Ê ø í ø  ø [aor. mø Ë » í ø  ö inf. noun Ê ø í »  º and Ê ø í ø  º and Ê ø í ø ^  º etc. ] : He glorified in or boasted of certain qualities; he recounted the particulars of the ancestral nobility or eminence or his own glorious deeds and qualities, or he arrogated to himself greatness and nobility (and ]ô Ê» jø í ø  ø and iø Ë ø ^ ì ø  ø ). Ê ø í ø  ø (inf. noun Ê ø í »  º ) : He manified himself by boasting. Ê ø í ø  ø (aor mø Ë » í ø  ö inf noun Ê ø í ø  º ) : He disdained or scorned. iø Ë ø ^ ì ø  ö æ » ] (inf. noun iø Ë ø ^ ì ö  º ) : They vied with one another in Ê ø í ø  º i. e. in boasting etc. iø Ë ø ^ ì ö  º eø n» ßø Ó ö Ü » : A source of boasting among yourselves (57:21). Ê ø ^ ì ô  º (as also Ê ø í ö ç »  º ) act. part. : One who glories and boasts. Ê ø í ö ç »  º : One who glories and boasts much and frequently. Ê ø ^ ì ô  º : A thing of excellent qualities. ]ô Þ $ ä ü Öø Ë ø  ô | º Ê ø í ö ç »  º : Lo, he is exultant, boastful (11:11). Ê ø í ö ç »  º also means a she-camel great in the udder, having little milk; also a palm-tree great in the trunk, thick in the branches. Ê ø í $ ^  º : Baked pottery or baked clay or baked vessels of clay (55:15). Ê ø  ø p [aor. mø Ë »  ô p » inf. noun Ê ø  ÷ p and Ê ô  ÷ p and Ê ô  ø ] ð º ]. Ê ø  ø p ] Ö  $ q ö Ø ø Ú ô à ø ] » ø  »  ô : He ransomed him from captivity. Ê ø  ø m» jö ä ü eô Û ø ^ Öô o » : I purchased or ransomed him with my property. æ ø Ê ø  ø m» ßø ^ å ö eô  ô e» x õ Â ø ¿ ô n» Ü õ : And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (37:108). Also Ê ø  ÷ p and Ê ô  ÷ p and Ê ô  ø ] ð º and Ê ô  » mø è º all signify the same. æ ø ]ô Ú $ ^ Ê ô  ø ] ð ÷ : Or by taking ransom (47:5). Ö ^ mö © » ì ø  ö Ú ô ß» Ó ö Ü » Ê ô  » mø è º : No ransom shall be accepted from you (57:16). Ê ø  $ [aor. mø þ ³ Ë ô  % inf. noun Ê ô  ø ]  º and Ê ø  ' and Ú ø Ë ô  ' and Ú ø Ë ø  ' ] : He fled or he turned away or aside to elude and fled from a thing that he feared. mø ç » Ý ø mø Ë ô  % ] Ö» Û ø  » ð ö : On the day when a man will flee from. . . . . .
