Response to the booklet entitled Ilh a m i Girgit 109 theory has been described by Maulana R u m in his Mathnawi the following words: ز ِس چ دای حق اَولی ا اافطل O my dear child, listen! The saints are the children of God. ( Kulliyy a t Mathnaw i , Maul a n a Jalal-ud-D i n Muhammad Balkhi Rumi, vol. 3, p. 213, Intish a r a t Kit a bchi, Tehran, 1375 AH) Maulaw i Sahib! Who is deserving of opprobrium—the people known as the children of God or the ones who mock and deride them? Hadrat Mirza Sahib is one of the children of God, but you are the one who reviles him. To which group of people do you belong? Maulaw i Sahib! We would like to remind you of a Hadith narrated by Dailm i. He quotes Hadrat Salman Farsi who in turn quotes the Holy Prophet Muhammad s as : ُ ْض ُ الرَّجُل ِ و َ الِْسْتِغْفَار ُ طَھَارَتُہ ي َ اَلْكِذْب ُ ح Falsehood is the menstruation of men. It is purified by istighf a r (seeking the forgiveness of Allah). ( Al-Firdausu bi-Ma’th u ril Kut u b Ab u Shuj a ‘ ad-Dailam i , vol. 3, p. 315, Hadith 4953, D a rul-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah, Beirut, 1986) B a bu Ilahi Bakhsh could not prove any falsehood in Hadrat Mirza Sahib; he failed miserably in his devious schemes. But Maulaw i Sahib, your pamphlet and our rebuttal prove time and time again
