An Ode in Praise of God Almighty and the Best of Mankind 45 ٖ ِ بِفَضْلِہ ِّٰ الْکَرِیْم هّٰلل َ ا ن ِّ ٌ م بَدْر ٖ ِ بِفَضْلِہ ِّٰ الْکَرِیْم هّٰلل َ ا ن ِّ ٌ م ِبَدْر ِ ضِرَاء ْ بِلَغْی َ یَغْسُو اْل ُ ِوَالْبَدْر ِ ضِرَاء ْ بِلَغْی َ یَغْسُو اْل ُ وَالْبَدْر He is the full moon from the Noble God out of His grace; And a full moon does not become devoid of luminescence by the absurd chatter of a blind man. ٖ َ جَمَالِہ ُ نُوْر ُ الْکُفَّار َ یُبْصِر اْل ٖ َ جَمَالِہ ُ نُوْر ُ الْکُفَّار َ یُبْصِر اْل ِ ِوَالْمَوْت ُ خَیْر ٌ مِن ْ حَیَاۃ ِ غِشَاء وَالْمَوْت ُ خَیْر ٌ مِن ْ حَیَاۃ ِ غِشَاء The disbelievers cannot see the light emitted by his beauty; Death is a better option than living a life of unconsciousness. ٖ ِ دِیْنِہ مَنَاھِـج ٌ فِي بُرَاء إِنَّا ٖ ِ دِیْنِہ مَنَاھِـج ٌ فِي بُرَاء ِإِنَّا ِّ دَھَاء ٍ عَدُو ِّ زِنْدِیْق ْ کُل ِمِن ِّ دَھَاء ٍ عَدُو ِّ زِنْدِیْق ْ کُل مِن We are treading upon the pathways of his Faith; And we are averse to every infidel and adversary of reason. ٗ َ اَمْرَہ ِّ و َ النَّبِي ُ اٰثَار نَخْتَار ٗ َ اَمْرَہ ِّ و َ النَّبِي ُ اٰثَار ِنَخْتَار َ ااْلْٰرَآء اْل ِّٰ هّٰلل َ ا ْ کِتَاب ِنَقْفُو َ ااْلْٰرَآء اْل ِّٰ هّٰلل َ ا ْ کِتَاب نَقْفُو We adopt the Prophetic traditions and injunctions of the Holy Prophet s as ; We follow the Word of God and not any opinions. یَا مُکْفِرِي ْ إِن َّ الْعَوَاقِب َ لِلتُّقٰی ِیَا مُکْفِرِي ْ إِن َّ الْعَوَاقِب َ لِلتُّقٰی ِ کَالْعُق َـاَلَء َ ااْلَْمْر ْ مَآل ِفَانْظُر ِ کَالْعُق َـاَلَء َ ااْلَْمْر ْ مَآل فَانْظُر O you who denies me! It is a righteous person who has a good end; Keep then, like people of wisdom, an eye on the ultimate out- come of things. ِ ُ بِالْخُی َـاَلَء َ تَمِیْس ْ اَرَاك إِنِّي ِ ُ بِالْخُی َـاَلَء َ تَمِیْس ْ اَرَاك ِإِنِّي ْإ ِسْرَاء اْل ِ و َا َ الظَّعْن َ یَوْم ِأَنَسِیْت ْإ ِسْرَاء اْل ِ و َا َ الظَّعْن َ یَوْم أَنَسِیْت I see, how you have a conceited and vainglorious gait; Have you forgotten about the Day of Travel, and the Night of Departure?
