[ARABIC ODE BY THE PROMISED MESSIAH] قَدْ كَفَّرُوْا مَنْ قَالَ إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ لِمَقَالَةِ ابْنِ بَطَالَةٍ وَ عُوَاءِ آن کسے را کافر قرار دادند که میگوید که من مسلمانم این همه از سخن بٹالوی عوعو کننده است They denounced as a disbeliever the one who says, 'I am a Muslim, Because of the statements and clamour of the son of Batala [Sheikh Muḥammad Husain of Batala]. خَوْفُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ مَا أَرَى فِي قَلْبِهِمْ فَارَتْ عُيُونُ تَمَرُّدٍ وَ إِبَاءِ خوف خدا دل ایشان نمی بینم چشمہ ہائے سرکشی در جوش اند در I do not find the fear of the Supreme Being in their hearts; Rather, their springs of rebellion and denial have gushed forth. قد كُنْتُ أَمِلُ أَنَّهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَهُ فَالْيَوْمَ قَدْ مَالُوْا إِلَى الْأَهْوَاءِ من امید می داشتم که ایشان از و خواهند ترسید پس امروز سوئے ہوا و ہوس میل کردند I had hoped that they would fear Him, But at this time they are inclined towards carnal desires. نَضُوا الثِّيَابَ ثِيَابَ تَقْوَى كُلُّهُمْ ما بَقِيَ إِلَّا لِبْسَةُ الْإِغْوَاءِ ہمہ جامہائے پرہیز گاری را از خود بر کشیدند و پیچ جامه بجز جامه اغوا نزدشان نماند All of them have cast off the robes of righteousness; Nothing remains [upon them] except the garment of deceit. هَلْ مِنْ عَقِيْفٍ زَاهِدٍ فِي حِزْبِهِمْ أَوْ صَالِحٍ يَخْشَى زَمَانَ جَزَاءِ آیا هیچ پرهیز کاری زاہدے در گروه ایشان موجود است؟ یا نیکو کاری موجود است که از روز پاداش می ترسد Is anyone left among them who is pious and God-fearing, Or one who is virtuous and fears the Day of Retribution? 947
