The Gulf Crisis &: The New World Order Foreword The radical changes occurring on the global scene and the complicated and furious problem facing the Muslim World in the aftermath of the Gulf War, are the burning topic of the day. The spiritual Head of The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, delivered a series of 17 Friday Sermons on the Gulf War. 14 of these sermons were delivered while the war was in progress and the events were still unfolding. The remaining 3 sermons were delivered in March 1991, when the war had just come to a tragic end. In these sermons, he put political posturing and policy manoeuvring in its religious and historical perspective; highlighting various hidden motives and offering vivid glimpses of their far-reaching consequences. He has presented a profound analysis of the situation in its entirety and offered proposals for the establishment of the genuine New World Order that is predicated upon the system of absolute JUSTICE proclaimed by the Holy Quran. This alone will guarantee a lasting peace in the world and insure a bright future for humanity.
