اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Master of the Day of Judgment.

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ مَّرَضٌ ۙ فَزَادَہُمُ اللّٰہُ مَرَضًا ۚ وَلَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ

In their hearts was a disease, and Allah has increased

وَاِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡ رَیۡبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلۡنَا عَلٰی عَبۡدِنَا فَاۡتُوۡا بِسُوۡرَۃٍ

And if you are in doubt as to what We

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یَسۡتَحۡیٖۤ اَنۡ یَّضۡرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوۡضَۃً فَمَا

Allah disdains not to give an illustration as small as

وَالَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَکَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا

But they who will disbelieve and treat Our Signs as

وَقَالُوۡا لَنۡ یَّدۡخُلَ الۡجَنَّۃَ اِلَّا مَنۡ کَانَ ہُوۡدًا اَوۡ نَصٰرٰی

And they say, ‘None shall ever enter Heaven unless he

بَلٰی ٭ مَنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡہَہٗ لِلّٰہِ وَہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَلَہٗۤ اَجۡرُہٗ

Nay, whoever submits himself completely to Allah, and is the

بَلٰی ٭ مَنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡہَہٗ لِلّٰہِ وَہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَلَہٗۤ اَجۡرُہٗ

Nay, whoever submits himself completely to Allah, and is the

اِنَّ فِیۡ خَلۡقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَاخۡتِلَافِ الَّیۡلِ وَالنَّہَارِ وَالۡفُلۡکِ الَّتِیۡ

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth

وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ

And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I

وَقَاتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ الَّذِیۡنَ یُقَاتِلُوۡنَکُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ

And fight in the cause of Allah against those who

وَقَاتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ الَّذِیۡنَ یُقَاتِلُوۡنَکُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ

And fight in the cause of Allah against those who

وَاقۡتُلُوۡہُمۡ حَیۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوۡہُمۡ وَاَخۡرِجُوۡہُمۡ مِّنۡ حَیۡثُ اَخۡرَجُوۡکُمۡ وَالۡفِتۡنَۃُ اَشَدُّ مِنَ

And kill them wherever you meet them and drive them

وَقٰتِلُوۡہُمۡ حَتّٰی لَا تَکُوۡنَ فِتۡنَۃٌ وَّیَکُوۡنَ الدِّیۡنُ لِلّٰہِ ؕ فَاِنِ

And fight them until there is no persecution, and religion

یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الشَّہۡرِ الۡحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِیۡہِ ؕ قُلۡ قِتَالٌ فِیۡہِ

They ask thee about fighting in the Sacred Month. Say:

یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الشَّہۡرِ الۡحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِیۡہِ ؕ قُلۡ قِتَالٌ فِیۡہِ

They ask thee about fighting in the Sacred Month. Say:

فَہَزَمُوۡہُمۡ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ۟ۙ وَقَتَلَ دَاوٗدُ جَالُوۡتَ وَاٰتٰٮہُ اللّٰہُ الۡمُلۡکَ

So they routed them by the command of Allah; and

فَہَزَمُوۡہُمۡ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ۟ۙ وَقَتَلَ دَاوٗدُ جَالُوۡتَ وَاٰتٰٮہُ اللّٰہُ الۡمُلۡکَ

So they routed them by the command of Allah; and

لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ

There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has

لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ

لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ

There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has

اَللّٰہُ وَلِیُّ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا ۙ یُخۡرِجُہُمۡ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَی النُّوۡرِ

Allah is the friend of those who believe: He brings

لَا یُکَلِّفُ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا ؕ لَہَا مَا کَسَبَتۡ

Allah burdens not any soul beyond its capacity. It shall

اِنَّ الدِّیۡنَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ الۡاِسۡلَامُ ۟ وَمَا اخۡتَلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا

Surely, the true religion with Allah is Islam (complete submission).

قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ تَعَالَوۡا اِلٰی کَلِمَۃٍ سَوَآءٍۢ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَکُمۡ اَلَّا

Say, ‘O People of the Book! come to a word

وَمَنۡ یَّبۡتَغِ غَیۡرَ الۡاِسۡلَامِ دِیۡنًا فَلَنۡ یُّقۡبَلَ مِنۡہُ ۚ وَہُوَ

And whoso seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall

قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ

Say, ‘O People of the Book! why hinder ye the

قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ

Say, ‘O People of the Book! why hinder ye the

ثُمَّ اَنۡزَلَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الۡغَمِّ اَمَنَۃً نُّعَاسًا یَّغۡشٰی طَآئِفَۃً

Then, after the sorrow, He sent down peace on you

ثُمَّ اَنۡزَلَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الۡغَمِّ اَمَنَۃً نُّعَاسًا یَّغۡشٰی طَآئِفَۃً

Then, after the sorrow, He sent down peace on you

ثُمَّ اَنۡزَلَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الۡغَمِّ اَمَنَۃً نُّعَاسًا یَّغۡشٰی طَآئِفَۃً

Then, after the sorrow, He sent down peace on you

فَکَیۡفَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَتۡہُمۡ مُّصِیۡبَۃٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ ثُمَّ جَآءُوۡکَ یَحۡلِفُوۡنَ

Then how is it that when an affliction befalls them

وَمَنۡ یُّطِعِ اللّٰہَ وَالرَّسُوۡلَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ مَعَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمَ اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ

And whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger of His shall

وَمَا لَکُمۡ لَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَالۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِیۡنَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ

And what is the matter with you that you fight

فَبِمَا نَقۡضِہِمۡ مِّیۡثَاقَہُمۡ وَکُفۡرِہِمۡ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَقَتۡلِہِمُ الۡاَنۡۢبِیَآءَ بِغَیۡرِ حَقٍّ

Then, because of their breaking of their covenant, and their

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡمَیۡتَۃُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ الۡخِنۡزِیۡرِ وَمَاۤ اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ

Forbidden to you is the flesh of an animal which

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡمَیۡتَۃُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ الۡخِنۡزِیۡرِ وَمَاۤ اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ

Forbidden to you is the flesh of an animal which

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡمَیۡتَۃُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ الۡخِنۡزِیۡرِ وَمَاۤ اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ

مَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely,

مَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ

مَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ

مَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ

مَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely,

وَمَا مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَا طٰٓئِرٍ یَّطِیۡرُ بِجَنَاحَیۡہِ اِلَّاۤ

There is not an animal that crawls in the earth,

وَاِذَا جَآءَکَ الَّذِیۡنَ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡکُمۡ کَتَبَ رَبُّکُمۡ

And when those who believe in Our Signs come to

وَاَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ جَہۡدَ اَیۡمَانِہِمۡ لَئِنۡ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ اٰیَۃٌ لَّیُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِہَا ؕ

And they swear their strongest oaths by Allah that if

قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۳﴾ۙ

Say, ‘My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and

لَا شَرِیۡکَ لَہٗ ۚ وَبِذٰلِکَ اُمِرۡتُ وَاَنَا اَوَّلُ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۴﴾

‘He has no partner. And so am I commanded, and

وَاکۡتُبۡ لَنَا فِیۡ ہٰذِہِ الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اِنَّا ہُدۡنَاۤ

‘And ordain for us good in this world, as well

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تَتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ یَجۡعَلۡ لَّکُمۡ فُرۡقَانًا وَّیُکَفِّرۡ

O ye who believe! if you fear Allah, He will

وَاِذۡ یَمۡکُرُ بِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِیُثۡبِتُوۡکَ اَوۡ یَقۡتُلُوۡکَ اَوۡ یُخۡرِجُوۡکَ

And remember the time when the disbelievers plotted against thee

وَقَاتِلُوۡہُمۡ حَتّٰی لَا تَکُوۡنَ فِتۡنَۃٌ وَّیَکُوۡنَ الدِّیۡنُ کُلُّہٗ لِلّٰہِ ۚ

And fight them until there is no persecution and religion

وَقَاتِلُوۡہُمۡ حَتّٰی لَا تَکُوۡنَ فِتۡنَۃٌ وَّیَکُوۡنَ الدِّیۡنُ کُلُّہٗ لِلّٰہِ ۚ

And fight them until there is no persecution and religion

وَقَاتِلُوۡہُمۡ حَتّٰی لَا تَکُوۡنَ فِتۡنَۃٌ وَّیَکُوۡنَ الدِّیۡنُ کُلُّہٗ لِلّٰہِ ۚ

And fight them until there is no persecution and religion

وَاِنۡ اَحَدٌ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ اسۡتَجَارَکَ فَاَجِرۡہُ حَتّٰی یَسۡمَعَ کَلٰمَ اللّٰہِ

And if anyone of the idolaters ask protection of thee,

وَاِنۡ اَحَدٌ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ اسۡتَجَارَکَ فَاَجِرۡہُ حَتّٰی یَسۡمَعَ کَلٰمَ اللّٰہِ

And if anyone of the idolaters ask protection of thee,

کَیۡفَ یَکُوۡنُ لِلۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ عَہۡدٌ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ وَعِنۡدَ رَسُوۡلِہٖۤ اِلَّا الَّذِیۡنَ

How can there be a treaty of these idolaters with

لَا یَرۡقُبُوۡنَ فِیۡ مُؤۡمِنٍ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّۃً ؕ وَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ

They observe not any tie of relationship or covenant in

وَاِنۡ نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ عَہۡدِہِمۡ وَطَعَنُوۡا فِیۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ فَقَاتِلُوۡۤا

And if they break their oaths after their covenant, and

اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ قَوۡمًا نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ وَہَمُّوۡا بِاِخۡرَاجِ الرَّسُوۡلِ وَہُمۡ بَدَءُوۡکُمۡ

Will you not fight a people who have broken their

اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ قَوۡمًا نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ وَہَمُّوۡا بِاِخۡرَاجِ الرَّسُوۡلِ وَہُمۡ بَدَءُوۡکُمۡ

Will you not fight a people who have broken their

اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ قَوۡمًا نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمَانَہُمۡ وَہَمُّوۡا بِاِخۡرَاجِ الرَّسُوۡلِ وَہُمۡ بَدَءُوۡکُمۡ

Will you not fight a people who have broken their

اَلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَہَاجَرُوۡا وَجٰہَدُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ بِاَمۡوَالِہِمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ ۙ

Those who believe and emigrate from their homes for the

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَلَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ

Fight those from among the People of the Book who

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَلَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ

Fight those from among the People of the Book who

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَلَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ

Fight those from among the People of the Book who

وَقَالَتِ الۡیَہُوۡدُ عُزَیۡرُ ۣابۡنُ اللّٰہِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَی الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ اللّٰہِ

And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah,

اِتَّخَذُوۡۤا اَحۡبَارَہُمۡ وَرُہۡبَانَہُمۡ اَرۡبَابًا مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَالۡمَسِیۡحَ ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ

They have taken their learned men and their monks for

یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ یُّطۡفِـُٔوۡا نُوۡرَ اللّٰہِ بِاَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ وَیَاۡبَی اللّٰہُ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ

They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their

یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ یُّطۡفِـُٔوۡا نُوۡرَ اللّٰہِ بِاَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ وَیَاۡبَی اللّٰہُ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ

They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ

He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and

قُلۡ ہَلۡ مِنۡ شُرَکَآئِکُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّہۡدِیۡۤ اِلَی الۡحَقِّ ؕ قُلِ

Say, ‘Is there any of your associate-gods who leads to

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوۡلِیَآءَ اللّٰہِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear,

الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَکَانُوۡا یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۶۴﴾

Those who believed and kept to righteousness —

لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ

For them are glad tidings in the present life and

وَلِلّٰہِ غَیۡبُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَاِلَیۡہِ یُرۡجَعُ الۡاَمۡرُ کُلُّہٗ فَاعۡبُدۡہُ وَتَوَکَّلۡ

And to Allah belongs the hidden things of the heavens

قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ؕ قُلۡ

Say, ‘Who is the Lord of the heavens and the

اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَالَتۡ اَوۡدِیَۃٌۢ بِقَدَرِہَا فَاحۡتَمَلَ السَّیۡلُ زَبَدًا

He sends down water from the sky, so that valleys

اَلَمۡ تَرَ کَیۡفَ ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا کَلِمَۃً طَیِّبَۃً کَشَجَرَۃٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ

Dost thou not see how Allah sets forth the similitude

اَلَمۡ تَرَ کَیۡفَ ضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا کَلِمَۃً طَیِّبَۃً کَشَجَرَۃٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ

Dost thou not see how Allah sets forth the similitude

تُؤۡتِیۡۤ اُکُلَہَا کُلَّ حِیۡنٍۭ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّہَا ؕ وَیَضۡرِبُ اللّٰہُ الۡاَمۡثَالَ

It brings forth its fruit at all times by the

تُؤۡتِیۡۤ اُکُلَہَا کُلَّ حِیۡنٍۭ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّہَا ؕ وَیَضۡرِبُ اللّٰہُ الۡاَمۡثَالَ

It brings forth its fruit at all times by the

تُؤۡتِیۡۤ اُکُلَہَا کُلَّ حِیۡنٍۭ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّہَا ؕ وَیَضۡرِبُ اللّٰہُ الۡاَمۡثَالَ

It brings forth its fruit at all times by the

وَمَثَلُ کَلِمَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃٍ کَشَجَرَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃِ ۣاجۡتُثَّتۡ مِنۡ فَوۡقِ الۡاَرۡضِ مَا

And the case of an evil word is like that

یُثَبِّتُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِالۡقَوۡلِ الثَّابِتِ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی

Allah strengthens the believers with the word that is firmly

اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَاَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَخۡرَجَ

Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth

وَسَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ دَآئِبَیۡنِ ۚ وَسَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الَّیۡلَ وَالنَّہَارَ

And He has also subjected to you the sun and

وَاٰتٰٮکُمۡ مِّنۡ کُلِّ مَا سَاَلۡتُمُوۡہُ ؕ وَاِنۡ تَعُدُّوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ

And He gave you all that you wanted of Him;

وَاٰتٰٮکُمۡ مِّنۡ کُلِّ مَا سَاَلۡتُمُوۡہُ ؕ وَاِنۡ تَعُدُّوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ

And He gave you all that you wanted of Him;

اِنَّ عِبَادِیۡ لَیۡسَ لَکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ سُلۡطٰنٌ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَکَ مِنَ

‘Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants, except

اِنَّ عِبَادِیۡ لَیۡسَ لَکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ سُلۡطٰنٌ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَکَ مِنَ

‘Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants, except

وَالۡاَنۡعَامَ خَلَقَہَا ۚ لَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا دِفۡءٌ وَّمَنَافِعُ وَمِنۡہَا تَاۡکُلُوۡنَ ﴿۪۶﴾

And the cattle too He has created; you find in

وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ سَخَّرَ الۡبَحۡرَ لِتَاۡکُلُوۡا مِنۡہُ لَحۡمًا طَرِیًّا وَّتَسۡتَخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡہُ

And He it is Who has subjected to you the

وَاللّٰہُ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَحۡیَا بِہِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا

And Allah has sent down water from the sky, and

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ وَالۡاِحۡسَانِ وَاِیۡتَآیِٔ ذِی الۡقُرۡبٰی وَیَنۡہٰی عَنِ

Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to

مَنۡ کَفَرَ بِاللّٰہِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اِیۡمَانِہٖۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ اُکۡرِہَ وَقَلۡبُہٗ

Whoso disbelieves in Allah after he has believed — save

وَاِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوۡقِبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَلَئِنۡ صَبَرۡتُمۡ

And if you desire to punish the oppressors, then punish

وَاِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوۡقِبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَلَئِنۡ صَبَرۡتُمۡ

And if you desire to punish the oppressors, then punish

وَاِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوۡقِبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَلَئِنۡ صَبَرۡتُمۡ

And if you desire to punish the oppressors, then punish

اِنَّ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ یَہۡدِیۡ لِلَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَقۡوَمُ وَیُبَشِّرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ الَّذِیۡنَ

Surely, this Qur’an guides to what is most right; and

اِنَّ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ یَہۡدِیۡ لِلَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَقۡوَمُ وَیُبَشِّرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ الَّذِیۡنَ

Surely, this Qur’an guides to what is most right; and

مَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَمَنۡ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا یَضِلُّ

He who follows the right way follows it only for

قُلۡ کُلٌّ یَّعۡمَلُ عَلٰی شَاکِلَتِہٖ ؕ فَرَبُّکُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَنۡ ہُوَ

Say, ‘Everyone acts according to his own way, and your

قُلۡ لَّئِنِ اجۡتَمَعَتِ الۡاِنۡسُ وَالۡجِنُّ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّاۡتُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ ہٰذَا

Say, ‘If mankind and the Jinn gathered together to produce

وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِیۡ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ مِنۡ کُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۫

And surely, We have set forth for mankind in various

وَیَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنۡ ذِی الۡقَرۡنَیۡنِ ؕ قُلۡ سَاَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ ذِکۡرًا

And they ask thee about Dhu’l Qarnain. Say, ‘I will

وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَلَدًا ﴿ؕ۸۹﴾

And they say, ‘The Gracious God has taken unto Himself

لَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمۡ شَیۡئًا اِدًّا ﴿ۙ۹۰﴾

Assuredly, you have done a most monstrous thing!

تَکَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ یَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡہُ وَتَنۡشَقُّ الۡاَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ الۡجِبَالُ ہَدًّا ﴿ۙ۹۱﴾

The heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth cleave

اَنۡ دَعَوۡا لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ وَلَدًا ﴿ۚ۹۲﴾

Because they ascribe a son to the Gracious God.

قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَعۡطٰی کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلۡقَہٗ ثُمَّ ہَدٰی ﴿۵۱﴾

He said, ‘Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything

وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَلَدًا سُبۡحٰنَہٗ ؕ بَلۡ عِبَادٌ مُّکۡرَمُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾

And they say, ‘The Gracious God has taken to Himself

وَمَنۡ یَّقُلۡ مِنۡہُمۡ اِنِّیۡۤ اِلٰہٌ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ فَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِیۡہِ جَہَنَّمَ

And whosoever of them should say, ‘I am a God

اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ

Permission to fight is given to those against whom war

اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ

Permission to fight is given to those against whom war

ۣالَّذِیۡنَ اُخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡ دِیَارِہِمۡ بِغَیۡرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلُوۡا رَبُّنَا

Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly

ۣالَّذِیۡنَ اُخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡ دِیَارِہِمۡ بِغَیۡرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلُوۡا رَبُّنَا

Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly

وَیَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِہٖ سُلۡطٰنًا وَّمَا

And they worship beside Allah that for which He has

وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ

Allah has promised to those among you who believe and

ۣالَّذِیۡ لَہٗ مُلۡکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَلَمۡ یَتَّخِذۡ وَلَدًا وَّلَمۡ یَکُنۡ

He to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِیٍّ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۱۹۶﴾ؕ

In plain and clear Arabic tongue.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَہَا نُوۡدِیَ اَنۡۢ بُوۡرِکَ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا

So when he came to it, he was called by

فَلَمَّا جَآءَہَا نُوۡدِیَ اَنۡۢ بُوۡرِکَ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا

So when he came to it, he was called by

اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَکُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَکُمۡ ثُمَّ یُمِیۡتُکُمۡ ثُمَّ یُحۡیِیۡکُمۡ ؕ

It is Allah Who has created you, and then He

اِذۡ جَآءُوۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ فَوۡقِکُمۡ وَمِنۡ اَسۡفَلَ مِنۡکُمۡ وَاِذۡ زَاغَتِ الۡاَبۡصَارُ

When they came upon you from above you, and from

ۣالَّذِیۡنَ یُبَلِّغُوۡنَ رِسٰلٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَیَخۡشَوۡنَہٗ وَلَا یَخۡشَوۡنَ اَحَدًا اِلَّا اللّٰہَ

Those who delivered the Messages of Allah and feared Him,

ۣالَّذِیۡنَ یُبَلِّغُوۡنَ رِسٰلٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَیَخۡشَوۡنَہٗ وَلَا یَخۡشَوۡنَ اَحَدًا اِلَّا اللّٰہَ

Those who delivered the Messages of Allah and feared Him,

یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ اِنَّاۤ اَحۡلَلۡنَا لَکَ اَزۡوَاجَکَ الّٰتِیۡۤ اٰتَیۡتَ اُجُوۡرَہُنَّ وَمَا

O Prophet, We have made lawful to thee thy wives

ثُمَّ اَوۡرَثۡنَا الۡکِتٰبَ الَّذِیۡنَ اصۡطَفَیۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ۚ فَمِنۡہُمۡ ظَالِمٌ

Then We gave the Book for an inheritance to those

وَلَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰہُ النَّاسَ بِمَا کَسَبُوۡا مَا تَرَکَ عَلٰی ظَہۡرِہَا

And if Allah were to punish people for what they

قُلۡ یُحۡیِیۡہَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡشَاَہَاۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ ؕ وَہُوَ بِکُلِّ خَلۡقٍ

Say, ‘He, Who created them the first time, will quicken

اَوَلَیۡسَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَہُمۡ

‘Has not He Who created the heavens and the earth

اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُہٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیۡئًا اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلَ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ

Verily His command, when He intends a thing, is only

فَسُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡ بِیَدِہٖ مَلَکُوۡتُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّاِلَیۡہِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿٪۸۴﴾

So Holy is He, in Whose hand is the kingdom

لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنۡکَ وَمِمَّنۡ تَبِعَکَ مِنۡہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۸۶﴾

‘That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and with

غَافِرِ الذَّنۡۢبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوۡبِ شَدِیۡدِ الۡعِقَابِ ۙ ذِی الطَّوۡلِ ؕ

The Forgiver of sin and the Acceptor of repentance, Severe

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقَامُوۡا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقَامُوۡا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and

نَحۡنُ اَوۡلِیٰٓؤُکُمۡ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ وَلَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا

‘We are your friends in this life and in the

نَحۡنُ اَوۡلِیٰٓؤُکُمۡ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ وَلَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا

‘We are your friends in this life and in the

نُزُلًا مِّنۡ غَفُوۡرٍ رَّحِیۡمٍ ﴿٪۳۳﴾

‘An entertainment from the Most Forgiving, the Merciful.’

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفۡسِہٖ وَمَنۡ اَسَآءَ فَعَلَیۡہَا ؕ وَمَا رَبُّکَ

Whoso does right, it is for his own soul; and

اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ الۡکِتٰبَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَالۡمِیۡزَانَ ؕ وَمَا یُدۡرِیۡکَ لَعَلَّ

Allah it is Who has sent down the Book with

وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَیِّئَۃٍ سَیِّئَۃٌ مِّثۡلُہَا ۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی

And the recompense of an injury is an injury the

اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ فِیۡ لَیۡلَۃٍ مُّبٰرَکَۃٍ اِنَّا کُنَّا مُنۡذِرِیۡنَ ﴿۴﴾

Truly, We revealed it in a blessed Night. Truly, We

فِیۡہَا یُفۡرَقُ کُلُّ اَمۡرٍ حَکِیۡمٍ ۙ﴿۵﴾

In it all wise things are decided,

قُلۡ اَرَءَیۡتُمۡ مَّا تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ اَرُوۡنِیۡ مَاذَا خَلَقُوۡا

Say, ‘Do you know what it is you call on

وَمَنۡ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنۡ یَّدۡعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ مَنۡ لَّا یَسۡتَجِیۡبُ

And who is more astray than those who, instead of

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ

He it is Who has sent His Messenger, with guidance

مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ مَعَہٗۤ اَشِدَّآءُ عَلَی الۡکُفَّارِ رُحَمَآءُ

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those who are

وَاَنۡ لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

And that man will have nothing but what he strives

حِکۡمَۃٌۢ بَالِغَۃٌ فَمَا تُغۡنِ النُّذُرُ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Consummate wisdom; but the warnings profit them not.

فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوۡمِ ﴿ۙ۷۶﴾

Nay, I swear by the shooting of the stars —

فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوۡمِ ﴿ۙ۷۶﴾

Nay, I swear by the shooting of the stars —

وَاِنَّہٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ عَظِیۡمٌ ﴿ۙ۷۷﴾

And, indeed, that is a grand oath, if you only

اِنَّہٗ لَقُرۡاٰنٌ کَرِیۡمٌ ﴿ۙ۷۸﴾

That this is indeed a noble Qur’an,

فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مَّکۡنُوۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۷۹﴾

In a well-preserved Book,

لَّا یَمَسُّہٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَہَّرُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۸۰﴾

Which none shall touch except those who are purified.

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَہُوَ حَقُّ الۡیَقِیۡنِ ﴿ۚ۹۶﴾

Verily, this is the certain truth.

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحِبُّ الَّذِیۡنَ یُقَاتِلُوۡنَ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ صَفًّا کَاَنَّہُمۡ بُنۡیَانٌ

Verily, Allah loves those who fight in His cause arrayed

وَاِذۡ قَالَ مُوۡسٰی لِقَوۡمِہٖ یٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُوۡنَنِیۡ وَقَدۡ تَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنِّیۡ

And remember when Moses said to his people, ‘O my

وَاِنَّہٗ لَتَذۡکِرَۃٌ لِّلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾

And verily it is a reminder for the righteous.

وَمَا ہُوَ عَلَی الۡغَیۡبِ بِضَنِیۡنٍ ﴿ۚ۲۵﴾

And he is not niggardly with respect to the unseen.

اِنَّہٗ لَقَوۡلٌ فَصۡلٌ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

It is surely a decisive word,
