452 The Nation THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 1999 Ijaz Jaji among five killed CHINIYOT (AAP) Elite Force killed four dacoits including two notorious robbers Ijaz alias Jaji and Tanveer alias Tani during a commando action when the docoits made hostage the school children and teachers at chak no۔237/GB here on Wednesday, Jaji and Tani with head money of lacks of rupees were wanted to police in a number of cases of heinous nature۔According to the details, four bandits kidnapped one Mirza Ghulam Qadir who was on his car no۔LOX-6021۔After snatching his car they tried to proceed toward Chiniot۔When they reached at the East Bridge of River Chenab, they got held up in traffic mass۔Meanwhile, their victum Mirza Ghulam Qadir raised hue and cry for help۔On which the dacoits shot and injured him and left him in the car in a critical condition۔He was rushed to a nearby Hospital by the people of the area where he expired۔The criminals while fleeing from the scene resorted to aerial firing to create panic۔In this course some stray bullets hit three passengers namely Sardar Bukhsh, Tauseef Ahmad (Bus Driver) and a school teacher Nasreen travelling in a bus as a result, Sardar Bukhsh Kumar died instantly while the others two received injuries and were shifted to a Chiniot hospital۔Meanwhile the dacoits took shelter in a primary school children and teachers۔After having an information about incident the police rushed to the scene and encircled the school, ordered the dacoits to surrender۔Later, the elite force was called from Lahore to-tackle the situation where after commando action the children were got released and the dacoits were killed whose bodies were shifted to district mortuary۔
