into your hearts.'

  • 238

    قَاتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَلَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰہُ وَرَسُوۡلُہٗ وَلَا یَدِیۡنُوۡنَ دِیۡنَ الۡحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ حَتّٰی یُعۡطُوا الۡجِزۡیَۃَ عَنۡ ‌یَّدٍ وَّہُمۡ صٰغِرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۹﴾

    Fight those from among the People of the Book who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor hold as unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have declared to be unlawful, nor follow the true religion, until they pay the tax with their own hand and acknowledge their subjection.

  • 238

    اِنَّ عِدَّۃَ الشُّہُوۡرِ

    The reckoning of months

  • 238

    مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوۡا مَا عَاہَدُوا اللّٰہَ عَلَیۡہِ ۚ فَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ قَضٰی نَحۡبَہٗ وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّنۡتَظِرُ ۫ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوۡا تَبۡدِیۡلًا ﴿ۙ۲۴﴾

    Among the believers are men who have been true to the covenant they made with Allah. There are some of them who have fulfilled their vow, and some who still wait, and they have not changed their condition in the least;

  • 239

    وَتَرٰی کَثِیۡرًا مِّنۡہُمۡ یُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِی الۡاِثۡمِ وَالۡعُدۡوَانِ وَاَکۡلِہِمُ السُّحۡتَ ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۶۳﴾

    And thou seest many of them hastening towards sin and transgression and the eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed is that which they practise.

  • 239

    لَوۡلَا یَنۡہٰہُمُ الرَّبّٰنِیُّوۡنَ وَالۡاَحۡبَارُ عَنۡ قَوۡلِہِمُ الۡاِثۡمَ وَاَکۡلِہِمُ السُّحۡتَ ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا کَانُوۡا یَصۡنَعُوۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾

    Why do not the divines and those learned in the Law prohibit them from uttering falsehood and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed is that which they do.

  • 239

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَسۡتُمۡ عَلٰی شَیۡءٍ حَتّٰی تُقِیۡمُوا التَّوۡرٰٮۃَ وَالۡاِنۡجِیۡلَ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ؕ

    Say, ‘O People of the Book! you stand on nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has now been sent down to you from your Lord.’

  • 241

    وَمِنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ مَنۡ اِنۡ تَاۡمَنۡہُ بِقِنۡطَارٍ یُّؤَدِّہٖۤ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ اِنۡ تَاۡمَنۡہُ بِدِیۡنَارٍ لَّا یُؤَدِّہٖۤ اِلَیۡکَ اِلَّا مَا دُمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِ قَآئِمًا ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَالُوۡا لَیۡسَ عَلَیۡنَا فِی الۡاُمِّیّٖنَ سَبِیۡلٌ ۚ وَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ الۡکَذِبَ وَہُمۡ یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۷۶﴾

    Among the People of the Book there is he who, if thou trust him with a treasure, will return it to thee; and among them there is he who, if thou trust him with a dinar, will not return it to thee, unless thou keep standing over him. That is because they say, ‘We are not liable to blame in the matter of the unlearned;’ and they utter a lie against Allah knowingly.

  • 241

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ الۡاَحۡبَارِ وَالرُّہۡبَانِ لَیَاۡکُلُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَیَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ یَکۡنِزُوۡنَ الذَّہَبَ وَالۡفِضَّۃَ وَلَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَہَا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ۙ فَبَشِّرۡہُمۡ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِیۡمٍ ﴿ۙ۳۴﴾

    O ye who believe! surely, many of the priests and monks devour the wealth of men by false means and turn men away from the way of Allah. And those who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah — give to them the tidings of a painful punishment,

  • 242

    ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُۡ قَالُوۡا لَنۡ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّاۤ اَیَّامًا مَّعۡدُوۡدٰتٍ ۪ وَغَرَّہُمۡ فِیۡ دِیۡنِہِمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۵﴾

    That is because they say, ‘The Fire shall not touch us, except for a limited number of days.’ And what they used to forge has deceived them regarding their religion.

    وَقُلۡ لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ وَالۡاُمِّیّٖنَ ءَاَسۡلَمۡتُمۡ ؕ فَاِنۡ اَسۡلَمُوۡا فَقَدِ اہۡتَدَوۡا ۚ وَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاِنَّمَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡبَلٰغُ

    And say to those who have been given the Book and to the unlearned, ‘Have you submitted?’ If they submit, then they will surely be guided; but if they turn back, then thy duty is only to convey the message.

    وَّالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ اِلَّا مَا مَلَکَتۡ اَیۡمَانُکُمۡ ۚ کِتٰبَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکُمۡ ۚ وَاُحِلَّ لَکُمۡ مَّا وَرَآءَ ذٰلِکُمۡ اَنۡ تَبۡتَغُوۡا بِاَمۡوَالِکُمۡ مُّحۡصِنِیۡنَ غَیۡرَ مُسٰفِحِیۡنَ

    And forbidden to you are married women, except such as your right hands possess. This has Allah enjoined on you. And allowed to you are those beyond that, that you seek them by means of your property, marrying them properly and not committing fornication.

  • 253

    فَکُّ رَقَبَۃٍ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

    It is the freeing of a slave.

  • 265

    وَکَذٰلِکَ اَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ ؕ فَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِہٖ ۚ وَمِنۡ ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ مَنۡ یُّؤۡمِنُ بِہٖ ؕ وَمَا یَجۡحَدُ بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِلَّا الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۸﴾

    And in like manner have We sent down the Book to thee, so those to whom We have given true knowledge of the Book believe in it (the Qur’an); and of these Meccans also there are some who believe in it. And none but the ungrateful deny Our Signs.

    جَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سَیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ

    The recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah.

  • 267

    اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحۡیِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا

    Know that Allah is now quickening the earth after its death.

  • 269

    لَا تَسۡجُدُوۡا لِلشَّمۡسِ وَلَا لِلۡقَمَرِ وَاسۡجُدُوۡا لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَہُنَّ

    Prostrate not yourselves before the sun, nor before the moon, but prostrate yourselves before Allah, Who created them.

  • 273

    اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ ۚ اَلۡحَیُّ الۡقَیُّوۡمُ ۬ۚ لَا تَاۡخُذُہٗ سِنَۃٌ وَّلَا نَوۡمٌ ؕ لَہٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِیۡ یَشۡفَعُ عِنۡدَہٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِہٖ ؕ یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَہُمۡ ۚ وَلَا یُحِیۡطُوۡنَ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّن عِلۡمِہٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ کُرۡسِیُّہُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ ۚ وَلَا یَـُٔوۡدُہٗ حِفۡظُہُمَا ۚ وَہُوَ الۡعَلِیُّ الۡعَظِیۡمُ ﴿۲۵۶﴾

    Allah — there is no God but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining. Slumber seizes Him not, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that will intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them; and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He pleases. His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth; and the care of them burdens Him not; and He is the High, the Great.

  • 273

    لَیۡسَ کَمِثۡلِہٖ شَیۡءٌ ۚ وَہُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡبَصِیۡرُ

    There is nothing whatever like unto Him; and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

  • 274

    اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ

    Verily, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then He settled Himself on the Throne

  • 276

  • 276

    لَیۡسَ کَمِثۡلِہٖ شَیۡءٌ

    There is nothing whatever like unto Him;

  • 277

    اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَیۡرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوۡنَہَا ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ

    Allah is He Who raised up the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then He settled Himself on the Throne.

  • 277

  • 288

    وَعَلَی الۡمَوۡلُوۡدِ لَہٗ رِزۡقُہُنَّ وَکِسۡوَتُہُنَّ

    And the man to whom the child belongs shall be responsible for their (the mothers’) food and clothing

  • 288

    وَعَاشِرُوۡہُنَّ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ

    and consort with them in kindness;

  • 290

    صَرۡحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّنۡ قَوَارِیۡرَ ۬ؕ

    It is a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass.

  • 290

    وَالشَّمۡسِ وَضُحٰہَا ۪ۙ﴿۲﴾

    By the sun and its growing brightness,

  • 290

    وَالۡقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰٮہَا ۪ۙ﴿۳﴾

    And by the moon when it follows it (the sun),

  • 292

    نِسَآؤُکُمۡ حَرۡثٌ لَّکُمۡ ۪ فَاۡتُوۡا حَرۡثَکُمۡ اَنّٰی شِئۡتُمۡ

    Your wives are a tilth for you; so approach your tilth when and how you like

  • 292

    لَّعۡنَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَی الۡکٰذِبِیۡنَ

    The curse of Allah on those who lie.

  • 295

    عۡنَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَی الۡکٰذِبِیۡنَ

    invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie.

  • 297

    یَاۡکُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَیَمۡشِیۡ فِی الۡاَسۡوَاقِ

    he eats food, and walks in the streets

  • 300

    اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّاۤ اِلَیۡہِ رٰجِعُوۡنَ

    ‘Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.’

  • 300

    قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۳﴾ۙ

    Say, ‘My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  • 302

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ وَمَلٰٓئِکَتَہٗ یُصَلُّوۡنَ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ ؕ یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا صَلُّوۡا عَلَیۡہِ وَسَلِّمُوۡا تَسۡلِیۡمًا ﴿۵۷﴾

    Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! you also should invoke blessings on him and salute him with the salutation of peace.

    الٓـمّٓ ۚ﴿۲﴾

    Alif Lam Mim.

  • 320

    فِیۡ بِضۡعِ سِنِیۡنَ ۬ؕ لِلّٰہِ الۡاَمۡرُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَمِنۡۢ بَعۡدُ ؕ وَیَوۡمَئِذٍ یَّفۡرَحُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۵﴾

    In a few years — Allah’s is the command before and after that — and on that day the believers will rejoice,

  • 321

    وَجُمِعَ الشَّمۡسُ وَالۡقَمَرُ ۙ﴿۱۰﴾

    And the sun and the moon are brought together,

  • 321

    یَقُوۡلُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ یَوۡمَئِذٍ اَیۡنَ الۡمَفَرُّ ﴿ۚ۱۱﴾

    On that day man will say, ‘Whither to escape?’

  • 321

    کَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ﴿ؕ۱۲﴾

    Nay! There is no refuge!

  • 321

    وَاِذَا الۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۵﴾

    And when the she-camels, tenmonth pregnant, are abandoned,

  • 321

    فَاِذَا بَرِقَ الۡبَصَرُ ۙ﴿۸﴾

    When the eye is dazzled,

  • 322

    وَاِذَا النُّفُوۡسُ زُوِّجَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۸﴾

    And when people are brought together,

  • 322

    وَاِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ ﴿۪ۙ۱۱﴾

    And when books are spread abroad.

  • 323

    وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ سُیِّرَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۴﴾

    And when the mountains are made to move,

  • 323

    وَاِذَا الۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ ﴿ۙ۴﴾

    And when the rivers are made to flow forth into canals,

  • 324

    فَاعۡتَبِرُوۡا یٰۤاُولِی الۡاَبۡصَارِ

    So take a lesson, O ye who have eyes!

  • 334

    یٰحَسۡرَۃً عَلَی الۡعِبَادِ ۚؑ مَا یَاۡتِیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾

    Alas for My servants! there comes not a Messenger to them but they mock at him.

  • 347

    فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَہُمۡ عَلٰی بَعۡضٍ

    We exalted, some of them above others

  • 347

    وَفَعَلۡتَ فَعۡلَتَکَ الَّتِیۡ فَعَلۡتَ وَاَنۡتَ مِنَ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿۲۰﴾

    ‘And thou didst do thy deed which thou didst, and thou art of the ungrateful.’

  • 376

    قُوۡلُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰہِ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡنَا وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلٰۤی اِبۡرٰہٖمَ وَاِسۡمٰعِیۡلَ وَاِسۡحٰقَ وَیَعۡقُوۡبَ وَالۡاَسۡبَاطِ وَمَاۤ اُوۡتِیَ مُوۡسٰی وَعِیۡسٰی وَمَاۤ اُوۡتِیَ النَّبِیُّوۡنَ مِنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ ۚ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَیۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡہُمۡ ۫ۖ وَنَحۡنُ لَہٗ مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۷﴾

    Say ye: ‘We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob and his children, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between any of them; and to Him we submit ourselves.’

    صِبۡغَۃَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَمَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ مِنَ اللّٰہِ صِبۡغَۃً ۫ وَّنَحۡنُ لَہٗ عٰبِدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳۹﴾

    Say, ‘We will adopt the religion of Allah; and who is better than Allah in teaching religion, and Him alone do we worship.’

  • 376

    وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اُمَّۃٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِیۡہَا نَذِیۡرٌ

    And there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent.

  • 377

    اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّہٖ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ؕ کُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَمَلٰٓئِکَتِہٖ وَکُتُبِہٖ وَرُسُلِہٖ ۟ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَیۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡ رُّسُلِہٖ ۟ وَقَالُوۡا سَمِعۡنَا وَاَطَعۡنَا ٭۫ غُفۡرَانَکَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَیۡکَ الۡمَصِیۡرُ ﴿۲۸۶﴾

    This Messenger of Ours believes in that which has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers: all of them believe in Allah, and in His angels, and in His Books, and in His Messengers, saying, ‘We make no distinction between any of His Messengers;’ and they say, ‘We hear, and we obey. We implore Thy forgiveness, O our Lord, and to Thee is the returning.’

  • 379

    ظَہَرَ الۡفََادُ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ

    Corruption has appeared on land and sea.

  • 382

    مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ قَصَصۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ لَّمۡ نَقۡصُصۡ عَلَیۡکَ

    of them are some whom We have mentioned to thee, and of them there are some whom We have not mentioned to thee

  • 387

    وَلۡیَعۡفُوۡا وَلۡیَصۡفَحُوۡا ؕ اَلَا تُحِبُّوۡنَ اَنۡ یَّغۡفِرَ اللّٰہُ لَکُمۡ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ

    Let them forgive and pass over the offence. Do you not desire that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

  • 388

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 388

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَالۡاِحۡسَانِ وَاِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی

    Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred

  • 388

    وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰکَ اِلَّا رَحۡمَۃً لِّلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۸﴾

    And We have sent thee not but as a mercy for all peoples.

  • 391

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُدٰفِعُ عَنِ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُحِبُّ کُلَّ خَوَّانٍ کَفُوۡرٍ ﴿٪۳۹﴾

    Surely, Allah defends those who believe. Surely, Allah loves not any one who is perfidious or ungrateful.

  • 391

    اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ لَقَدِیۡرُ ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

    Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is made, because they have been wronged — and Allah indeed has power to help them.

  • 392

    وَقَاتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ الَّذِیۡنَ یُقَاتِلُوۡنَکُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُعۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۹۱﴾

    And fight in the cause of Allah against those who fight against you, but do not transgress. Surely, Allah loves not the transgressors.

  • 393

    وَاِنۡ اَحَدٌ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ اسۡتَجَارَکَ فَاَجِرۡہُ حَتّٰی یَسۡمَعَ کَلٰمَ اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ اَبۡلِغۡہُ مَاۡمَنَہٗ ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ لَّا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶﴾

    And if anyone of the idolaters ask protection of thee, grant him protection so that he may hear the word of Allah; then convey him to his place of security. That is because they are a people who have no knowledge.

  • 393

    وَلَوۡلَا دَفۡعُ اللّٰہِ النَّاسَ بَعۡضَہُمۡ بِبَعۡضٍ لَّہُدِّمَتۡ صَوَامِعُ وَبِیَعٌ وَّصَلَوٰتٌ وَّمَسٰجِدُ یُذۡکَرُ فِیۡہَا اسۡمُ اللّٰہِ کَثِیۡرًا

    And if Allah did not repel some men by means of others, there would surely have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques, wherein the name of Allah is oft commemorated.

  • 393

    لَا یَنۡہٰٮکُمُ اللّٰہُ عَنِ الَّذِیۡنَ لَمۡ یُقَاتِلُوۡکُمۡ فِی الدِّیۡنِ وَلَمۡ یُخۡرِجُوۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ دِیَارِکُمۡ اَنۡ تَبَرُّوۡہُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوۡۤا اِلَیۡہِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحِبُّ الۡمُقۡسِطِیۡنَ ﴿۹﴾

    Allah forbids you not, respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you forth from your homes, that you be kind to them and act equitably towards them; surely Allah loves those who are equitable.

  • 394

    مَنۡ قَتَلَ نَفۡسًۢا بِغَیۡرِ نَفۡسٍ اَوۡ فَسَادٍ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ فَکَاَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِیۡعًا

    whosoever killed a person — unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land — it shall be as if he had killed all mankind;

  • 394

    وَاِنۡ جَنَحُوۡا لِلسَّلۡمِ فَاجۡنَحۡ لَہَا

    And if they incline towards peace, incline thou also towards it

  • 394

    اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ قَوۡمًا نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ وَہَمُّوۡا بِاِخۡرَاجِ الرَّسُوۡلِ وَہُمۡ بَدَءُوۡکُمۡ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ

    Will you not fight a people who have broken their oaths, and who plotted to turn out the Messenger, and they were the first to commence hostilities against you?

  • 395

    وَالۡکٰظِمِیۡنَ الۡغَیۡظَ وَالۡعَافِیۡنَ عَنِ النَّاسِ

    and those who suppress anger and pardon men;

  • 395

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 395

    اِدۡفَعۡ بِالَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَحۡسَنُ فَاِذَا الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَکَ وَبَیۡنَہٗ عَدَاوَۃٌ کَاَنَّہٗ وَلِیٌّ حَمِیۡمٌ

    Repel evil with that which is best. And lo, he between whom and thyself was enmity will become as though he were a warm friend.

  • 404

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُغَیِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتّٰی یُغَیِّرُوۡا مَا بِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ

    Surely, Allah changes not the condition of a people until they change that which is in their hearts.

  • 410

    یَجۡعَلۡ لَّکُمۡ فُرۡقَانًا

    He will grant you a distinction

  • 410

    لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ

    For them are glad tidings in the present life and also in the Hereafter.

  • 410

    وَاَیَّدَہُمۡ بِرُوۡحٍ مِّنۡہُ

    And whom He has strengthened with inspiration from Himself.

  • 411

    اِقۡتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ وَانۡشَقَّ الۡقَمَرُ ﴿۲﴾

    The Hour has drawn nigh, and the moon is rent asunder.

  • 411

    وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَیَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۳﴾

    And if they see a Sign, they turn away and say, ‘A passing feat of magic.’

  • 413

    وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سَیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ ؕ

    And the recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah.

  • 416

    وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی

    But whoso is blind in this world will be blind in the Hereafter

  • 423

    لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا

    For them are glad tidings in the present life

  • 424

    اُولٰٓئِکَ کَالۡاَنۡعَامِ بَلۡ ہُمۡ اَضَلُّ

    They are like cattle; nay, they are even more astray.

  • 424

    فَمِنۡہُمۡ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَمِنۡہُمۡ مُّقۡتَصِدٌ ۚ وَمِنۡہُمۡ سَابِقٌۢ بِالۡخَیۡرٰتِ

    And of them are some who are breaking down their own selves by suppressing their desires, and of them are some who keep to the right course, and of them are some who excel others in acts of goodness

  • 425

    جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

    {And as for those} who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

  • 426

    وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

    And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

  • 430

    لَا تُدۡرِکُہُ الۡاَبۡصَارُ ۫ وَہُوَ یُدۡرِکُ الۡاَبۡصَارَ

    Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes.

  • 434

    لَا تُدۡرِکُہُ الۡاَبۡصَارُ ۫ وَہُوَ یُدۡرِکُ الۡاَبۡصَارَ ۚ

    Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes.

  • 436

    جَآءَ الۡحَقُّ وَزَہَقَ الۡبَاطِلُ

    Truth has come and falsehood has vanished away

  • خدا کے تمام مقدس اخلاق کی پیروی کرو

  • 440

    اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

    All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

  • صرف اسرائیلیوں کا خدا

  • 441

  • خدا نے کسی قوم اور ملک کو فراموش نہیں کیا

  • 442

    وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اُمَّۃٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِیۡہَا نَذِیۡرٌ

    and there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent

  • اس کی پرستش کرو جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا۔

  • 454

    لَا تَسۡجُدُوۡا لِلشَّمۡسِ وَلَا لِلۡقَمَرِ وَاسۡجُدُوۡا لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَہُنَّ

    Prostrate not yourselves before the sun, nor before the moon, but prostrate yourselves before Allah, Who created them.

  • اسلام پاک اور صلح کار مذہب ہے

  • 459

    لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَیۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡہُمۡ ۫ وَنَحۡنُ لَہٗ مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ

    We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.

  • خدا کے گناہگار

  • 460

    وَلَا تَسُبُّوا الَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ فَیَسُبُّوا اللّٰہَ عَدۡوًۢا بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ

    And revile not those whom they call upon beside Allah, lest they, out of spite, revile Allah in their ignorance.

  • آنحضرت ﷺ کے وقت میں

  • 462

    ظَہَرَ الۡفَسَادُ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ

    Corruption has appeared on land and sea

  • اسلام کے جہاد کی حقیقت

  • 468

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ

    There should be no compulsion in religion.

  • بنی اسرائیل کی بھیڑوں کے لیے نبی

  • 469

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • تورات کے احکام

  • 471

    وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سَیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ

    And the recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah.

  • 472

    وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ ۙ فَلۡیَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡا لِیۡ وَلۡیُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِیۡ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَرۡشُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۷﴾

    And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I am near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he prays to Me. So they should hearken to Me and believe in Me, that they may follow the right way.’

  • 472

    فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَذِکۡرِکُمۡ اٰبَآءَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَشَدَّ ذِکۡرًا

    celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that.

  • 472

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ

    There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has become distinct from wrong.

  • 472

    اِنۡ تُبۡدُوا الصَّدَقٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا ہِیَ ۚ وَاِنۡ تُخۡفُوۡہَا وَتُؤۡتُوۡہَا الۡفُقَرَآءَ فَہُوَ خَیۡرٌ لَّکُمۡ ؕ وَیُکَفِّرُ عَنۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ سَیِّاٰتِکُمۡ

    If you give alms openly, it is well and good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you; and He will remove from you many of your sins.

  • 472

    اَلَّذِیۡنَ یُنۡفِقُۡنَ اَمۡوَالَہُمۡ بِالَّیۡلِ وَالنَّہَارِ سِرًّا وَّعَلَانِیَۃً فَلَہُمۡ اَجۡرُہُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہِمۡ ۚ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ ﴿۲۷۵﴾ؔ

    Those who spend their wealth by night and day, secretly and openly, have their reward with their Lord; on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

  • 472

    لَنۡ یَّنَالَ اللّٰہَ لُحُوۡمُہَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُہَا وَلٰکِنۡ یَّنَالُہُ التَّقۡوٰی مِنۡکُمۡ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ سَخَّرَہَا لَکُمۡ لِتُکَبِّرُوا اللّٰہَ عَلٰی مَا ہَدٰٮکُمۡ ؕ وَبَشِّرِ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿۳۸﴾

    Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that reaches Him. Thus has He subjected them to you, that you may glorify Allah for His guiding you. And give glad tidings to those who do good.

    اَکۡبَرُ ؕ قَدۡ بَیَّنَّا لَکُمُ الۡاٰیٰتِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ

    greater still. We have made clear to you Our commandments, if you will understand.

  • 474

    اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡنَ یُزَکُّوۡنَ اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ ؕ بَلِ اللّٰہُ یُزَکِّیۡ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ وَلَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ فَتِیۡلًا ﴿۵۰﴾

    Dost thou not know of those who hold themselves to be pure? Nay, it is Allah Who purifies whomsoever He pleases, and they will not be wronged a whit.

  • 474

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ وَاِذَا حَکَمۡتُمۡ بَیۡنَ النَّاسِ اَنۡ تَحۡکُمُوۡا بِالۡعَدۡلِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ نِعِمَّا یَعِظُکُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ کَانَ سَمِیۡعًۢا بَصِیۡرًا ﴿۵۹﴾

    Verily, Allah commands you to make over the trusts to those entitled to them, and that, when you judge between men, you judge with justice. And surely excellent is that with which Allah admonishes you! Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

  • 474

    مَنۡ یَّشۡفَعۡ شَفَاعَۃً حَسََۃً یَّکُنۡ لَّہٗ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّنۡہَا ۚ وَمَنۡ یَّشۡفَعۡ شَفَاعَۃً سَیِّئَۃً یَّکُنۡ لَّہٗ کِفۡلٌ مِّنۡہَا ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ مُّقِیۡتًا ﴿۸۶﴾

    Whoso makes a righteous intercession shall have a share thereof, and whoso makes an evil intercession, shall have a like portion thereof; and Allah is Powerful over everything.

  • 474

    وَمَنۡ یَّقۡتُلۡ مُؤۡمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُہٗ جَہَنَّمُ خٰلِدًا فِیۡہَا وَغَضِبَ اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡہِ وَلَعَنَہٗ وَاَعَدَّ لَہٗ عَذَابًا عَظِیۡمًا ﴿۹۴﴾

    And whoso kills a believer intentionally, his reward shall be Hell wherein he shall abide. And Allah will be wroth with him and will curse him and will prepare for him a great punishment.

  • 474

    وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا لِمَنۡ اَلۡقٰۤی اِلَیۡکُمُ السَّلٰمَ لَسۡتَ مُؤۡمِنًا ۚ

    And say not to anyone who greets you with the greeting of peace, ‘Thou art not a believer.’

  • 474

    وَمَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ دِیۡنًا مِّمَّنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡہَہٗ لِلّٰہِ وَہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ وَّاتَّبَعَ مِلَّۃَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ حَنِیۡفًا

    And who is better in faith than he who submits himself to Allah, and he is a doer of good, and follows the religion of Abraham

  • 474

    وَالصُّلۡحُ خَیۡرٌ

    And reconciliation is best.

  • 474

    وَلِلّٰہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّیۡنَا الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ وَاِیَّاکُمۡ اَنِ اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ ؕ وَاِنۡ تَکۡفُرُوۡا فَاِنَّ لِلّٰہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ غَنِیًّا حَمِیۡدًا ﴿۱۳۲﴾

    And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And We have assuredly commanded those who were given the Book before you, and commanded you also, to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve, then remember that to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

  • 475

    قُوۡلُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰہِ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡنَا

    Say ye: ‘We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us.'

  • 475

    فَاِنۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَاۤ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ بِہٖ فَقَدِ اہۡتَدَوۡا ۚ وَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاِنَّمَا ہُمۡ فِیۡ شِقَاقٍ

    And if they believe as you have believed, then are they surely guided; but if they turn back, then they are only creating a schism.

  • 475

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ وَالۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡ نَزَّلَ عَلٰی رَسُوۡلِہٖ وَالۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ وَمَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَمَلٰٓئِکَتِہٖ وَکُتُبِہٖ وَرُسُلِہٖ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًۢا بَعِیۡدًا ﴿۱۳۷﴾

    O ye who believe! believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed before it. And whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels, and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, has surely strayed far away.

  • 475

    وَقَدۡ نَزَّلَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ فِی الۡکِتٰبِ اَنۡ اِذَا سَمِعۡتُمۡ اٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ یُکۡفَرُ بِہَا وَیُسۡتَہۡزَاُ بِہَا فَلَا تَقۡعُدُوۡا مَعَہُمۡ

    And He has already revealed to you in the Book that, when you hear the Signs of Allah being denied and mocked at, sit not with them.

  • 475

    مَا یَفۡعَلُ اللّٰہُ بِعَذَابِکُمۡ اِنۡ شَکَرۡتُمۡ وَاٰمَنۡتُمۡ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ شَاکِرًا عَلِیۡمًا ﴿۱۴۸﴾

    Why should Allah punish you, if you are thankful and if you believe? And Allah is Appreciating, All-Knowing.

  • 475

    اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَرُسُلِہٖ وَیُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ یُّفَرِّقُوۡا بَیۡنَ اللّٰہِ وَرُسُلِہٖ وَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ نُؤۡمِنُ بِبَعۡضٍ وَّنَکۡفُرُ بِبَعۡضٍ ۙ وَّیُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ یَّتَّخِذُوۡا بَیۡنَ ذٰلِکَ سَبِیۡلًا ﴿۱۵۱﴾ۙ

    Surely, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and desire to make a distinction between Allah and His Messengers, and say, ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in others,’ and desire to take a way in between,

  • 475

    اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ حَقًّا ۚ وَاَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ عَذَابًا مُّہِیۡنًا ﴿۱۵۲﴾

    These indeed are veritable disbelievers, and We have prepared for the disbelievers an humiliating punishment.

  • 475

    رُسُلًا مُّبَشِّرِیۡنَ وَمُنۡذِرِیۡنَ لِئَلَّا یَکُوۡنَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَی اللّٰہِ حُجَّۃٌۢ بَعۡدَ الرُّسُلِ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا ﴿۱۶۶﴾

    Messengers, bearers of glad tidings and warners, so that people may have no plea against Allah after the coming of the Messengers. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

  • 476

    قُلۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُحِبُّوۡنَ اللّٰہَ فَاتَّبِعُونِیۡ یُحۡبِبۡکُمُ اللّٰہُ

    Say, ‘If you love Allah, follow me: then will Allah love you.'

  • 476

    اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُم وَاَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ نِعۡمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسۡلَامَ

    This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.

  • 476

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا کُوۡنُوۡا قَوّٰمِیۡنَ لِلّٰہِ شُہَدَآءَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ ۫ وَلَا یَجۡرِمَنَّکُمۡ شَنَاٰنُ قَوۡمٍ عَلٰۤی اَلَّا تَعۡدِلُوۡا ؕ اِعۡدِلُوۡا ۟ ہُوَ اَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوٰی ۫ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ خَبِیۡرٌۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹﴾

    O ye who believe! be steadfast in the cause of Allah, bearing witness in equity; and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah. Surely, Allah is aware of what you do.

  • 476

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّمَا الۡخَمۡرُ وَالۡمَیۡسِرُ وَالۡاَنۡصَابُ وَالۡاَزۡلَامُ رِجۡسٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ فَاجۡتَنِبُوۡہُ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ﴿۹۱﴾

    O ye who believe! wine and the game of hazard and idols and divining arrows are only an abomination of Satan’s handiwork. So shun each one of them that you may prosper.

  • 476

    قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۳﴾ۙ

    Say, ‘My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  • 476

    وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ یُرۡسِلُ الرِّیٰحَ بُشۡرًۢا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡ رَحۡمَتِہٖ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَقَلَّتۡ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقۡنٰہُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّیِّتٍ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا بِہِ الۡمَآءَ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِہٖ مِنۡ کُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نُخۡرِجُ الۡمَوۡتٰی لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾

    And He it is Who sends the winds as glad tidings before His mercy, till, when they bear a heavy cloud, We drive it to a dead land, then We send down water therefrom, and We bring forth therewith fruits of every kind. In like manner do We bring forth the dead that you may remember.

  • 476

    وَالۡبَلَدُ الطَّیِّبُ یَخۡرُجُ نَبَاتُہٗ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّہٖ ۚ وَالَّذِیۡ خَبُثَ لَا یَخۡرُجُ اِلَّا نَکِدًا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ نُصَرِّفُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّشۡکُرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۵۹﴾

    And as for the good land, its vegetation comes forth plentifully by the command of its Lord; and that which is bad, its vegetation does not come forth but scantily. In like manner do We vary the Signs for a people who are grateful.

  • 476

    وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا فِیۡ قَرۡیَۃٍ مِّنۡ نَّبِیٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَخَذۡنَاۤ اَہۡلَہَا بِالۡبَاۡسَآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَضَّرَّعُوۡنَ ﴿۹۵﴾

    And never did We send a Prophet to any town but We seized the people thereof with adversity and suffering, that they might become humble.

  • 476

    وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی

    But whoso is blind in this world will be blind in the Hereafter

  • 476

    قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ زَکّٰٮہَا ۪ۙ﴿۱۰﴾

    He indeed truly prospers who purifies it,

  • 476

    وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ دَسّٰٮہَا ﴿ؕ۱۱﴾

    And he who corrupts it is ruined.

  • 477

    ثُمَّ بَدَّلۡنَا مَکَانَ السَّیِّئَۃِ الۡحَسَنَۃَ حَتّٰی عَفَوۡا وَّقَالُوۡا قَدۡ مَسَّ اٰبَآءَنَا الضَّرَّآءُ وَالسَّرَّآءُ فَاَخَذۡنٰہُمۡ بَغۡتَۃً وَّہُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۹۶﴾

    Then We changed their evil condition into good until they grew in affluence and number and said, ‘Suffering and happiness betided our fathers also.’ Then We seized them suddenly, while they perceived not.

  • 477

    وَلَوۡ اَنَّ اَہۡلَ الۡقُرٰۤی اٰمَنُوۡا وَاتَّقَوۡا لَفَتَحۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمۡ بَرَکٰتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَلٰکِنۡ کَذَّبُوۡا فَاَخَذۡنٰہُمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡسِبُوۡنَ ﴿۹۷﴾

    And if the people of those towns had believed and been righteous, We would have surely opened for them blessings from heaven and earth; but they disbelieved, so We seized them because of that which they used to earn.

  • 477

    اَفَاَمِنَ اَہۡلُ الۡقُرٰۤی اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَہُمۡ بَاۡسُنَا بَیَاتًا وَّہُمۡ نَآئِمُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۹۸﴾

    Are the people of these towns, then, secure from the coming of Our punishment upon them by night while they are asleep?

  • 477

    اَوَاَمِنَ اَہۡلُ الۡقُرٰۤی اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَہُمۡ بَاۡسُنَا ضُحًی وَّہُمۡ یلۡعَبُوۡنَ ﴿۹۹﴾

    And are the people of these towns secure from the coming of Our punishment upon them in the early part of the forenoon while they are engaged in play?

  • 477

    یَاۡمُرُہُمۡ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَیَنۡہٰہُمۡ عَنِ الۡمُنۡکَرِ وَیُحِلُّ لَہُمُ الطَّیِّبٰتِ وَیُحَرِّمُ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡخَبٰٓئِثَ وَیَضَعُ عَنۡہُمۡ اِصۡرَہُمۡ وَالۡاَغۡلٰلَ الَّتِیۡ کَانَتۡ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ؕ فَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِہٖ وَعَزَّرُوۡہُ وَنَصَرُوۡہُ وَاتَّبَعُوا النُّوۡرَ الَّذِیۡۤ اُنۡزِلَ مَعَہٗۤ ۙ اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ

    He enjoins on them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful for them the good things and forbids them the bad, and removes from them their burden and the shackles that were upon them. So those who shall believe in him, and honour and support him, and help him, and follow the light that has been sent down with him — these shall prosper.

  • 478

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 478

    وَالَّذِیۡنَ یُمَسِّکُوۡنَ بِالۡکِتٰبِ وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ ؕ اِنَّا لَا نُضِیۡعُ اَجۡرَ الۡمُصۡلِحِیۡنَ ﴿۱۷۱﴾

    And as to those who hold fast by the Book, and observe Prayer, surely We suffer not the reward of such righteous people to perish.

  • 478

    اَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّکُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی ۚۛ

    by saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’

  • 478

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تَتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ یَجۡعَلۡ لَّکُمۡ فُرۡقَانًا وَّیُکَفِّرۡ عَنۡکُمۡ سَیِّاٰتِکُمۡ وَیَغۡفِرۡ لَکُمۡ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ ذُو الۡفَضۡلِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ ﴿۳۰﴾

    O ye who believe! if you fear Allah, He will grant you a distinction and will remove your evils from you and will forgive you; and Allah is Lord of great bounty.

  • 478

    اِنۡ اَوۡلِیَآؤُہٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُتَّقُوۡنَ

    Its true guardians are only those who are righteous

  • 478

  • 479

    وَاِنۡ یُّرِیۡدُوۡۤا اَنۡ یَّخۡدَعُوۡکَ فَاِنَّ حَسۡبَکَ اللّٰہُ ؕ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَیَّدَکَ بِنَصۡرِہٖ وَبِالۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۶۳﴾

    And if they intend to deceive thee, then surely Allah is sufficient for thee. He it is Who has strengthened thee with His help and with the believers;

  • 479

    اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ قَوۡمًا نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ وَہَمُّوۡا بِاِخۡرَاجِ الرَّسُوۡلِ وَہُمۡ بَدَءُوۡکُمۡ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ ؕ اَتَخۡشَوۡنَہُمۡ ۚ فَاللّٰہُ اَحَقُّ اَنۡ تَخۡشَوۡہُ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾

    Will you not fight a people who have broken their oaths, and who plotted to turn out the Messenger, and they were the first to commence hostilities against you? Do you fear them? Nay, Allah is most worthy that you should fear Him, if you are believers.

  • 479

    قُلۡ اِنۡ کَانَ اٰبَآؤُکُمۡ وَاَبۡنَآؤُکُمۡ وَاِخۡوَانُکُمۡ وَاَزۡوَاجُکُمۡ وَعَشِیۡرَتُکُمۡ وَاَمۡوَالُ ۣاقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوۡہَا وَتِجَارَۃٌ تَخۡشَوۡنَ کَسَادَہَا وَمَسٰکِنُ تَرۡضَوۡنَہَاۤ اَحَبَّ اِلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ وَجِہَادٍ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ فَتَرَبَّصُوۡا حَتّٰی یَاۡتِیَ اللّٰہُ بِاَمۡرِہٖ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ لَا یَہۡدِی الۡقَوۡمَ الۡفٰسِقِیۡنَ ﴿٪۲۴﴾

    Say, if your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your kinsfolk, and the wealth you have acquired, and the trade whose dullness you fear, and the dwellings which you love are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah comes with His judgment; and Allah guides not the disobedient people.

  • 479

    وَصَلِّ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ صَلٰوتَکَ سَکَنٌ لَّہُمۡ

    And pray for them; thy prayer is indeed a source of tranquillity for them.

  • 479

    اَلتَّآئِبُوۡنَ الۡعٰبِدُوۡنَ الۡحٰمِدُوۡنَ السَّآئِحُوۡنَ الرّٰکِعُوۡنَ السّٰجِدُوۡنَ الۡاٰمِرُوۡنَ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَالنَّاہُوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمُنۡکَرِ

    They are the ones who turn to God in repentance, who worship Him, who praise Him, who go about in the land serving Him, who bow down to God, who prostrate themselves in prayer, who enjoin good and forbid evil.

  • 480

    وَالۡحٰفِظُوۡنَ لِحُدُوۡدِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَبَشِّرِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

    And who watch the limits set by Allah. And give glad tidings to those who believe.

  • 480

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لِمَ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳﴾

    O ye who believe! why do you say what you do not do?

  • 480

    کَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴﴾

    Most hateful is it in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

  • 481

    وَحِیۡلَ بَیۡنَُمۡ وَبَیۡنَ مَا یَشۡتَہُوۡنَ

    And a barrier will be placed between them and that which they long for

  • 482

    مَثَلُ الۡجَنَّۃِ الَّتِیۡ وُعِدَ الۡمُتَّقُوۡنَ

    A description of the Garden promised to the righteous

  • 482

    قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ زَکّٰٮہَا ۪ۙ﴿۱۰﴾

    He indeed truly prospers who purifies it,

  • 482

    وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ دَسّٰٮہَا ﴿ؕ۱۱﴾

    And he who corrupts it is ruined.

    صُمٌّۢ بُکۡمٌ عُمۡیٌ فَہُمۡ لَا یَرۡجِعُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۹﴾

    They are deaf, dumb and blind; so they will not return.

    اَللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ حَیۡثُ یَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَہٗ

    Allah knows best where to place His Message.

  • 483

    اَلَا بِذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ الۡقُلُوۡبُ

    Aye! it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort;

  • 483

    وَلَذِکۡرُ اللّٰہِ اَکۡبَرُ

    And remembrance of Allah indeed is the greatest virtue.

  • 483

    وَّدَاعِیًا اِلَی اللّٰہِ بِاِذۡنِہٖ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِیۡرًا ﴿۴۷﴾

    And as a Summoner unto Allah by His command, and as a Lamp that gives bright light.

  • 484

    وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سَیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ

    And the recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah.
