ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ لَکُمۡ مَّا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِیۡعًا ٭ ثُمَّ

He it is Who created for you all that is

وَاِذَا تَوَلّٰی سَعٰی فِی الۡاَرۡضِ لِیُفۡسِدَ فِیۡہَا وَیُہۡلِکَ الۡحَرۡثَ وَالنَّسۡلَ

And when he is in authority, he runs about in

قُلِ اللّٰہُمَّ مٰلِکَ الۡمُلۡکِ تُؤۡتِی الۡمُلۡکَ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَتَنۡزِعُ الۡمُلۡکَ

Say, ‘O Allah, Lord of sovereignty, Thou givest sovereignty to

وَلۡتَکُنۡ مِّنۡکُمۡ اُمَّۃٌ یَّدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَی الۡخَیۡرِ وَیَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَیَنۡہَوۡنَ عَنِ

And let there be among you a body of men

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ وَاِذَا

Verily, Allah commands you to make over the trusts to

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ وَاِذَا

Verily, Allah commands you to make over the trusts to

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ وَاِذَا

Verily, Allah commands you to make over the trusts to

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ وَاِذَا

Verily, Allah commands you to make over the trusts to

مَا کَانَ لِنَبِیٍّ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنَ لَہٗۤ اَسۡرٰی حَتّٰی یُثۡخِنَ فِی

It does not behove a Prophet that he should have

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ الۡاَحۡبَارِ وَالرُّہۡبَانِ لَیَاۡکُلُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَ

O ye who believe! surely, many of the priests and

یَّوۡمَ یُحۡمٰی عَلَیۡہَا فِیۡ نَارِ جَہَنَّمَ فَتُکۡوٰی بِہَا جِبَاہُہُمۡ وَجُنُوۡبُہُمۡ

On the day when it shall be made hot in

قَالُوۡا یٰشُعَیۡبُ اَصَلٰوتُکَ تَاۡمُرُکَ اَنۡ نَّتۡرُکَ مَا یَعۡبُدُ اٰبَآؤُنَاۤ اَوۡ

They replied, ‘O Shu‘aib, does thy Prayer bid thee that

اِنَّ لَکَ اَلَّا تَجُوۡعَ فِیۡہَا وَلَا تَعۡرٰی ﴿۱۱۹﴾ۙ

‘It is provided for thee that thou wilt not hunger

وَاَنَّکَ لَا تَظۡمَؤُا فِیۡہَا وَلَا تَضۡحٰی ﴿۱۲۰﴾

‘And that thou wilt not thirst therein, nor wilt thou

وَالَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ عَنِ اللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴﴾

And who shun all that which is vain,

وَلۡیَسۡتَعۡفِفِ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَجِدُوۡنَ نِکَاحًا حَتّٰی یُغۡنِیَہُمُ اللّٰہُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ

And those who find no means of marriage should keep

وَلۡیَسۡتَعۡفِفِ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَجِدُوۡنَ نِکَاحًا حَتّٰی یُغۡنِیَہُمُ اللّٰہُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ

And those who find no means of marriage should keep

وَتَبٰرَکَ الَّذِیۡ لَہٗ مُلۡکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا ۚ وَعِنۡدَہٗ

And blessed is He to Whom belongs the kingdom of

فَاِذَا لَقِیۡتُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا فَضَرۡبَ الرِّقَابِ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَثۡخَنۡتُمُوۡہُمۡ

And when you meet in regular battle those who disbelieve,

اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَہۡوٌ وَّزِیۡنَۃٌ وَّتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَیۡنَکُمۡ وَتَکَاثُرٌ

Know that the life of this world is only a

مَاۤ اَفَآءَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی رَسُوۡلِہٖ مِنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡقُرٰی فَلِلّٰہِ وَلِلرَّسُوۡلِ

Whatever Allah has given to His Messenger as spoils from

یَقُوۡلُ اَہۡلَکۡتُ مَالًا لُّبَدًا ؕ﴿۷﴾

He says, ‘I have spent enormous wealth.’

اَیَحۡسَبُ اَنۡ لَّمۡ یَرَہٗۤ اَحَدٌ ؕ﴿۸﴾

Does he think that no one sees him?

اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلۡ لَّہٗ عَیۡنَیۡنِ ۙ﴿۹﴾

Have We not given him two eyes,

وَلِسَانًا وَّشَفَتَیۡنِ ۙ﴿۱۰﴾

And a tongue and two lips?

وَہَدَیۡنٰہُ النَّجۡدَیۡنِ ﴿ۚ۱۱﴾

And We have pointed out to him the two highways

فَلَا اقۡتَحَمَ الۡعَقَبَۃَ ﴿۫ۖ۱۲﴾

But he attempted not the ascent courageously.

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮکَ مَا الۡعَقَبَۃُ ﴿ؕ۱۳﴾

And what should make thee know what the ascent is?

فَکُّ رَقَبَۃٍ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

It is the freeing of a slave.

اَوۡ اِطۡعٰمٌ فِیۡ یَوۡمٍ ذِیۡ مَسۡغَبَۃٍ ﴿ۙ۱۵﴾

Or feeding in a day of hunger

یَّتِیۡمًا ذَا مَقۡرَبَۃٍ ﴿ۙ۱۶﴾

An orphan near of kin,

اَوۡ مِسۡکِیۡنًا ذَا مَتۡرَبَۃٍ ﴿ؕ۱۷﴾

Or a poor man lying in the dust.

ثُمَّ کَانَ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡمَرۡحَمَۃِ ﴿ؕ۱۸﴾

Again, he should have been of those who believe and

ثُمَّ کَانَ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡمَرۡحَمَۃِ ﴿ؕ۱۸﴾

Again, he should have been of those who believe and
