18. Zaid bin Arqam, God be pleased with him, narrates: "One day, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood to address us: he praised Allah, glorified Him, and then exhorted and admonished us, saying: '0 people! I am a human being. It is likely that one day a messenger from my Lord will come to me, and then I will depart from this world. I am leaving two important things among you: the Book of Allah, containing guidance and light. So, hold fast to the Book of Allah and abide by it. ' Thus he aroused our interest and made us excited about the Book of Allah. Then he said: 'I am also leaving behind the members of my household. ' He then said three times, 'I caution you to be mindful of Allah as to how you treat my family members. ' (Muslim ) 14
