That is the most logical understanding of this had ī th and each and every Ahmad ī is willing to accept that the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa is the last man to be born of his status. No one can achieve his status after him. Neither of the above ah ā d ī th states that the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa was the last prophet. The translation of the word Muqaff ā as “the last in succession” by Farhan Khan is just what it is - only a translation!
