101 Wa s iyyat increased from 1/10 or decreased, in case he is unable to pay, to less than 1/3. A M usi shall pay this Chanda monthly according to his/her income. In case of those whose income is on seasonal or annual basis, they will pay at their promised rate on the realization of their income. 2. A M usi on whom Chanda has become obligatory, but he does not pay and his Chanda is overdue for six months, his Wa s iyyat can be cancelled. He can, however, seek some respite from Majlis K a rpard a z. 3. A M usi whose chanda is overdue for six months and he does not maintain any contact (with Concerned Department) his Wa s iyyat is prone to cancellation. 4. No one is exempt from Chanda Wa s iyyat. In case a M usi is unable to pay Chanda at the prescribed rate he had better get his Wa s iyyat cancelled on account of extreme hardship. Chanda H i ss a J a ’id a d H i ss a J a ’id a d is the Chanda which M usia n pay after making formal assessment of their property. As for the income generated by the property, whether before or after H i ss a J a ’id a d has been paid, Chanda shall have to be paid on it at the rate of Chanda ‘ A m. 1. All the property which a M usi receives in inheritance or creates himself, and allots to himself or to anybody else, is considered to be M usi ’s property. 2. Property acquired on mortgage shall be considered the property of the M usi. Whenever a M usi buys a property with cash or on mortgage, he/she should forthwith inform the Markaz about it and give all the details. Moreover, if a property is sold on profit, H i ss a J a ’id a d shall be payable on the profit, as well.
