PRAYERS 126 from burden of debts and from being overwhelmed by people. Another Prayer for Burden of Debt Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra relates that Hadrat Ab u -Bakr ra came and asked her if she knew the prayer taught to him by the Holy Prophet sa. Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra enquired about the prayer. He said that Hadrat ‘I s a as (Jesus) taught this prayer to his companions. It is such a prayer that if one owes a mountain of gold to someone, All a h will remove the debt with the blessings of this prayer. َ َْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﻓَﺎرِج ْ اهل ْ ﻢ ِّ ،Lَﺎﺷِﻒ َ اﻟ ْ ﻐَﻢِّ،جمُِﻴ ُْ ﺐ َ دَﻋ ْ ﻮَة ِ امل ْ ﻀ َ ﻄَﺮِّﻳ ﻦ ْ رﺣ ﻤٰﻦ ْ اﻟﺪُّﻧ ْٰ ﻴَﺎ ْ وَاﻻ ْ ﺧِﺮَة ِ و َ رَﺣِﻴ ْ ﻤَﻬُﻤَﺎ اَﻧ ﺖ َ ﺗَﺮ ْ ﺣﻤ ْ ﻓَﺎر ْ ْ ﺣﻤ َ ﺑِﺮ ْ ٍ ﺣ ﻤﺔ ْ ْ ﺗُﻐ [ِﻨ ِْ ْىن َﺑِﻬَﺎ ﻋَﻦ ر ْ ﺣ ﻤﺔ ْ َﻣَﻦ ﺳِﻮَاک. 250 O All a h , the Remover of difficulties and sorrows, Listener to the supplications of the destitute, Bestower of bounties of this world and Hereafter and Giver of reward for hard work. You alone can bestow mercy upon me. Thus give me a share in such special mercy which will make me independent of every kind of benevolence except Your’s. Prayer for Contentment and Removal of Burden of Debt On request from Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra an attendant of the Holy Prophet sa taught her this prayer: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ رَب َّ اﻟﺴَّﻤٰﻮَاتِ اﻟﺴَّﺒ ْ ﻊِ وَرَبِّ اﻟ ْ ﻌَﺮ ْ شِ اﻟ ٍ ﻌَﻈِﻴ َءÕ ُِّﻞL َّوَرَب ِْ ﻢِ رَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ُﻣ ْ ِْ ل َ اﻟﺘَّﻮ ْ رَاة ِ و َ اﻻِْجن ِ ﻴ ْ ﻞ ْ وَاﻟ َْ ﻘُﺮ ْ آن ِ ﻓَﺎﻟِﻖ َ احل ْ ﺐ ِّ وَاﻟﻨَّﻮٰی اَﻋُﻮ َْذُﺑِک َ ﻣِﻦ Õ ِّ ُﻞL ِّ ﺷَﺮ ْ ء ٍ اَﻧ ﺖ َ اٰﺧِﺬ ٌ ﺑِﻨَﺎﺻِ[َﺘªِ ْ ْ اَﻧ ْ ﺖ َ اﻻَْوَّل ُ ﻓَﻠَ[ َْ ﺲ َ ﻗَﺒ Õ َ ﻠَک ْ َ ء ٌ وَاَﻧ ْ ﺖ ْ اﻵْﺧِﺮ ُ ﻓَﻠَ[ َْ ﺲ َ ﺑَﻌ Õ َ ﺪَک ٍ َّ ء ْ و ْ اَﻧ ْ ﺖ َ اﻟﻈَّﺎﻫِﺮ ُ ﻓَﻠَ[ َْ ﺲ َ ﻓَﻮ Õ َ ﻗَک ْ َ ء ٌ وَاَﻧ ْ ﺖ ُ اﻟ ْﺒَﺎﻃِﻦ [َﻓَﻠ ْ َْ ﺲَ دُو Õ َﻧَک ْ ْ ءٌ اِﻗ ْ ﺾِ ﻋَىنِّ اﻟﺪَّﻳ ِْ ﻦَ وَ اَﻏ ِْىن ْ ﻣِﻦَ اﻟ ﻔَﻘ ﺮ. 251
