took from the man's property the like of what the latter had taken from him.  ø Ï ø g ø ] Ö  $ n» g : Whiteness of the hair came after blackness.  ø Ï $ g ø of which iø à » Ï ô n» g º is inf. noun signifies, doing a thing and then returning to doing it; performing an act of Prayer and then returning to doing it in the same day; waiting for another Prayer after saying one Prayer;  ø Ï $ g ø said of a combatant, means he returned after fleeing. iø à » Ï ô n» g º also signifies turning back. æ ø Ö # o Ú ö  » eô  ÷ ] æ $ Öø Ü » mö à ø Ï ôù g » : He turned back retreating and did not wait or did not look back or did not return (27:11).  ø Ï $ g ø ] » ø Ú »  ø : He looked to the consequence, end, issue or result of the affair.  ø ^ Î ø fø ä ü (inf. noun  ô Ï ø ^ h º and Ú ö à ø ^ Î ø fø è º ) : He did a thing with the man alternately and taking his turn.  ø ^ Î ø fø ä ü : He punished him, as denoting consequence to retaliation or retribution i. e. he retaliated. æ ø Ú ø à »  ø ^ Î ø g ø eô Û ô %» Ø ô Ú ø ^  ö ç » Î ô g ø eô ä´ : And whoso punishes or retaliates with the like of that with which he has been afflicted (22:61). ]ø  » Ï ø fø ä ü : It made a thing to follow as a consequence to him; he made him to take his place; he descended from his beast in order that the other might ride in his turn. ]ø  » Ï ø fø ä ü eô _ ø ^  ø jô ä´ : He recompensed or requited him for his obedience, ]ø  » Ï ø fø ä ü Þø  ø Ú ÷ ^ æ $ â ø Û & ^ : It occasioned him as its consequence repentance and anxiety. ]ø  » Ï ø f» k ö ] Ö  $ q ö Ø ø : I recompensed the man good.  ø ^ Î ø f» jö ä ü means, I requited him ill. Hence  ø ^ Î ô fø è º is good recompense and  ô Ï ø ^ h º is bad requital or punishment. But this is not always the case. ]ø  » Ï ø g ø : He died and left offspring to succeed him. Ê ø ^ø  » Ï ø fø ã ö Ü » Þô Ë ø ^ Î ÷ ^ Ê ô o » Î ö × ö ç » eô ã ô Ü » : So He requited them with hypocrisy (to last) in their heart (9:77).  ö Ï » fF o : A substitute or anything that is given or taken in exchange for another thing; a returning; requital or recompense; consequence; end or last state. iô ×» Ô ø  ö Ï » fø o ] Ö $  ô m» à ø ] i $ Ï ø ç » ] : This is the reward of the righteous. æ ø  ö Ï » fø o ] Ö» Ó ø ^ Ê ô  ô m» à ø ] Ö ß $ ^  ö : And the reward of the disbelievers is Fire (13:36). æ ø ø mø í ø ^ Í ö  ö Ï » fø ^ â ø ^ : And He (God) cared not for the consequences thereof (91:16).  ø ^ Î ô fø è º is syn. with  ø ^ Î ô fø è º.  ö Ï » fF o also means children.
