Jahan Begum widow of late Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement who breathed her last on Sunday night was laid to rest this morning at Rabwah۔The funeral prayer was led by her eldest son, Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, the present Head of the community and was attended by several thousand people from all classes of society۔Besides members of the Ahmadiyya community from various parts of the country, a large number of the general public reached Rabwah to join the funeral۔The deceased lady was held in high esteem in the Ahmadiyya community for her association for over half a century with the work of her husband, the founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement۔Condolence messages are pouring in from all parts of Pakistan India and the word including Indonesia, the Middle East, Europe and America where the follower of the movement are spread۔(ترجم) (حضرت) مرزا غلام احمد (صاحب) کی بیوہ کو سپردخاک کر دیا گیا ریده ۲۲ اپریل۔سعیدہ نصرت جہاں بیگم بود مرزا غلام احمد بانی سلسلہ احمدیہ کی بیوہ تھیں گذشتہ اتوار کی رات کو وفات پاگئیں اور آج صبح انہیں ربوہ میں سپردخاک کر دیا گیا۔آپ کی نماز جنازہ اُن کے سب سے بڑے صاحبزادے مرزا بشیر الدین محمود احمد جو کہ جماعت کے موجودہ سربراہ ہیں نے پڑھائی اور جنازہ میں جماعت کے ہر طبقہ کے ہزاروں افراد نے شرکت کی۔ملک کے مختلف حصوں سے آئے ہوئے جماعت احمدیہ کے ممبران کے علاوہ دوسرے لوگ بھی کثیر تعداد میں نماز جنازہ میں شرکت کے لئے ربوہ پہنچے۔مرحومہ کا اپنے شوہر محترم کے کام کے ساتھ نصف صدی سے زائد تعلق کی وجہ سے بہت بلند مقام تھا۔پاک وہند کے ہر حصے سے اور دنیا کے دیگر ممالک مثلاً انڈونیشیا، مشرق اوسط، یورپ اور امریکہ سے جہاں جہاں بھی جماعت کے ممبران موجود ہیں تعزیتی پیغامات موصول ہو رہے ہیں۔اخبار دی پاکستان ٹائمز (۲۳ اپریل ۱۹۵۲ کے حسب ذیل الفاظ میں غیر دی :
