forth۔Seeing his restlessness his Reader, Ghulam Haider, inquired if he was unwell۔Captain Douglas confided that wherever he went Mirza Sahib's image confronted him professing his innocence۔But he did not know how to get the truth out of Abdul Hameed۔Mr۔Ghulam Haider suggested that he should consult the Superintendent of Police۔So, on the advice of Mr۔Lee Merchant the S۔P۔, Mr۔Abdul Hameed was re-interrogated۔As a result Abdul Hameed fell down on his feet weeping bitterly and told him how Dr۔Henry Martin Clark and his colleagues had made him give a completely false statement۔On 23rd August 1897 Captain Douglas acquitted the Promised Messiah(AS) of the charge of abetment to murder۔This case shows what a firm and unshakeable faith the Promised Messiah(AS) had in the succour of Almighty Allah۔12
