بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ۙ﴿۳﴾

The Gracious, the Merciful,

مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Master of the Day of Judgment.

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيۡهِ رَٰجِعُونَ

‘Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.’

اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ ۚ اَلۡحَیُّ الۡقَیُّوۡمُ ۬ۚ لَا

Allah — there is no God but He, the Living,

فَإِذَا قَضَيۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡ ۚ

And when you have finished the Prayer, remember Allah while standing, and sitting, and lying on your sides.

قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡ ۚ

standing, and sitting, and lying on your sides.

وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

And remember Allah much that you may prosper.

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّکَ الۡاَعۡلَی ۙ﴿۲﴾

Glorify the name of thy Lord, the Most High,

الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰی ۪ۙ﴿۳﴾

Who creates and perfects,

وَالَّذِیۡ قَدَّرَ فَہَدٰی ۪ۙ﴿۴﴾

And Who designs and guides,

وَالَّذِیۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰی ۪ۙ﴿۵﴾

And Who brings forth the pasturage,

فَجَعَلَہٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰی ؕ﴿۶﴾

Then turns it black, rotten rubbish.

سَنُقۡرِئُکَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰۤی ۙ﴿۷﴾

We shall teach thee the Qur’an, and thou shalt forget

اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰہُ ؕ اِنَّہٗ یَعۡلَمُ الۡجَہۡرَ وَمَا یَخۡفٰی

Except as Allah wills. Surely, He knows what is open

وَنُیَسِّرُکَ لِلۡیُسۡرٰی ۚ﴿ۖ۹﴾

And We shall facilitate for thee every facility.

فَذَکِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّکۡرٰی ؕ﴿۱۰﴾

So go on reminding; surely, reminding is profitable.

سَیَذَّکَّرُ مَنۡ یَّخۡشٰی ﴿ۙ۱۱﴾

He who fears will soon heed;

وَیَتَجَنَّبُہَا الۡاَشۡقَی ﴿ۙ۱۲﴾

But the reprobate will turn aside from it,

الَّذِیۡ یَصۡلَی النَّارَ الۡکُبۡرٰی ﴿ۚ۱۳﴾

He who is to enter the great Fire.

ثُمَّ لَا یَمُوۡتُ فِیۡہَا وَلَا یَحۡیٰی ﴿ؕ۱۴﴾

Then he will neither die therein nor live.

قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَکّٰی ﴿ۙ۱۵﴾

Verily, he truly prospers who purifies himself,

وَذَکَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّہٖ فَصَلّٰی ﴿ؕ۱۶﴾

And remembers the name of his Lord and offers Prayers.

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَیٰوۃَ الدُّنۡیَا ﴿۫ۖ۱۷﴾

But you prefer the life of this world,

وَالۡاٰخِرَۃُ خَیۡرٌ وَّاَبۡقٰی ﴿ؕ۱۸﴾

Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting.

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَفِی الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰی ﴿ۙ۱۹﴾

This indeed is what is taught in the former Scriptures

صُحُفِ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰی ﴿٪۲۰﴾

The Scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
