اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ۙ﴿۳﴾

The Gracious, the Merciful,

مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Master of the Day of Judgment.

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَاِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings

وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ

and spend out of what We have provided for them;

خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ

Allah has set a seal on their hearts.

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضٗا

In their hearts was a disease, and Allah has increased their disease to them;

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضٗا ۖ

In their hearts was a disease, and Allah has increased their disease to them;

وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ

whose fuel is men and stones.

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ ۖ

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good works, that for them are Gardens beneath which flow streams.

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good works, that for them are Gardens beneath which flow streams.

هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي رُزِقۡنَا مِن قَبۡلُ ۖ وَأُتُواْ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهٗا ۖ

‘This is what was given us before,’ and gifts mutually resembling shall be brought to them.

يُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِيرٗا وَيَهۡدِي بِهِۦ كَثِيرٗا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Many does He adjudge by it to be erring and many by it does He guide, and none does He adjudge thereby to be erring except the disobedient

أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

Dost thou not know that Allah has the power to do all that He wills?

مَا نَنۡسَخۡ مِنۡ اٰیَۃٍ اَوۡ نُنۡسِہَا نَاۡتِ بِخَیۡرٍ مِّنۡہَاۤ اَوۡ

Whatever Sign We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّکُمۡ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنَ الۡخَوۡفِ وَالۡجُوۡعِ وَنَقۡصٍ مِّنَ الۡاَمۡوَالِ وَالۡاَنۡفُسِ وَالثَّمَرٰتِ

And We will try you with something of fear and

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّکُمۡ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنَ الۡخَوۡفِ وَالۡجُوۡعِ وَنَقۡصٍ مِّنَ الۡاَمۡوَالِ وَالۡاَنۡفُسِ وَالثَّمَرٰتِ

And We will try you with something of fear and

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡخَوۡفِ وَٱلۡجُوعِ

And We will try you with something of fear and hunger.

لَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم

We will try you.

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡخَوۡفِ

And We will try you with something of fear.

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

but give glad tidings to the patient,

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡخَوۡفِ وَٱلۡجُوعِ

And We will try you with something of fear and hunger,

الَّذِیۡنَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَتۡہُمۡ مُّصِیۡبَۃٌ ۙ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّاۤ اِلَیۡہِ

Who, when a misfortune overtakes them, say, ‘Surely, to Allah

الَّذِیۡنَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَتۡہُمۡ مُّصِیۡبَۃٌ ۙ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّاۤ اِلَیۡہِ

Who, when a misfortune overtakes them, say, ‘Surely, to Allah

اُولٰٓئِکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ صَلَوٰتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ وَرَحۡمَۃٌ ۟ وَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡمُہۡتَدُوۡنَ

It is these on whom are blessings from their Lord

أَنَّ ٱلۡقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعٗا

that all power belongs to Allah.

شَهۡرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ

The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was sent down.

وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ

And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ یَّشۡرِیۡ نَفۡسَہُ ابۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ

And of men there is he who would sell himself

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ یَّشۡرِیۡ نَفۡسَہُ ابۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ

And of men there is he who would sell himself

عَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكۡرَهُواْ شَيۡـٔٗا وَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيۡـٔٗا وَهُوَ شَرّٞ لَّكُمۡ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

but it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you like a thing while it is bad for you. Allah knows all things, and you know not.

تِلۡكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۘ

These Messengers have We exalted, some of them above others.

وَرَفَعَ بَعۡضَهُمۡ دَرَجَٰتٖ

and some of them He exalted by degrees of rank.

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُ ۚ

Allah — there is no God but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining.

لَآ إِكۡرَاهَ فِي ٱلدِّينِ

There should be no compulsion in religion.

لَآ إِكۡرَاهَ فِي ٱلدِّينِ

There should be no compulsion in religion.

لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡ ۗ

It shall have the reward it earns, and it shall get the punishment it incurs.

إِن كُنتُمۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِي يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ

If you love Allah, follow me: then will Allah love you.

فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِالۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ ﴿٪۶۴﴾

But if they turn away, then remember that Allah knows

وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ دِينٗا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ

And whoso seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him.

يَوۡمَ تَبۡيَضُّ وُجُوهٞ وَتَسۡوَدُّ وُجُوهٞ ۚ

On the day when some faces shall be white, and some faces shall be black.

يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ مِن شَيۡءٖ ۗ

They said, ‘Is there for us any part in the government of affairs?’

وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قُتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ اَمۡوَاتًا ؕ بَلۡ

Think not of those, who have been slain in the

اِنَّ فِیۡ خَلۡقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَاخۡتِلَافِ الَّیۡلِ وَالنَّہَارِ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّاُولِی

In the creation of the heavens and the earth and

ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا

Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and ponder over the creation of the heavens and the earth: “Our Lord, Thou hast not created this in vain; nay,

وَابۡتَلُوا الۡیَتٰمٰی حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّکَاحَ ۚ فَاِنۡ اٰنَسۡتُمۡ مِّنۡہُمۡ

And prove the orphans until they attain the age of

وَابۡتَلُوا الۡیَتٰمٰی حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّکَاحَ ۚ فَاِنۡ اٰنَسۡتُمۡ مِّنۡہُمۡ

And prove the orphans until they attain the age of

لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَکَ الۡوَالِدٰنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ ۪ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا

For men is a share of that which parents and

لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَکَ الۡوَالِدٰنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ ۪ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا

For men is a share of that which parents and

فَكَيۡفَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِيبَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ

Then how is it that when an affliction befalls them because of what their hands have sent on before them.

وَمَنۡ یَّعۡمَلۡ سُوۡٓءًا اَوۡ یَظۡلِمۡ نَفۡسَہٗ ثُمَّ یَسۡتَغۡفِرِ اللّٰہَ یَجِدِ

And whoso does evil or wrongs his soul, and then

بَلۡ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهَا بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ

but Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief.

یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ رَسُوۡلُنَا یُبَیِّنُ لَکُمۡ کَثِیۡرًا مِّمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ

O People of the Book! there has come to you

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ

And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or gives the lie to His Signs?

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا

And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah.

بَلۡ إِيَّاهُ تَدۡعُونَ فَيَكۡشِفُ مَا تَدۡعُونَ إِلَيۡهِ إِن شَآءَ

Nay, but on Him alone will you call; then will He remove that which you call on Him to remove, if He please

وَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ

And when there comes to them a Sign, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of that which Allah’s Messengers have been given.’ Allah knows best where to place His Message.

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا ٜ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا

They said, ‘Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves; and if

لِبَاسُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ

Raiment of righteousness

لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ

on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve.

لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمۡ أَبۡوَٰبُ ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the gates of the spiritual firmament will not be opened for them,

أَلَا لَهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ

Verily, His is the creation and the command

رَبَّنَآ أَفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡنَا صَبۡرٗا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسۡلِمِينَ

Our Lord, pour forth upon us steadfastness and cause us to die resigned unto Thee.’

أَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ ۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ

by saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea,

أَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ ۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ

by saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea,

أَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ ۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ

by saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea, we do.

فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Then in what thing will they believe thereafter?

وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

. And He protects the righteous. Base Folder Show Image

مَا رَمَيۡتَ إِذۡ رَمَيۡتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ

thou threwest not when thou didst throw, but it was Allah Who threw,

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ فُرۡقَانٗا وَيُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ

O ye who believe! if you fear Allah, He will grant you a distinction and will remove your evils from you

وَجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

and strive with your property and your persons in the cause of Allah.

كُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

be with the truthful.

وَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

and be with the truthful.

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوۡلِیَآءَ اللّٰہِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear,

لَهُمُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ

For them are glad tidings in the present life and also in the Hereafter —

يُمَتِّعۡكُم مَّتَٰعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗى

He will provide for you a goodly provision until an appointed term.

وَأَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ

And that you seek forgiveness of your Lord, and then turn to Him.

إِنِّيٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

I advise thee lest thou become one of the ignorant.’

إِنَّ ٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ يُذۡهِبۡنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ

Surely, good works drive away evil works.

إِنَّ ٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ يُذۡهِبۡنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ

Surely, good works drive away evil works.

لَہٗ دَعۡوَۃُ الۡحَقِّ ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ لَا یَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡنَ

Unto Him is the true prayer. And those on whom

أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَسَالَتۡ أَوۡدِيَةُۢ بِقَدَرِهَا

He sends down water from the sky, so that valleys flow according to their measure

وَلَقَدِ اسۡتُہۡزِیٴَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَاَمۡلَیۡتُ لِلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا ثُمَّ اَخَذۡتُہُمۡ

And surely, Messengers have been mocked at before thee; but

ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا كَلِمَةٗ طَيِّبَةٗ كَشَجَرَةٖ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصۡلُهَا ثَابِتٞ وَفَرۡعُهَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ

how Allah sets forth the similitude of a good word? It is like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose branches reach into heaven.

تُؤۡتِيٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينِۭ

It brings forth its fruit at all times

وَمَثَلُ کَلِمَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃٍ کَشَجَرَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃِ ۣاجۡتُثَّتۡ مِنۡ فَوۡقِ الۡاَرۡضِ مَا

And the case of an evil word is like that

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ

And He has also subjected to you the sun and the moon.

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيۡنِ

And He has also subjected to you the sun and the moon, both performing their work constantly

وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآ

and if you try to count the favours of Allah, you will not be able to number them.

اِنَّ عِبَادِیۡ لَیۡسَ لَکَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ سُلۡطٰنٌ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَکَ مِنَ

‘Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants, except

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ

‘Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants.

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ

‘Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants.

وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ

nor shall they ever be ejected therefrom.

وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ

and do what they are commanded.

وَکُلَّ اِنۡسَانٍ اَلۡزَمۡنٰہُ طٰٓئِرَہٗ فِیۡ عُنُقِہٖ ؕ وَنُخۡرِجُ لَہٗ یَوۡمَ

And every man’s works have We fastened to his neck,

وَاِذَاۤ اَرَدۡنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّہۡلِکَ قَرۡیَۃً اَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِیۡہَا فَفَسَقُوۡا فِیۡہَا فَحَقَّ

And when We intend to destroy a township, We address

وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ

And follow not that of which thou hast no knowledge.

إِنَّ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡبَصَرَ وَٱلۡفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنۡهُ مَسۡـُٔولٗا

Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.

مَن كَانَ فِي هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعۡمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَعۡمَىٰ

whoso is blind in this world will be blind in the Hereafter,

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

وَمَن كَانَ فِي هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعۡمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَعۡمَىٰ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind in the Hereafter,

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

وَمَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہٖۤ اَعۡمٰی فَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ اَعۡمٰی وَاَضَلُّ

But whoso is blind in this world will be blind

قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّي

Say, ‘The soul is by the command of my Lord.

وَیَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الرُّوۡحِ ؕ قُلِ الرُّوۡحُ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّیۡ وَمَاۤ

And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, ‘The soul

وَیَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الرُّوۡحِ ؕ قُلِ الرُّوۡحُ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّیۡ وَمَاۤ

And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, ‘The soul

فَوَجَدَا عَبۡدًا مِّنۡ عِبَادِنَاۤ اٰتَیۡنٰہُ رَحۡمَۃً مِّنۡ عِنۡدِنَا وَعَلَّمۡنٰہُ مِنۡ

Then found they one of Our servants upon whom We

قَالَ لَہٗ مُوۡسٰی ہَلۡ اَتَّبِعُکَ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمۡتَ

Moses said to him, ‘May I follow thee on condition

قَالَ اِنَّکَ لَنۡ تَسۡتَطِیۡعَ مَعِیَ صَبۡرًا ﴿۶۸﴾

He replied, ‘Thou canst not keep company with me in

وَکَیۡفَ تَصۡبِرُ عَلٰی مَا لَمۡ تُحِطۡ بِہٖ خُبۡرًا ﴿۶۹﴾

‘And how canst thou be patient about things the knowledge

قَالَ سَتَجِدُنِیۡۤ اِنۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ صَابِرًا وَّلَاۤ اَعۡصِیۡ لَکَ اَمۡرًا

He said, ‘Thou wilt find me, if Allah please, patient

قَالَ فَاِنِ اتَّبَعۡتَنِیۡ فَلَا تَسۡـَٔلۡنِیۡ عَنۡ شَیۡءٍ حَتّٰۤی اُحۡدِثَ لَکَ

He said, ‘Well, if thou wouldst follow me, then ask

فَانۡطَلَقَا ٝ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا رَکِبَا فِی السَّفِیۡنَۃِ خَرَقَہَا ؕ قَالَ

So they both set out till, when they embarked in

قَالَ اَلَمۡ اَقُلۡ اِنَّکَ لَنۡ تَسۡتَطِیۡعَ مَعِیَ صَبۡرًا ﴿۷۳﴾

He replied, ‘Did I not tell thee that thou wouldst

قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنِیۡ بِمَا نَسِیۡتُ وَلَا تُرۡہِقۡنِیۡ مِنۡ اَمۡرِیۡ عُسۡرًا

Moses Said, ‘Take me not to task at my forgetting

فَانۡطَلَقَا ٝ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا لَقِیَا غُلٰمًا فَقَتَلَہٗ ۙ قَالَ اَقَتَلۡتَ

So they journeyed on till, when they met a young

قَالَ اَلَمۡ اَقُلۡ لَّکَ اِنَّکَ لَنۡ تَسۡتَطِیۡعَ مَعِیَ صَبۡرًا ﴿۷۶﴾

He replied, ‘Did I not tell thee that thou wouldst

قَالَ اِنۡ سَاَلۡتُکَ عَنۡ شَیۡءٍۭ بَعۡدَہَا فَلَا تُصٰحِبۡنِیۡ ۚ قَدۡ

Moses said, ‘If I ask thee concerning anything after this,

فَانۡطَلَقَا ٝ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَتَیَاۤ اَہۡلَ قَرۡیَۃِ ۣاسۡتَطۡعَمَاۤ اَہۡلَہَا فَاَبَوۡا

So they went on till, when they came to the

قَالَ ہٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَیۡنِیۡ وَبَیۡنِکَ ۚ سَاُنَبِّئُکَ بِتَاۡوِیۡلِ مَا لَمۡ

He said, ‘This is the parting of ways between me

اَمَّا السَّفِیۡنَۃُ فَکَانَتۡ لِمَسٰکِیۡنَ یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ فِی الۡبَحۡرِ فَاَرَدۡتُّ اَنۡ اَعِیۡبَہَا

‘As for the boat, it belonged to certain poor people

وَاَمَّا الۡغُلٰمُ فَکَانَ اَبَوٰہُ مُؤۡمِنَیۡنِ فَخَشِیۡنَاۤ اَنۡ یُّرۡہِقَہُمَا طُغۡیَانًا وَّکُفۡرًا

‘And as for the youth, his parents were believers, and

فَاَرَدۡنَاۤ اَنۡ یُّبۡدِلَہُمَا رَبُّہُمَا خَیۡرًا مِّنۡہُ زَکٰوۃً وَّاَقۡرَبَ رُحۡمًا ﴿۸۲﴾

‘So we desired that their Lord should give them in

وَاَمَّا الۡجِدَارُ فَکَانَ لِغُلٰمَیۡنِ یَتِیۡمَیۡنِ فِی الۡمَدِیۡنَۃِ وَکَانَ تَحۡتَہٗ کَنۡزٌ

‘And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan

قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَعۡطٰی کُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلۡقَہٗ ثُمَّ ہَدٰی ﴿۵۱﴾

He said, ‘Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything

مَن يَأۡتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجۡرِمٗا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ

he who comes to his Lord a sinner — for him is Hell; he shall neither die therein nor live.

إِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ

Surely, you and that which you worship beside Allah are the fuel of Hell.

لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ مِنكُمۡ

Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that reaches Him.

اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یُقٰتَلُوۡنَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ ظُلِمُوۡا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلٰی نَصۡرِہِمۡ

Permission to fight is given to those against whom war

ٱلَّذِينَ أُخۡرِجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بِغَيۡرِ حَقٍّ

Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly.

وَالَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ عَلٰی صَلَوٰتِہِمۡ یُحَافِظُوۡنَ ۘ﴿۱۰﴾

And who are strict in the observance of their Prayers.

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

Then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

قُل لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَغُضُّواْ مِنۡ أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ وَيَحۡفَظُواْ فُرُوجَهُمۡ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزۡكَىٰ لَهُمۡ

Say to the believing men that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts. That is purer for them.

وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقۡدِيرٗا

and has created everything, and has ordained for it its proper measure.

وَاُزۡلِفَتِ الۡجَنَّۃُ لِلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۹۱﴾

And Heaven shall be brought near to the righteous.

وَبُرِّزَتِ الۡجَحِیۡمُ لِلۡغٰوِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۹۲﴾

And Hell shall be opened to those who have gone

ہَلۡ اُنَبِّئُکُمۡ عَلٰی مَنۡ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّیٰطِیۡنُ ﴿۲۲۲﴾ؕ

Shall I inform you on whom the evil ones descend?

تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰی کُلِّ اَفَّاکٍ اَثِیۡمٍ ﴿۲۲۳﴾ۙ

They descend on every great liar and sinner,

تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰی کُلِّ اَفَّاکٍ اَثِیۡمٍ ﴿۲۲۳﴾ۙ

They descend on every great liar and sinner,

وَمَکَرُوۡا مَکۡرًا وَّمَکَرۡنَا مَکۡرًا وَّہُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۱﴾

And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan,

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلۡمُضۡطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ

Who answers the distressed person when he calls upon Him.

وَمَا كُنَّا مُهۡلِكِي ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا وَأَهۡلُهَا ظَٰلِمُونَ

nor would We destroy the towns unless the people thereof are wrongdoers.

وَتِلۡکَ الۡاَمۡثَالُ نَضۡرِبُہَا لِلنَّاسِ ۚ وَمَا یَعۡقِلُہَاۤ اِلَّا الۡعٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾

And these are similitudes which We set forth for mankind,

وَٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُواْ فِينَا لَنَهۡدِيَنَّهُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

وَٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُواْ فِينَا لَنَهۡدِيَنَّهُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ۚ

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَا

the nature made by Allah — the nature in which He has created mankind.

فَلَا تَعۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أُخۡفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعۡيُنٖ

And no soul knows what joy of the eyes is kept hidden for them.

وَّدَاعِیًا اِلَی اللّٰہِ بِاِذۡنِہٖ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِیۡرًا ﴿۴۷﴾

And as a Summoner unto Allah by His command, and

قُولُواْ قَوۡلٗا سَدِيدٗا

say the right word.

اِنَّا عَرَضۡنَا الۡاَمَانَۃَ عَلَی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَالۡجِبَالِ فَاَبَیۡنَ اَنۡ یَّحۡمِلۡنَہَا

Verily, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the

إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

This is nothing but clear magic.’ Base Folder Show Image

وَحِيلَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ مَا يَشۡتَهُونَ

And a barrier will be placed between them and that which they long for,

إِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْ

Only those of His servants who possess knowledge fear Allah.

وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ

And if Allah were to punish people for what they do, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth;

اَوَلَمۡ یَرَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقۡنٰہُ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَۃٍ فَاِذَا ہُوَ خَصِیۡمٌ

Does not man see that We have created him from

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَّنَسِیَ خَلۡقَہٗ ؕ قَالَ مَنۡ یُّحۡیِ الۡعِظَامَ

And he coins similitudes for Us and forgets his own

قُلۡ یُحۡیِیۡہَا الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡشَاَہَاۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ ؕ وَہُوَ بِکُلِّ خَلۡقٍ

Say, ‘He, Who created them the first time, will quicken

بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيمٌ

knows every kind of creation full well,

اَوَلَیۡسَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَہُمۡ

‘Has not He Who created the heavens and the earth

اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُہٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیۡئًا اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلَ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ

Verily His command, when He intends a thing, is only

فَسُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡ بِیَدِہٖ مَلَکُوۡتُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّاِلَیۡہِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿٪۸۴﴾

So Holy is He, in Whose hand is the kingdom

اَذٰلِکَ خَیۡرٌ نُّزُلًا اَمۡ شَجَرَۃُ الزَّقُّوۡمِ ﴿۶۳﴾

Is that better as an entertainment, or the tree of

اِنَّا جَعَلۡنٰہَا فِتۡنَۃً لِّلظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾

Verily We have made it a trial for the wrongdoers.

اِنَّہَا شَجَرَۃٌ تَخۡرُجُ فِیۡۤ اَصۡلِ الۡجَحِیۡمِ ﴿ۙ۶۵﴾

It is a tree that springs forth in the bottom

طَلۡعُہَا کَاَنَّہٗ رُءُوۡسُ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ ﴿۶۶﴾

The fruit thereof is as though it were the heads

وَمَا مِنَّاۤ اِلَّا لَہٗ مَقَامٌ مَّعۡلُوۡمٌ ﴿۱۶۵﴾ۙ

And the angels say: ‘And there is not one of

وَّاِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ الصَّآفُّوۡنَ ﴿۱۶۶﴾ۚ

‘And, verily, we are those who stand ranged in ranks.

اِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّکَ لِلۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ اِنِّیۡ خَالِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّنۡ طِیۡنٍ ﴿۷۲﴾

When thy Lord said to the angels, ‘I am about

فَاِذَا سَوَّیۡتُہٗ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رُّوۡحِیۡ فَقَعُوۡا لَہٗ سٰجِدِیۡنَ ﴿۷۳﴾

‘And so when I have fashioned him in perfection, and

فَسَجَدَ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ کُلُّہُمۡ اَجۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۷۴﴾

So the angels submitted, all of them together.

إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ

But Iblis did not.

أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ

‘I am better than he. Thou hast created me of fire and him hast Thou created of clay.’

لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنۡکَ وَمِمَّنۡ تَبِعَکَ مِنۡہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۸۶﴾

‘That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and with

اَللّٰہُ یَتَوَفَّی الۡاَنۡفُسَ حِیۡنَ مَوۡتِہَا وَالَّتِیۡ لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِیۡ مَنَامِہَا

Allah takes away the souls of human beings at the

وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقٗا يُصِبۡكُم بَعۡضُ ٱلَّذِي يَعِدُكُمۡ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡرِفٞ كَذَّابٞ

but if he is truthful, then some of that which he threatens you with will surely befall you. Certainly Allah guides not one who is a transgressor, and a liar.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ ۚ

: ‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ ۚ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡ

‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer.

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقَامُوۡا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and

نَحۡنُ أَوۡلِيَآؤُكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ

‘We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter.

مَّنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِنَفۡسِهِ

Whoso does right, it is for his own soul;

اِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّوۡمِ ﴿ۙ۴۴﴾

Verily, the tree of Zaqqum

طَعَامُ الۡاَثِیۡمِ ﴿ۖۛۚ۴۵﴾

Will be the food of the sinful,

کَالۡمُہۡلِ ۚۛ یَغۡلِیۡ فِی الۡبُطُوۡنِ ﴿ۙ۴۶﴾

Like molten copper, it will boil in their bellies,

کَغَلۡیِ الۡحَمِیۡمِ ﴿۴۷﴾

Like the boiling of scalding water.

إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡكَرِيمُ

Thou didst consider thyself the mighty, the honourable.

فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

In what word, then, after rejecting that of Allah and His Signs will they believe?

مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ ۖ فِيهَآ أَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيۡرِ ءَاسِنٖ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن لَّبَنٖ لَّمۡ يَتَغَيَّرۡ طَعۡمُهُۥ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ خَمۡرٖ لَّذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ عَسَلٖ مُّصَفّٗى ۖ

A description of the Garden promised to the righteous: therein are rivers of water which corrupts not; and rivers of milk of which the taste changes not; and rivers of wine, a delight to those who drink, and rivers of clarified hone

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ

and ask forgiveness for thy frailties, and for believing men and believing women.

يَدُ ٱللَّهِ فَوۡقَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ

The hand of Allah is over their hands.

نَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ.

We know what his physical self whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

وَالذّٰرِیٰتِ ذَرۡوًا ۙ﴿۲﴾

By the winds that scatter seeds with a true scattering,

فَالۡحٰمِلٰتِ وِقۡرًا ۙ﴿۳﴾

Then by the clouds that carry the load of moisture,

فَالۡجٰرِیٰتِ یُسۡرًا ۙ﴿۴﴾

Then by the rivers that flow gently,

فَالۡمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۙ﴿۵﴾

And then by the angels that finally administer and execute

فَالۡمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۙ﴿۵﴾

And then by the angels that finally administer and execute

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾

And I have not created the Jinn and the men

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾

And I have not created the Jinn and the men

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾

And I have not created the Jinn and the men

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾

And I have not created the Jinn and the men

وَاَنۡ لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

And that man will have nothing but what he strives

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّہٖ جَنَّتٰنِ ﴿ۚ۴۷﴾

But for him who fears to stand before his Lord

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّہٖ جَنَّتٰنِ ﴿ۚ۴۷﴾

But for him who fears to stand before his Lord

وَكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينٖ

and cups filled out of a flowing spring —

لَّا یُصَدَّعُوۡنَ عَنۡہَا وَلَا یُنۡزِفُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۰﴾

No headache will they get therefrom, nor will they be

لَا یَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِیۡہَا لَغۡوًا وَّلَا تَاۡثِیۡمًا ﴿ۙ۲۶﴾

They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk,

اِلَّا قِیۡلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا ﴿۲۷﴾

Except only the word of salutation, ‘Peace, peace.’

يَوۡمَ تَرَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ يَسۡعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِم ۖ

And think of the day when thou wilt see the believing men and the believing women, their light running before them and on their right hands,

يَوۡمَ تَرَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ يَسۡعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِم ۖ

And think of the day when thou wilt see the believing men and the believing women, their light running before them and on their right hands,

وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ نُورٗا تَمۡشُونَ بِهِۦ

and will provide for you a light wherein you will walk.

وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٖ مِّنۡهُ

and whom He has strengthened with inspiration from Himself.

فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ

So when they deviated from the right course, Allah caused their hearts to deviate,

فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ

’ So when they deviated from the right course, Allah caused their hearts to deviate

فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ

So when they deviated from the right course, Allah caused their hearts to deviate

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ وَاَہۡلِیۡکُمۡ نَارًا وَّقُوۡدُہَا النَّاسُ وَالۡحِجَارَۃُ

O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ ۖ نُورُهُمۡ يَسۡعَىٰ بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَتۡمِمۡ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

those who have believed with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands. They will say, ‘Our Lord, perfect our light for us and forgive us; surely Thou hast power over all things.’

نُورُهُمۡ يَسۡعَىٰ بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ

Their light will run before them and on their right hands.

وَلَقَدۡ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا رُجُومٗا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ ۖ

And verily, We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and We have made them for driving away satans.

مَا لَکُمۡ ٝ کَیۡفَ تَحۡکُمُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۷﴾

What is the matter with you? How judge ye!

وَانۡشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَہِیَ یَوۡمَئِذٍ وَّاہِیَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۱۷﴾

And the heaven will cleave asunder, and it will become

وَّالۡمَلَکُ عَلٰۤی اَرۡجَآئِہَا ؕ وَیَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّکَ فَوۡقَہُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذٍ ثَمٰنِیَۃٌ

And the angels will be standing on the sides thereof,

خُذُوۡہُ فَغُلُّوۡہُ ﴿ۙ۳۱﴾

‘Seize him and fetter him,

ثُمَّ الۡجَحِیۡمَ صَلُّوۡہُ ﴿ۙ۳۲﴾

‘Then cast him into Hell.

ثُمَّ فِیۡ سِلۡسِلَۃٍ ذَرۡعُہَا سَبۡعُوۡنَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسۡلُکُوۡہُ ﴿ؕ۳۳﴾

‘Then put him into a chain the length of which

وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَیۡنَا بَعۡضَ الۡاَقَاوِیۡلِ ﴿ۙ۴۵﴾

And if he had forged and attributed any sayings to

لَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡہُ بِالۡیَمِیۡنِ ﴿ۙ۴۶﴾

We would surely have seized him by the right hand,

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡہُ الۡوَتِیۡنَ ﴿۫ۖ۴۷﴾

And then surely We would have severed his life-artery,

مَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ

And none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He.

وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ

And none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He.

وُجُوۡہٌ یَّوۡمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۲۳﴾

Some faces on that day will be bright,

اِلٰی رَبِّہَا نَاظِرَۃٌ ﴿ۚ۲۴﴾

Looking eagerly towards their Lord;

اِنَّاۤ اَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ سَلٰسِلَا۠ وَاَغۡلٰلًا وَّسَعِیۡرًا ﴿۵﴾

Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and iron-collars

اِنَّاۤ اَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ سَلٰسِلَا۠ وَاَغۡلٰلًا وَّسَعِیۡرًا ﴿۵﴾

Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and iron-collars

اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ یَشۡرَبُوۡنَ مِنۡ کَاۡسٍ کَانَ مِزَاجُہَا کَافُوۡرًا ۚ﴿۶﴾

But the virtuous drink of a cup, tempered with camphor

اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ یَشۡرَبُوۡنَ مِنۡ کَاۡسٍ کَانَ مِزَاجُہَا کَافُوۡرًا ۚ﴿۶﴾

But the virtuous drink of a cup, tempered with camphor

عَیۡنًا یَّشۡرَبُ بِہَا عِبَادُ اللّٰہِ یُفَجِّرُوۡنَہَا تَفۡجِیۡرًا ﴿۷﴾

A spring wherefrom the servants of Allah drink. They make

عَیۡنًا یَّشۡرَبُ بِہَا عِبَادُ اللّٰہِ یُفَجِّرُوۡنَہَا تَفۡجِیۡرًا ﴿۷﴾

A spring wherefrom the servants of Allah drink. They make

وَیُسۡقَوۡنَ فِیۡہَا کَاۡسًا کَانَ مِزَاجُہَا زَنۡجَبِیۡلًا ﴿ۚ۱۸﴾

And therein will they be given to drink a cup

عَیۡنًا فِیۡہَا تُسَمّٰی سَلۡسَبِیۡلًا ﴿۱۹﴾

From a spring therein named Salsabil.

وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابٗا طَهُورًا

And their Lord will give them to drink a pure beverage.

وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابٗا طَهُورًا

And their Lord will give them to drink a pure beverage.

وَالۡمُرۡسَلٰتِ عُرۡفًا ۙ﴿۲﴾

By the angels who are sent forth with goodness,

فَالۡعٰصِفٰتِ عَصۡفًا ۙ﴿۳﴾

And then they push on with a forceful pushing,

وَّالنّٰشِرٰتِ نَشۡرًا ۙ﴿۴﴾

And by the forces that spread the truth, a good

فَالۡفٰرِقٰتِ فَرۡقًا ۙ﴿۵﴾

And then they distinguish fully between good and evil.

فَالۡمُلۡقِیٰتِ ذِکۡرًا ۙ﴿۶﴾

Then they carry the exhortation far and wide

اِنۡطَلِقُوۡۤا اِلٰی ظِلٍّ ذِیۡ ثَلٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿ۙ۳۱﴾

‘Aye, move on towards a shadow which has three sections,

لَّا ظَلِیۡلٍ وَّلَا یُغۡنِیۡ مِنَ اللَّہَبِ ﴿ؕ۳۲﴾

‘Neither affording shade, nor protecting from the flame.’

فَالۡمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۘ﴿۶﴾

Then they manage the affair entrusted to them.

فَالۡمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۘ﴿۶﴾

Then they manage the affair entrusted to them.

وُجُوۡہٌ یَّوۡمَئِذٍ مُّسۡفِرَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۳۹﴾

On that day some faces will be bright,

ضَاحِکَۃٌ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَۃٌ ﴿ۚ۴۰﴾

Laughing, joyous!

وَوُجُوۡہٌ یَّوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَیۡہَا غَبَرَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۴۱﴾

And some faces, on that day, will have dust upon

تَرۡہَقُہَا قَتَرَۃٌ ﴿ؕ۴۲﴾

Darkness will cover them.

اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡکَفَرَۃُ الۡفَجَرَۃُ ﴿٪۴۳﴾

Those are the ones that disbelieved and were wicked.

تَعۡرِفُ فِیۡ وُجُوۡہِہِمۡ نَضۡرَۃَ النَّعِیۡمِ ﴿ۚ۲۵﴾

Thou wilt find in their faces the freshness of bliss.

اِنۡ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَیۡہَا حَافِظٌ ؕ﴿۵﴾

There is no soul but has a guardian over it.

وَادۡخُلِیۡ جَنَّتِیۡ ﴿٪۳۱﴾

And enter thou My Garden.

فَاَلۡہَمَہَا فُجُوۡرَہَا وَتَقۡوٰٮہَا ۪ۙ﴿۹﴾

And He revealed to it what is wrong for it

فَاَلۡہَمَہَا فُجُوۡرَہَا وَتَقۡوٰٮہَا ۪ۙ﴿۹﴾

And He revealed to it what is wrong for it

اِنَّ مَعَ الۡعُسۡرِ یُسۡرًا ؕ﴿۷﴾

Aye, surely there is ease after hardship.

تَنَزَّلُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ وَالرُّوۡحُ فِیۡہَا بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّہِمۡ ۚ مِنۡ کُلِّ اَمۡرٍ

Therein descend angels and the Spirit by the command of

سَلٰمٌ ۟ۛ ہِیَ حَتّٰی مَطۡلَعِ الۡفَجۡرِ ﴿٪۶﴾

It is all peace till the rising of the dawn.

اَلۡہٰکُمُ التَّکَاثُرُ ۙ﴿۲﴾

Mutual rivalry in seeking worldly increase diverts you from God

حَتّٰی زُرۡتُمُ الۡمَقَابِرَ ؕ﴿۳﴾

Till you reach the graves.

کَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۴﴾

Nay! you will soon come to know.

ثُمَّ کَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Nay again! you will soon come to know.

کَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ عِلۡمَ الۡیَقِیۡنِ ؕ﴿۶﴾

Nay! if you only knew with certain knowledge,

لَتَرَوُنَّ الۡجَحِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۷﴾

You will surely see Hell in this very life.

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّہَا عَیۡنَ الۡیَقِیۡنِ ۙ﴿۸﴾

Aye, you will surely see it with the eye of

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ یَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِیۡمِ ﴿٪۹﴾

Then, on that day you shall be called to account

نَارُ اللّٰہِ الۡمُوۡقَدَۃُ ۙ﴿۷﴾

It is Allah’s kindled fire,

نَارُ اللّٰہِ الۡمُوۡقَدَۃُ ۙ﴿۷﴾

It is Allah’s kindled fire,

نَارُ اللّٰہِ الۡمُوۡقَدَۃُ ۙ﴿۷﴾

It is Allah’s kindled fire,

نَارُ اللّٰہِ الۡمُوۡقَدَۃُ ۙ﴿۷﴾

It is Allah’s kindled fire,

الَّتِیۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَی الۡاَفۡـِٕدَۃِ ؕ﴿۸﴾

Which rises over the hearts.

الَّتِیۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَی الۡاَفۡـِٕدَۃِ ؕ﴿۸﴾

Which rises over the hearts.

الَّتِیۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَی الۡاَفۡـِٕدَۃِ ؕ﴿۸﴾

Which rises over the hearts.

الَّتِیۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَی الۡاَفۡـِٕدَۃِ ؕ﴿۸﴾

Which rises over the hearts.

فَوَیۡلٌ لِّلۡمُصَلِّیۡنَ ۙ﴿۵﴾

So woe to those who pray,

الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ عَنۡ صَلَاتِہِمۡ سَاہُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

But are unmindful of their Prayer.

قُلۡ ہُوَ اللّٰہُ اَحَدٌ ۚ﴿۲﴾

Say, ‘He is Allah, the One;

اَللّٰہُ الصَّمَدُ ۚ﴿۳﴾

‘Allah, the Independent and Besought of all.

لَمۡ یَلِدۡ ۬ۙ وَلَمۡ یُوۡلَدۡ ۙ﴿۴﴾

‘He begets not, nor is He begotten;

وَلَمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّہٗ کُفُوًا اَحَدٌ ﴿٪۵﴾

‘And there is none like unto Him.’
