وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

And verily, We gave the children of Israel the Book, and sovereignty, and prophethood; and We provided them with good and pure things, and We exalted them over the peoples of the time.

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ ۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ

And We gave them clear Signs regarding this affair. And they did not differ but after true knowledge had come to them, through mutual envy. Verily, thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differed.

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

Then We set thee on a clear path in the matter of religion; so follow it, and follow not the evil inclinations of those who know not.

وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ دِينٗا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

And whoso seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the life to come he shall be among the losers.

ہُدًی وَّنُوۡرٌ ۙ وَّمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ مِنَ التَّوۡرٰٮۃِ وَہُدًی وَّمَوۡعِظَۃً لِّلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ

which contained guidance and light, fulfilling that which was revealed before it in the Torah, and a guidance and an admonition for the God-fearing.

وَلۡیَحۡکُمۡ اَہۡلُ الۡاِنۡجِیۡلِ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ فِیۡہِ

And let the People of the Gospel judge according to what Allah has revealed therein

اِنَّ الدِّیۡنَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ الۡاِسۡلَامُ

Surely, the true religion with Allah is Islam (complete submission).

وَلَوۡ کَانَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ غَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ لَوَجَدوۡا فِیۡہِ اخۡتِلَافًا کَثِیۡرًا

Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement.

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی ودِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions

سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَسۡرٰی بِعَبۡدِہٖ لَیۡلًا مِّنَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ اِلَی الۡمَسۡجِدِ

Glory be to Him Who carried His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Distant

الۡاَقۡصَا الَّذِیۡ بٰرَکۡنَا حَوۡلَہٗ

Mosque, the environs of which We have blessed

وَّاٰخَرِیۡنَ مِنۡہُمۡ لَمَّا یَلۡحَقُوۡا بِہِمۡ

And among others from among them who have not yet joined them

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحۡيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Say, ‘My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ

Allah has promised to those among you who believe

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings,

وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ

Allah has promised to those among you who believe.

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings,

وَقُلۡ رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمًا

say, ‘O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.’

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.

لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

Which none shall touch except those who are purified.

فَیَنۡظُرَ کَیۡفَ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ

that He may then see how you act.’

مَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِ الرُّسُلُ

Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed away before him

اِنِّیۡۤ اَعۡلَمُ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

I know what you know not.

وَّاٰخَرِیۡنَ مِنۡہُمۡ لَمَّا یَلۡحَقُوۡا بِہِمۡ

And among others from among them who have not yet joined them

اِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّکَ لِلۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ اِنِّیۡ جَاعِلٌ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ خَلِیۡفَۃً

when thy Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to place a vicegerent in the earth

اِنَّاۤ

Surely

لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ

He may cause it to prevail over all religions

اَعۡطَیۡنٰکَ الۡکَوۡثَرَ ؕ

We have given thee abundance of good;

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی

He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance

وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions,

وَلَقَدۡ نَصَرَکُمُ اللّٰہُ بِبَدۡرٍ وَّاَنۡتُمۡ اَذِلَّۃٌ

And Allah had already helped you at Badr when you were weak.

وَتَرَکۡنَا بَعۡضَہُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذٍ یَّمُوۡجُ فِیۡ بَعۡضٍ

And on that day We shall leave some of them to surge against others,

حَتّٰۤی اِذَا فُتِحَتۡ یَاۡجُوۡجُ وَمَاۡجُوۡجُ

It shall be so even when Gog and Magog are let loose

اَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اَنۡ یَّتَّخِذُوۡا عِبَادِیۡ مِنۡ دُوۡنِیۡۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ

o the disbelievers think that they can take My servants as protectors instead of Me?

قُلۡ هَلۡ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِٱلۡأَخۡسَرِينَ أَعۡمَٰلًا

Say, ‘Shall We tell you of those who are the greatest losers in respect of their works? —

ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعۡيُهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا

‘Those whose labour is all lost in search after things pertaining to the life of this world, and they think that they are doing good works.’

قُلۡ لَّوۡ کَانَ الۡبَحۡرُ مِدَادًا لِّکَلِمٰتِ رَبِّیۡ

Say, ‘If the ocean became ink for the words of my Lord

وَمَرۡیَمَ ابۡنَتَ عِمۡرٰنَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَہَا فَنَفَخۡنَا

And the example of Mary, the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her private parts

وَّنُفِخَ فِی الصُّوۡرِ فَجَمَعۡنٰہُمۡ جَمۡعًا

and the trumpet will be blown. Then shall We gather them all together.

وَّنُفِخَ فِی الصُّوۡرِ فَجَمَعۡنٰہُمۡ جَمۡعًا

and the trumpet will be blown. Then shall We gather them all together.

سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَسۡرٰی

Glory be to Him Who carried His servant by night

بِعَبۡدِہٖ لَیۡلًا مِّنَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ اِلَی الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡاَقۡصَا الَّذِیۡ بٰرَکۡنَا حَوۡلَہٗ

from the Sacred Mosque to the Distant Mosque, the environs of which We have blessed

اِنَّکَ مِنَ الۡمُنۡظَرِیۡنَ

Thou shalt be of those who are given respite.’

فَنَفَخۡنَا فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رُّوۡحِنَا

so We breathed into him of Our Spirit

وَّاٰخَرِیۡنَ مِنۡہُمۡ

And among others from among them

ولٰکِنۡ رَّسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِیّٖنَ

but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets

اسۡجُدُوۡا لِاٰدَمَ

Submit to Adam

فِطۡرَتَ اللّٰہِ الَّتِیۡ فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَیۡہَا

the nature in which He has created mankind

جَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ

the recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah

لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

that He may cause it to prevail over all religions

اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ

till the day when they shall be raised.

اِقۡتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُہُمۡ

Nigh has drawn for men their reckoning

فَقَدۡ جَآءَ اَشۡرَاطُہَا

when it has actually come upon them

اِقۡتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ

The Hour has drawn nigh

لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ

The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months.

اِنَّ یَوۡمًا عِنۡدَ رَبِّکَ کَاَلۡفِ سَنَۃٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوۡنَ

verily, a day with thy Lord is as a thousand years of your reckoning.

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

He will plan the Divine Ordinance from the heaven unto the earth, then shall it go up to Him in a day the duration of which is a thousand years according to what you reckon.

اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ

till the day when they shall be raised.

وَبَدَاَ خَلۡقَ الۡاِنۡسَانِ مِنۡ طِیۡنٍ

He began the creation of man from clay.

یَعۡرُجُ اِلَیۡہِ فِیۡ یَوۡمٍ کَانَ مِقۡدَارُہٗۤ اَلۡفَ سَنَۃٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوۡنَ

shall it go up to Him in a day the duration of which is a thousand years according to what you reckon.

اِنَّا لَہٗ لَحٰفِظُوۡنَ

most surely We will be its Guardian.

ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

‘Go thou to Pharaoh; he has indeed exceeded all bounds.’

قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ

Arise and warn.

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرۡ

And thy Lord do thou magnify.

وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرۡ

And thy heart do thou purify,

وَٱلرُّجۡزَ فَٱهۡجُرۡ

And uncleanliness do thou shun,
