CHAPTER 4 A perfect servant of the Almighty God who discharged his obligations 76 length of time as Qiy a m. In Sajdah he did Tasb ih and prayed. When H u du r sa started S al a t he recited ّٰ ُِ اَﻟﻠ ِاَکْربَْذُوْاملَﻠَکُﻮْت ِْوَاجلَْربُْوْت َوَاﻟْکِرب ِ ﻳ َﺎء ِ وَاﻟﻌَﻈْﻤ ﺔ Meaning, "All a h is Great. He has the authority, His is the Majesty and grandeur and His is all the greatness. " Then he recited the whole of S u rah Al-Baqarah and performed Ruk u ‘ which was as long as Qiy a m. In between the two Sajdah ' s he recited ِّ ِْرَب ِّاﻏﻔِﺮْىل ِْرَب اﻏﻔِﺮْىل Meaning, "My Lord forgive me, my Lord forgive me. " He sat the same length of time as the duration of Sajdah. In other Rak‘ a ts he recited S u rah A l-e- ‘Imr a n , An-Nis a ’ , Al-M a ’idah and Al-An‘ a m.
