It is probably true that Saddam Hussein committed atrocities against hwnanity and he is answerable for it, but this is not true that Saddam alone is the culprit in this grueso me game. There were many others too involved in this heinous crime. There are many cruel and heartless among the allies, who are today being presented as 'innocent' and 'righteous', who openly backed the cause of torture and oppression, as long as it suited their interest. It should, therefore be understood that this was not at all a war between the Truth and Falsehood. THE REMEDY FOR THE HEARTBREAK OF MUSLIMS Young Muslims are terribly heartbroken. The news which I get from across the world is that it became unbearable for the youngsters to watch the barbarities perpetrated against the Iraqis. They were tormented by what they saw on the T. V. Some young boys and girls came to see me to express their bitterness with their voices choked with pain and emotion. They ask in desperation: "What is happening! Why is our God not coming to our aid. . " When the servants of God snap their relations with Him and with the divine attribute of His Unity, and instead of adopting chaste Islamic principles, follow the defiled principles of the enemies of Islam, then God stands neither on this side nor on that side. Then such a conflict ceases to remain a conflict between TRUTH and FALSEHOOD. Secondly, as far as worldly conflicts are concerned, they should remember that with this defeat, time has not halted! History continues to change direction. Times do change. If today it is so, tomorrow it is completely different. Some nations spent centuries in oppression and then God granted them dominance over their tormentors. Therefore, develop your line of thinking in accordance with the time-frame of Allah. Do not get restive keeping in view your concept of a time frame. 286
