  • 15

    وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡ ۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

    And surely, Messengers have been mocked at before thee; but I granted respite to those who disbelieved. Then I seized them, and how was then My punishment!

  • 15

    وَإِذَآ أَرَدۡنَآ أَن نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً أَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهَا تَدۡمِيرٗا

    And when We intend to destroy a township, We address Our commandment to its rebellious people, but they transgress therein; so the sentence of punishment becomes due against it, and We destroy it with utter destruction.

  • 15

    وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرٗا وَمَكَرۡنَا مَكۡرٗا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

    And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, but they perceived it not.

  • 15

    وَمَا کُنَّا مُہۡلِکِی الۡقُرٰۤی اِلَّا وَاَہۡلُہَا ظٰلِمُوۡنَ

    nor would We destroy the towns unless the people thereof are wrongdoers.

  • 28

    ۞مَا نَنسَخۡ مِنۡ ءَايَةٍ أَوۡ نُنسِهَا نَأۡتِ بِخَيۡرٖ مِّنۡهَآ أَوۡ مِثۡلِهَآ ۗ أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

    Whatever Sign We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than that or the like thereof. Dost thou not know that Allah has the power to do all that He wills?

  • 30

    وَہمۡ یَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ

    while they sought forgiveness.

  • 30

    فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ

    Then whoso does an atom’s weight of good will see it,

  • 42

    رَّبَّنَا ٱكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُونَ

    Then will the people cry: ‘Our Lord, remove from us the torment; truly, we are believers.’

  • 42

    إِنَّا كَاشِفُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمۡ عَآئِدُونَ

    We shall remove the punishment for a little while, but you will certainly revert to disbelief.

  • 43

    وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ٱلضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنۢبِهِۦٓ أَوۡ قَاعِدًا أَوۡ قَآئِمٗا فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُ ضُرَّهُۥ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمۡ يَدۡعُنَآ إِلَىٰ ضُرّٖ مَّسَّهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    And when trouble befalls a man, he calls on Us, lying on his side, or sitting, or standing; but when We have removed his trouble from him, he goes his way as though he had never called on Us for the removal of the trouble that befell him. Thus it is that the doings of the extravagant are given a fair appearance in their eyes.

  • 43

    حَتّٰۤی اِذَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِی الۡفُلۡکِ ۚ وَجَرَیۡنَ بِہِمۡ بِرِیۡحٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ وَّفَرِحُوۡا بِہَا جَآءَتۡہَا رِیۡحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّجَآءَہُمُ الۡمَوۡجُ مِنۡ کُلِّ مَکَانٍ وَّظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّہُمۡ اُحِیۡطَ بِہِمۡ ۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰہَ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ ۬ۚ لَئِنۡ اَنۡجَیۡتَنَا مِنۡ ہٰذِہٖ لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰکِرِیۡنَ

    when you are on board the ships and they sail with them with a fair breeze and they rejoice in it, there overtakes them (the ships) a violent wind and the waves come on them from every side and they think they are encompassed, then they call upon Allah, purifying their religion for Him, saying, ‘If Thou deliver us from this, we will surely be of the thankful.’

  • 43

    فَلَمَّاۤ اَنۡجٰہُمۡ اِذَا ہُمۡ یَبۡغُوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَیۡرِ الۡحَقِّ

    But when He has delivered them, lo! they begin to commit excesses in the earth wrongfully.

  • 45

    مَا کَانَ اللّٰہُ لِیُعَذِّبَہُمۡ وَاَنۡتَ فِیۡہِمۡ

    Allah would not punish them while thou wast among them

  • 56

    فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ

    Then whoso does an atom’s weight of good will see it,

  • 79

    وَلَنۡ یُّؤَخِّرَ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُہَا

    And Allah will not grant respite to a soul when its appointed time has come

  • 80

    لَنۡ یُّؤَخِّرَ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا

    Allah will not grant respite to a soul

  • 84

    یَبِیۡتُوۡنَ لِرَبِّہِمۡ سُجَّدًا وَّقِیَامًا

    spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing,

  • 85

    رَّبَّنَا ٱكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُونَ

    Then will the people cry: ‘Our Lord, remove from us the torment; truly, we are believers.’

  • 85

    إِنَّا كَاشِفُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمۡ عَآئِدُونَ

    We shall remove the punishment for a little while, but you will certainly revert to disbelief.

  • 90

    فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ

    But when We removed the punishment from them, behold! they broke their word.

  • 90

    إِنَّا فَتَحۡنَا لَكَ فَتۡحٗا مُّبِينٗا

    Verily, We have granted thee a clear victory,

  • 117

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُخۡلفُ الۡمِیۡعَادَ

    surely, Allah breaks not His promise.’

  • 118

    لَئِنۡ اَنۡجَیۡتَنَا مِنۡ ہٰذِہٖ لَنَکُۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰکِرِیۡنَ

    ‘If Thou deliver us from this, we will surely be of the thankful.’

  • 118

    فَلَمَّاۤ اَنۡجٰہُمۡ اِذَا ہُمۡ یَبۡغُوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَیۡرِ الۡحَقِّ

    But when He has delivered them, lo! they begin to commit excesses in the earth wrongfully.

  • 119

    وَوٰعَدۡنَا مُوۡسٰی ثَلٰثِیۡنَ لَیۡلَۃً

    And We made Moses a promise of thirty nights

  • 124

    رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِیۡنَ

    So O our Lord, decide Thou between us and between our people with truth, and Thou art the Best of those who decide.’

  • حاشیہ

  • 146

    وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ

    And I have not created the Jinn and the men but that they may worship Me.

  • 152

    ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

  • 153

    وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ

    And I have not created the Jinn and the men but that they may worship Me.

  • 154

    رَبُّنَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَعۡطٰی کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلۡقَہٗ ثُمَّ ہَدٰی

    ‘Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its proper form and then guided it to its proper function.’

  • میکس ملر کے شبہات اور وساوس کا ازالہ

  • 163

    وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَٰنِكُمۡ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡعَٰلِمِينَ

    And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colours. In that surely are Signs for those who possess knowledge.

  • المقَدمة

  • 183

    وَلِتُنۡذِرَ اُمَّ الۡقُرٰی وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا

    and to enable thee to warn the Mother of towns and those around her.

  • 188

    عَرَبِیٌّ مُّبِیۡنٌ

    this is Arabic tongue, plain and clear.

  • 188

    خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ

    He has created man.

  • 188

    عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ

    He has taught him plain speech.

  • 189

    ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ

    It is God, the Gracious

  • 189

    عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ

    Who has taught the Qur’an.

  • 189

    عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ

    He has taught him plain speech.

  • 191

    ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ

    The sun and the moon run their courses according to a fixed reckoning.

  • 207

    قُرۡءٰنًا عَرَبِیًّا

    the Qur’an in Arabic

  • 207

    لِتُنۡذِرَ اُمَّ الۡقُرٰی

    Mother of towns

  • 211

    عَلَّمَ اٰدَمَ الۡاَسۡمَآءَ

    He taught Adam all the names,

  • 233

    إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيۡتٖ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكٗا وَهُدٗى لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    Surely, the first House founded for mankind is that at Becca, abounding in blessings and a guidance for all peoples.

  • 233

    اِذۡ بَوَّاۡنَا لِاِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ مَکَانَ الۡبَیۡتِ

    remember the time when We assigned to Abraham the site of the House

  • ضیاءالحق

  • 249

    اََذَّبۡتُمۡ بِاٰیٰتِیۡ وَلَمۡ تُحِیۡطُوۡا بِہَا عِلۡمًا

    Did you reject My Signs, while you did not embrace them in your knowledge?

  • 256

    لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی

    man will have nothing but what he strives for

  • 285

    لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ

    There is none that can change the words of Allah

  • 308

    یٰعِیۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ

    O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death

  • 308

    فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّیۡتَنِیۡ

    but since Thou didst cause me to die

  • ہدایت

  • 332

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ

    There should be no compulsion in religion.

  • برہانِ اوّل

  • 334

    الٓمٓ

    Alif Lam Mim.

  • 334

    ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُ

    Allah is He beside Whom there is no God, the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining.

  • 334

    نَزَّلَ عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ بِالۡحَقِّ

    He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth

  • 334

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ بِالۡحَقِّ

    O mankind, the Messenger has indeed come to you with Truth

  • 334

    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَكُم بُرۡهَٰنٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَأَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ نُورٗا مُّبِينٗا

    O ye people, a manifest proof has indeed come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light.

  • 334

    قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ اِلَیۡکُمۡ جَمِیۡعَا

    Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah.'

  • 334

    وَبِالۡحَقِّ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ وَبِالۡحَقِّ نَزَلَ

    And in truth have We sent it down and with truth has it descended.

  • 334

    وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَءَامَنُواْ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ كَفَّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَأَصۡلَحَ بَالَهُمۡ

    But as for those who believe and do good works and believe in that which has been revealed to Muhammad — and it is the truth from their Lord — He removes from them their sins and improves their condition.

  • 336

    لِیَکُوۡنَ لِلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ نَذِیۡرَا ۙ

    that he may be a Warner to all the worlds —

  • 336

    ظَہَرَ الۡفَسَادُ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ

    Corruption has appeared on land and sea

  • 337

    کُنۡتُمۡ عَلٰی شَفَا حُفۡرَۃٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ

    you were on the brink of a pit of fire

  • 337

    یَدُسُّہٗ فِی التُّرَابِ

    bury it in the dust

  • 338

    اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحۡیِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا

    Know that Allah is now quickening the earth after its death.

  • 338

    وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ

    And when the girl-child buried alive is questioned about,

  • 338

    بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ

    ‘For what crime was she killed?’

  • 340

    وَلَا یَکُوۡنُوۡا کَالَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَطَالَ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡاَمَدُ فَقَسَتۡ قُلُوۡبُہُمۡ ؕ وَکَثِیۡرٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ

    and that they should not become like those who were given the Book before them and the term was prolonged for them, but their hearts were hardened, and many of them are wicked?

  • 340

    ٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ۚ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ

    Know that Allah is now quickening the earth after its death. We have made the Signs manifest to you, that you may understand.

  • 341

    قَدۡ بَیَّنَّا لَکُمُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ

    We have made the Signs manifest to you, that you may understand

  • 344

    اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُۡ وَاَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ نِعۡمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسۡلَامَ دِیۡنًا

    This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.

  • 354

    إِذَا جَآءَ نَصۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡفَتۡحُ

    When the help of Allah comes, and the victory,

  • 354

    وَرَاَیۡتَ النَّاسَ یَدۡخُلُوۡنَ

    And thou seest men entering

  • 355

    لَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٞ نَّفۡسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

    Haply thou wilt grieve thyself to death because they believe not.

  • 355

    فِیۡ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ اَفۡوَاجًا ۙ

    the religion of Allah in troops,

  • 355

    فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابَۢا

    Glorify thy Lord, with His praise, and seek forgiveness of Him. Surely He is Oft-Returning with compassion.

  • 357

    کَلِمَۃً طَیِّبَۃً کَشَجَرَۃٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ

    similitude of a good word? It is like a good tree,

    تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا

    Blessed is He Who has sent down the Discrimination to His servant, that he may be a Warner to all the worlds —

  • 361

    وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عُزَيۡرٌ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَى ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوۡلُهُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ ۖ يُضَٰهِـُٔونَ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ ۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ

    And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, the Messiah is the son of Allah; that is what they say with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before them. Allah’s curse be on them! How are they turned away!

  • 367

    اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحۡیِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا

    Know that Allah is now quickening the earth after its death.

  • نورالقرآن نمبر 2

  • 391

    وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ

    Nor does he speak out of his own desire.

  • 391

    إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيٞ يُوحَىٰ

    It is nothing but pure revelation that has been revealed by God.

  • 403

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا کُوۡنُوۡا قَوّٰمِیۡنَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ شُہَدَآءَ لِلّٰہِ وَلَوۡ عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ اَوِ الۡوَالِدَیۡنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبِیۡنَ

    O ye who believe! be strict in observing justice, and be witnesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or against parents and kindred.

  • 403

    فَاجۡتَنِبُوا الرِّجۡسَ مِنَ الۡاَوۡثَانِ وَاجۡتَنِبُوۡا قَوۡلَ الزُّوۡرِ

    Shun therefore the abomination of idols, and shun all words of untruth,

  • 409

    لَا یَجۡرِمَنَّکُمۡ شَنَاٰنُ قَوۡمٍ عَلٰۤی اَلَّا تَعۡدِلُوۡا ؕ اِعۡدِلُوۡا ۟ ہُوَ اَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوٰی

    let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness

  • 411

    فَمَنۡ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ فَقُلۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ نَدۡعُ أَبۡنَآءَنَا وَأَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمۡ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمۡ ثُمَّ نَبۡتَهِلۡ فَنَجۡعَل لَّعۡنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

    Now whoso disputes with thee concerning him, after what has come to thee of knowledge, say to him, ‘Come, let us call our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and our people and your people; then let us pray fervently and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie.’

  • 411

    اِلَّا مَنۡ اُکۡرِہَ وَقَلۡبُہٗ مُطۡمَئِنٌّۢ بِالۡاِیۡمَانِ

    save him who is forced thereto while his heart finds peace in the faith

  • 412

    ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا فُتِنُواْ ثُمَّ جَٰهَدُواْ وَصَبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

    Then, surely, thy Lord — to those who fled their homes after they had been persecuted and then struggled hard in the cause of Allah and remained steadfast — aye, surely, after that thy Lord is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

  • 415

    ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ فِيهِۛ هُدٗى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

    This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous,

  • 416

    قُلۡ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ یَغُضُّوۡا مِنۡ اَبۡصَارِہِمۡ وَیَحۡفَظُوۡا فُرُوۡجَہُمۡ ؕ ذٰلِکَ اَزۡکٰی لَہُمۡ ؕ

    Say to the believing men that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts. That is purer for them.

  • 427

    وَلٰکِنۡ یُّؤَاخِذُکُمۡ بِمَا کَسَبَتۡ قُلُوۡبُکُمۡ

    but He will call you to account for what your hearts have earned

  • 427

    اِنَّ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡبَصَرَ وَالۡفُؤَادَ کُلُّ اُولٰٓئِک کَانَ عَنۡہُ مَسۡـُٔوۡلً

    Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.

  • 428

    قُلۡ اِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّیَ الۡفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَہَرَ مِنۡہَا وَمَا بَطَنَ

    Say, ‘My Lord has only forbidden foul deeds, whether open or secret, and sin and wrongful transgression

  • 430

    اُشۡرِبُوۡا فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمُ الۡعِجۡلَ

    their hearts were permeated with the love of the calf

    عَزِیۡزٌ عَلَیۡہِ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ حَرِیۡصٌ عَلَیۡکُمۡ

    grievous to him is that you should fall into trouble; he is ardently desirous of your welfare

  • 433

    لَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٞ نَّفۡسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

    Haply thou wilt grieve thyself to death because they believe not.

  • 433

    تَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡمَرۡحَمَۃِ

    exhort one another to perseverance and exhort one another to mercy.

  • 434

    وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّٰہِ

    But those who believe are stronger in their love for Allah

  • 434

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡا بِطَانَۃً مِّنۡ دُوۡنِکُمۡ

    O ye who believe! take not others than your own people as intimate friends

  • 434

    یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الۡیَہُوۡدَ وَالنَّصٰرٰۤی اَوۡلِیَآءَ

    O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for friends

  • 434

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَالۡاِحۡسَانِ وَاِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی

    Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred

  • 435

    لَّا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمۡ يُخۡرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ

    Allah forbids you not, respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you forth from your homes, that you be kind to them and act equitably towards them; surely Allah loves those who are equitable.

  • 435

    إِنَّمَا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ قَٰتَلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَأَخۡرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ وَظَٰهَرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ إِخۡرَاجِكُمۡ أَن تَوَلَّوۡهُمۡ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمۡ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

    Allah only forbids you, respecting those who have fought against you on account of your religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and have helped others in driving you out, that you make friends of them, and whosoever makes friends of them — it is these that are the transgressors.

  • 436

    وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّٰہِ

    But those who believe are stronger in their love for Allah

  • 436

    فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَذِکۡرِکُمۡ اٰبَآءَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَشَدَّ ذِکۡرًا

    elebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that

  • 436

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَالۡاِحۡسَانِ وَاِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی

    Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred

  • 436

    حَبَّبَ اِلَیۡکُمُ الۡاِیۡمَانَ وَزَیَّنَہٗ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِکُمۡ

    endeared the faith to you and has made it look beautiful to your hearts

  • 440

    بَلَىٰ ۚ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجۡرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ

    Nay, whoever submits himself completely to Allah, and is the doer of good, shall have his reward with his Lord. No fear shall come upon such, neither shall they grieve.

  • 440

    فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَذِکۡرِکُمۡ اٰبَآءَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَشَدَّ ذِکۡرًا

    celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that.

  • 440

    وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡرِي نَفۡسَهُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

    And of men there is he who would sell himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is Compassionate to His servants.

  • 440

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَالۡاِحۡسَانِ وَاِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی

    Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred

  • 440

    وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينٗا وَيَتِيمٗا وَأَسِيرًا

    And they feed, for love of Him, the poor, the orphan, and the prisoner,

  • 440

    اِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُکُمۡ لِوَجۡہِ اللّٰہِ لَا نُرِیۡدُ مِنۡکُمۡ

    Saying, ‘We feed you for Allah’s pleasure only. We desire no reward

  • 441

    جَزَآءً وَّلَا شُکُوۡرًا

    nor thanks from you.

  • 443

    ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ

    Guide us in the right path —

  • 443

    صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

    The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.

  • 446

    اِنَّ اَکۡرَمَکُمۡ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ اَتۡقٰکُمۡ

    Verily, the most honourable among you, in the sight of Allah, is he who is the most righteous among you.

  • 452

    خَتَمَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ وَعَلٰی سَمۡعِہِمۡ ؕ وَعَلٰۤی اَبۡصَارِہِمۡ غِشَاوَۃٌ

    Allah has set a seal on their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes is a covering

  • اسلام کے ساتھ موازنہ

  • 486

    اَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّکُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی

    Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea

  • 487

    اِنۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ اِلَّا یُسَبِّحُ بِحَمۡدِہٖ

    there is not a thing but glorifies Him with His praise;

  • 492

    ہُوَ مَعَکُمۡ اَیۡنَ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ

    He is with you wheresoever you may be

  • 492

    اَیۡنَمَا تُوَلُّوۡا فَثَمَّ وَجۡہُ اللّٰہِ

    withersoever you turn, there will be the face of Allah

  • 492

    نَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ الۡوَرِیۡدِ

    We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.
